hi.. im newbie here in this thread.. pero matagal na akong nagbabasa dito.. and i find it very interesting and informative.. anyway PCOS din ako i was diagnosed last year.. hindi naman ako tabain before yon nga lang irregular mens ko.. pero year 2009 ng magsimula akong magkahilig sa matatamis wich is not me before coz im more on salty than sweet.. so don narin nagsimula ang pagtaba ko.. from 108 dati ngayon 165 na.. and its really hard to lose weight lahat na ginawa ko small amount of foods and exercise plus dietary supplement pero mas tumataba lang ako.. last year kinutuban na ako na there is something wrong with me so nagpa-check up ako months after my wedding and don nalaman na PCOS ako.. hindi ko masyadong pinroblema kasi i thought its not serious case until i found out na its possible for me not to get preggy.. so im now on med now.. provera para datnan daw ako then ill take clomid on 2nd day of my mens and metformin and folic acid naman ang maintenance ko.. anyone here who got preggy on this med?? i really need some motivation.. coz i dont want to lose hope...

I am having irregular menstruation since last year. First, i noticed that the numbers of days shortened (from 5 days down to 3). Early this year my monthly period comes every other month and just this month i am experiencing blood spottings. It'll only stop for a week or so and it's back again. I am 22 years old an a virgin. I am overweight, 180lbs. I don't want to go to an ob gyne for a trans v. I am afraid and I don't want to tell my mom. I am also planning to take pills since lots of women I spoke to was told by their doctors to take contraceptive pills to regulate teir menstruation. I badly need a professional help. Thank you.

^hi sis lovelesschic, i highly suggest you go see an OB GYN. If you're working and earning your own money i don't think your mom has to know. I'm on meds for my PCO for several months now pero i haven't told my mom. It's not like it's terminal or something. You can go to any OB naman and tell them your concern, exactly how you narrated it here. I won't advise you taking any oral meds without prescription, kase depende pa din sa hormones na kelangan mo. And i think if you havent had sexual encounter, hindi transvaginal ang ultrasound na ipapagawa for you. Go see a doctor already, that's the only professional help you have to get.

Hi sisses.. i was diagnosed with PCOS just last week and the OB prescribed sophia 3rd gen. Oral pills daw to shrink the cyst on both ovaries.. pero i never missed my period in a month as in regular parin mens ko. Ang kakaiba lang na napansin ko was im having mga excessive hairgrowth sa legs and toes.. and lumolobo ako kahit di na nga ako kumakain masyado. Sabi din ni OB that i need to lose weight nga.. ANO GINAWA OR TINAKE NYO TO LOSE.WEIGHT? SAFE KAYA WHILE TAKING PILLS? PLS.HELP ....Has anyone of you experienced the same scenario? And paano ang gamutan sa inyo? Tia

Share ko lang story ko and I am hoping na meron ding may ganitong experience like mine. 10 years ago I was diagnosed for PCOS. I was 16 then. nag take ako ng Diane 35 to help me have my fist mens, two months ako nag take ng diane. for the first month nag karon ako ng period, but the following month, hindi na. I was still young that time and sabi ng parents ko maybe kailangan lang talaga maghintay for the natural period flow. So I waited and waited for years, hindi ako nagkaron. Now, I am having problems since may work na ako and I am earning enough to start the process of treating my PCOS. Nagkakaron ako ng problems, my OB prescribed Duphaston 10mg 1x a day for 5days and Premarin 2x a day for 5 days, she told me within 3-9 days I will be having my period since maganda naman daw ang result ng mga blood tests ko pero 14days na after my last take ng meds, wala pa rin akong period. I am scared na baka may something serious na problema sa ovaries ko or uterus ko. Meron bang may the same problem as mine? Help!

Have undergone laparoscopy last year to remove my dermoid cyst and it was discovered that i have endometriosis. I'm eating healthily, except for these past few months which napapakain talaga ako ng mga chocolates - I can't resist them

Had my quarterly exam last saturday, and my OB said malinis naman ako but "may pagka polycystic" daw ako...then niresearch ko what it means kasi madalas ko na naririnig yun.  And it turned-out na hindi din pala maganda yun.  Nalulungkot ako, kaya pala bigla na lang naging oily ang skin ko at nagkakaroon ako ng pimples.  Gusto ko gumaling.  I'm single, so I'm not worried (right now) if i'll be having a baby or not.  I just want to be healed and I don't want another operation nor take another medicine.  How can i treat this another problem with unknown cause called pcos?

