^Two weeks? Pwede na sana i-unpaid strike yan di ba? Bait mo naman, at swerte natapat sa demanding buyer.

I'm surprised with some eBay buyers - malinaw sa listing when payment should be made.  I guess some would bid and hope to win but would not have ready funds for the purchase.  Personally, when I bid I make sure I can pay immediately.

^i did. But I got sick so wasn't able to go online for days after filing a case. Finally when I was about to close the case, she paid naman. Sabi nga ni hubby pasensya na Lang siya di pa uso ang tele-portal couriers.

What's more irritating pa was the time she texted. Kasi ako as a buyer I never text past 6pm. Kumbaga I respect that sellers have lives outside eBay. I've noticed padami ng padami na ang buyers who are like. Dis oras na ng Gabi if mag-text. Yung iba di ka titigilan until you replied

Matagal bago magbayad pero unreasonable pag sa shipping ng item?  t@nga yun sis. Pagpasensyahan mo na.  Hazard yan ng online selling.  At least bayad ka, hindi ka niloko.  I-explain mo na lang ang mechanics ng online selling with the timeline ng payment at delivery ng courier.  That's one less clueless ebay buyer in the world.  Kung humirit pa, huwag mo nang pansinin.

Hello! Sorry hindi ko alam kung san appropriate na ipost to, but:

I bought a foundation from a UK seller (reliable naman accdg to the hundreds of feedback given to her) 2 months ago, sabi niya she shipped it "Normal International Post" is that the same thing as "Registered Air Mail"? First time ko na ganito katagal yung paghintay ko ng Notification from Philpost hay. Feeling ko kasalanan ng Philpost, okay lang kaya kung puntahan ko sa branch and dun ako magtanong? Paadvise naman

do you follow yung pag-open ng unpaid strike?? like yung you have to wait 10 days before you open a dispute, then 30 days bago mo ma-close then relist the item again??  i've done this to my last non paying bidder/buyer, ang tagal pala ng process.  then di ko din naman sure kung talagang nalagyan ng unpaid strike yung non-payer na yun.  anyways, curious lang ako...i don't want to wait sana that long pa para i-relist item ko.

I have 2 non-paying buyers and I filed cases against them. Now, I received a payment last Sunday. Kaso ang problema walang any message who sent the payment. Both of the unpaid transactions have the same amount. I texted the number who sent the gcash payment, but no reply. I also sent messages in eBay to both non-paying buyers inquiring if sino between the 2 of them who sent the payment. Still no reply!

I'm just afraid Baka ako pa ang mabaligtad na Hindi ko pinadala item nila after he/she sent the payment.

i bid for an item na tomorrow morning mag-eend.. eh si seller nakalagay sa payment details strictly 4 days lang otherwise i-unpaid item strike daw .. 

as of today, ako pa din highest bidder, so i pmed the seller asking if it is possible to extend the timeframe to 5 days kasi nga, thurs-sunday walang bank kaya earliest would be monday pa diba? 5 days yun..wala pa reply hanggang ngayon

It's illegal to bid on your own item and you can report them if you have any suspicions. Like if the seller is selling many items of the same kind and selling at the same low price, nakakaduda nga naman na kung ano yung may bids, dun din nagcocompete other buyers when they can bid on same item at a lower price pa (so obvious).  And if that buyer has only a few feedbacks and always the same buyer, you can voice out your suspicion as well.

BUT usually, buyers do bid at the last minute. I am one of them. It's a buying technique to make sure you keep it at the price you want especially if the bids are still low.

Pls enlighten me on this. There is a popular ebayer local seller, but do u think she is trying to hype up the bids? Nagkataon immbidding on similar items, then although starting bid is 10, lagi akong outbid onppexcept when i reach a certain amount. Then pansin ko bakit yung lahat ng items nya na ganun, when i bid on those, alging outbid except if i bid a particular high amt, which i presume is her minimum price.,.   Then yung bidder na laging nakaka outbid dakin, is just the same person. 

So tama ba, pinpataas nya yung price?

