^hi sis, ginanahan naman ako sayo may pcos din ako tapos my myoma pa me.. Ang alam ko pag lumalaki ang nipple at sumasakit din yung boobs buntis yun kasi ganun sa pinsan ko buntis sya ngayon ganun daw symptoms.

Is it possible to have regular mens but still have PCO?

I had my baby earlier this year and since then my periods have been very strong and dysmenorrea has been horrible. I had a TVS in May and there was a suspected polyp.

I had a SISH done today to confirm the polyp and while they were examining the sonologist commented na PCO. I was surprised coz I don't have any of the regular symptoms that I've heard of and my periods are regular naman.

If I am PCO, then our baby is truly a blessing as we weren't expecting to get pregnant yet.

Asko ko Lang what reason kung bakit keLangan operahan ang ovarian cyst?! Kasi ako may cyst din naman sa Left ovary pero hindi siya keLangan operahan! Ano ba difference niLa?!

yes sis! there are so many types of ovarian cyst. Some of them just forms when ovulation does not occur but eventually disappear by themselves within a few months.

thanks simple_chix! I just gave birth February of this year and I'm wondering if theres any connection at all, though they were not there my last ultrasound in May. Sigh....

I was diagnosed with PCOS a few years back. I went on treatment for a while pero di ko natuloy tuloy yun pagtake ng meds so ganun pa din. I don't get my period for months at a time. Longest I didn't have my period was 8 months. Parang full term pregnancy na  But am gonna see a new OB soon. Can you ladies help in recommending a good one?

Just want to share my experience. I was diagnosed with polycystic ovaries (not really a PCOS) last Dec 12 after having a transrectal exam as part of my annual checkup. Was advised to talk to an OB. The OB asked me the ff: (1) if i have irregular mens - no, mine is regular. cycle usually lasts for 28-30 days; (2) if i have excessive hair growth - no except for my legs which dati pa naman; (3) if im overweight - obviously i am. So she said that there's nothing to worry about, its merely hormonal imbalance as she checked din my other med results such as sugar, sgpt, cholesterol etc which (im thankful to God) are all normal naman nan

So she just advised me to lose some weight and decided not to give me medications kasi regular naman daw ang menstruation ko. btw im just 25yo and my OB is Dra. Capistrano from St Lukes-Global.

hindi ako nakainom ng athena kahapon nagstart pills ko.  Akala ko bukas pa yung generic sarado na pala.  Pwede pa ba ako magstart uminom? thanks!

Hi. Usually, it's with the patient's discretion to have her cysts removed surgically unless otherwise advised by a specialist. Depende sa size ng cyst or sa number nila since usually bumabalik sila even after removal by surgery.

Provera at metformin ang gamot ko.
Pang 2 months na ako nag gagamot.
Ano ba ang pcos?
Nakaka cause ba ng cancer to?
Ano mga bawal na kainin kapag may pcos ka?

Mga sis I have PCOS and I was prescribed to take diane35 and metformin 2years ago. Sabi naman kasi ng OB ko saka ko na daw gamutin kapag mag-aasawa na ako and balak ko na magka-baby. Ikakasal na ako sa April 6 and parating na fiance ko sa March 15 so I started taking medications 3days ago. Mas malaki ba chance ko mabuntis kung i-stop ko pills pagdating niya?

Mga sis, depressed talaga ako 
Nasa 2nd month palang ako ng gamutan pero hindi na naging maganda.
Ibig ko sabihin. Hindi ako nag karoon. Nung 1st month ko uminom ng provera
Naging okay naman ang result. Yung 2nd month 2weeks na since last take ko ng provera
Pero hanggang ngayon patapos na ang febraury pero wala pa din ako dalaw.
Na dedepress talaga ako.

Anybody here who's got PCOS or irregular mens? Sino na naka try mag take ng Provera(orals) to regulate mens and Diane 35 for treating acne? My OB kasi prescribed me those pills but hindi clear ang instructions nya at unsure ako if I got her right  (sorry, slow lang talaga ako when it comes sa pills, first time kasi.hehe  ). Sa pagkakaintindi ko, I have to take Provera for 7 days or until dumating yung mens ko. Then pag may mens na ako, i'll take the first pill of Diane 35 on the SECOND DAY of my period.

Tama ba ang pagkakaintindi ko sa instructions ng OB? Please help! Huhu!  I wanna make sure kasi before taking these pills. Ayoko magkamali. Thanks sissies!

Why not ask your doc AGAIN, sis. Following pharmaceutical advice on a forum, from people who don't know you from Eve, is not exactly the wisest route.

I'm so happy kasi I found out na right ovary na lang ang polycystic ko. Doctor prescribed me to take na clomid pagdating ng asawa ko para magka-baby agad. Yehey