Hi mga sis, new here.. Actually nagbabasa na'ko before ng mga thread dito sa network about PCOS and now lang ako nagregister  Kakasal ko lang last May2014. Nadiagnosed ako last 4th quarter ng 2012 with PCOS kasi almost 5 months ako hindi nagkakaron and my OB (St.Lukes-GLobal) prescribed me Provera for 10 days ata para lang ako magkamens then pills, yung Diane. itake ko daw yun for 6 months and tingnan namin kung mareregulate na kaso nung tinigil ko hindi na naman ako nagkamens. So bumalik ako ulit. Ganon ulit, umulit ulit kami. Provera + Cybelle + Stop after 6 months.Pinalitan niya yung Diane ng Cybelle kasi mas mura daw. Nung iniStop ko, ganon na naman hindi na naman ako nagkamens. Umulit ulit kami for the third time. And tinigil ko siya last February 2014 kasi pinastop na ni Hubby, ikakasal kasi kami ng May2014 baka daw hindi ako agad magbuntis pag pills ako ng pills. As usual, hindi na naman ako nagkamens. After namin ikasal nung May, nagpacheck up agad ako sa OB. Ibang OB na'to kasi naBadtrip nko ng sobra dun sa OB ko sa St. Lukes-Global, since si Hubby taga Batangas, Sa CP Reyes na'ko nagpacheck-up. Hindi nko pumili ang specialization niya kasi hinanap na lang namin kung sinong available nun na OB. Kinwento ko sa kanya yung past medication ko and since gusto na namin magkaanak, hindi na niya ko pinagtake ng pills to regulate. Provera + Metformin + Folic Acid + Ovamit pinrescribe niya sa akin. After ng isang cycle, hindi na naman ako nagkamens, so ganon ulit. Provera + Metformin + Folic Acid + Ovamit. tinaasan niya lang yung dosage ng Metformin from 500 - 750. Hindi na naman ako nagkamens, so ganon ulit, instead nga lang ng Provera, Duphaston na binigay niya sken. Hanggang ngayon ganon pa rin. Cyclical pa rin ginagawa niya para maregulate. Pinagdadiet niya din ako kasi 13kilos ang nilaki mula nung 2012. Not sure if dahil sa PCOS yun.
Ask ko lang kung tama ba yung iniinom ko na gamot para sa sitwasyon ko. diko na kasi alam kung tama ba mga pinagagawa sken kasi yung Boss ko everytime na check up ko itatanong niya kung anong iniinom ko, anong sinasabi sken tapos kung ano anong sasabihin niya against sa OB ko. Dinaig niya pa talaga yung OB ko, nakakairita.

sis MissVeket, Si Judith Peralta OB ko dun. Naiinis ako sa kanya kasi for almost 2years , wala syang explanation about sa case ko. Ang bilis pa ng consultation ko sa kanya, mas matagal pa yung paghihintay ko. Nagtatanong naman ako pero parang may gap. Ewan ko din ba bakit hindi ko kaagad naisip na lumipat agad ng OB before.

ok naman sis. Metformin iniinom ko ngayon and duphaston. Monthly ako nagvivisit kay Doc kasi binibilang niya yung araw ng pag inom ko ng Duphaston and para maMonitor yung pagmemens ko. Pati Clomid. Totally hindi ako nagkakamens kasi pag wala ako iniinom eh

Sis, super same tayo. Ganyan din ako eh. 5 months hindi ako nagkamens kaya ako nagpacheck sa Doc, then Provera para magkamens and Diane para magregulate. After 6 months taking Diane, iStop mo yun then monitor for another month if magkakamens ka. Kaso sa Case ko, pag tinitigil ko siya after 6 months hindi naman ako nagkakamens. Kaya pabalik balik ako sa Provera and Diane before.

oo Sis, pero ngayon nung nagpalit ako ng OB , Metformin na tinatake ko and Clomid pag 1st/2nd day of Mens and Folic Acid since gusto ko na talaga magkaBaby. Sana maging ok na to.

Ang tagal ko ng di nagpapacheck-up. Tapos lumaki pa ako ulit ngayun. Magdiet muna ako ulit, nagtatake nga ako ulit Metformin para mawalan gana kumain.

grabe talaga sis makapagpataba. nagGain ako halos 10kilos since nadiagnosed ako na may PCOS. Sabi ni Doc magdiet and exercise daw ako kaso wala ako time mag exercise, diet lang talaga pero hindi p rin nagagawa minsan

Hi, nagpa check up ako sa ob last tuesday, my ob said i have  polycystic-like features on my left ovary.. is it leading to pcos? Pcos is caused by hormonal imbalance daw eh i think i'm experiencing imbalance nga because of my acnes na di na gumaling galing..although regular ang cycle ng period ko.. what to do kaya?