^ if you'll check the bidders ebay doesn't show the ebay IDs so there's really no way to find out if the seller is intentionally doing the "shill bidding" - which is bidding on their own items.

kase there are some buyers (mostly yung mga new ebayers yan) na they would bid talaga agad w/ the highest amount they're willing to pay for the item. esp if tamad sila mag-bid or if they know na di sila makaka-online ulit etc. kaya sometimes talaga it will appear as if pinapataas yung presyo when in fact masyado lang mataas yung maximum bid set by the previous bidder.

ako i'm fond din of buying sa mga low starting bids, but what i usually do is check the feedback first of the seller. coz given na yang shill bidding eh, di mawawala yang ganyan and usually happens sa ganyang klase ng auctions. if i notice sa feedback na never nagkaroon ng low winning bid, may suspicion agad haha, tapos i check the bidders, tinitingnan ko yung feedback score and bidding activity. the obvious shill bidding would be if 0 feedback yung highest bidder and if ang bidding activity nya is dun lang sa seller na yon. most sellers would just create an account for shill bidding. But of course, THIS ISN'T ALWAYS THE CASE coz meron naman talaga na new ebayers na 1 seller lang muna bibilhan (if you know what i mean). UNLESS the seller is smart enough to use an ebay account w/ feedback, and bid din sa ibang sellers.

you see, it's really next to impossible to prove a seller guilty of shill bidding coz there are ways to hide this activity.

what i suggest na lang is you report the seller for shill bidding and wait ka lang for result. minsan takes weeks, kapag nakita mong nawalan yan ng listings, ibig sabihin canceled lahat ng listings nyan dahil ebay proved na he/she's doing shill bidding. i think they're using the ip address to check if same lang may ari ng bidder/seller. unless smart pa din si seller not to use both accounts w/ same IP:)

I bet these items you're bidding on are branded cosmetics? Mabilis talaga mag increase ang price pag starting bid is P10 because a lot of people bid on it and they put their maximum high bids already. Although I have noticed a seller who seems to sell a lot of these items every week pero konti pa rin feedback. Now why is that? Hmmm...

@happy_pomelo same here Sis. Although I am in a trial stage still, I had this buyer who bid and gave her
contact details for the shipping pa and by the time it's payment details na, no replies. As in I am doing the effort to call and text her. Kung di ko pa sya tinawagan hindi ko malalaman na ito palang si buyer nagbago isip. Sana nagreply na lang siya agad para narelist ko yung item ko at may bumili naman na matino. I did raise this issue sa Customer Support. Ewan ko lang kung may mangyayari. Kasi kung di sila sigurado sana wag na sila mag 'bought the item'. Pasaway mga buyer na ganun.

For ebay sellers, turn on or enable your Unpaid Item Assistant tapos dapat 4 days (or whatever no. of days you prefer). So that after 4 days, if the buyer doesn't pay you (or worse, doesn't even contact you at all), you can open a case sa Unpaid Assistant and they will be given 4 days more to pay for their item. pag wala pa talaga after 4 days, you can close na your case (you have to do it manually unless you enable automatic) and then relist your item. May negative mark pa yung buyer (although my tip is you leave a negative feedback as well before closing the case). After closing the case, they can't leave you a negative feedback pa.  And for sellers who have automatic filtering against certain buyers, like BLOCKING buyers who have unpaid marks (cases), they won't be able to bid at all on the items. Helpful siya. Although these people can bid again after a month though.

Ast to the shill bidding in ebay,  pwede kasing not same ip, pero still related. Syempre ni career ko ang listing nya for 2 products, talagang may shill bidding. Now nacu curious lang ako what  has to say on this. I gave a detailed report, pati yung completed listings for the same product i also mentioned the item numbers.

Oohh.. I know what u mean, soeone on ebay is selling guerlain meteorites. Lately pansin ko parang suspicious na yung buyers nya.

I was ableto sell someclothes to a buyer who didn't bother to leave a feedback.  Fine, ok lang.

However, I saw that she's reselling the items she bought using my photos and description.  I notified eBay but they asked me to call their customer hotline.  Hassle lang... 

Any ideaas what else I should do?
