^ really sis? I've been curious about using vco for my face. I use jojoba oil kasi.

Once I used vco for my body, medyo maanta siya the next morniing. Or if i use it during the day, nagiiba smell niya in the afternoon. So I stopped. I'm really curious about using it on the face though

mga sis, pinakamagandang night lotion for the face ang VCO. I was explicitly told it is best, but for a time I also hesitated to use it kasi nga may amoy. Then when my sis-in-law said it really was better, I tried it one evening. (The trick is to put very little; to spread it on the face really thin before going to bed, so that you don't soil the beddings nor smell much.) The next day when I rinsed my face, I distinctly felt my skin was softer. Prior to that I was using Oil of Olay every night. So, goodbye Olay.

Ice cream from the Coconut House Q.C circle, "Savor A Mi" yun yung tawag sa ice cream nila. Lactose-Free and contains virgin coconut oil. If i'm not mistaken it's around 180pesos. So far so good okay na okay siya sa diet at lifestyle ko right now :D .

Since tumitigas to when you put it in the ref, naglagay ako sa maliit na cylindrical container. I only apply it sa body every few times.

Since matigas sya, para syang balm and I'm able to apply it thinly. Love it.

i use any brand as long as its unscented. no problem naman. ewan ko kung comedogenic.

i used to have problematic skin - verrry prone to pimples. and insects love to bite me pa. it was not VCO that fixed my skin totally but diet change.

insects pala love the blood of people who love sweets. so... cut down on sweets: no softdrinks at all, avoid fructose syrup and white sugar compleletely, take wheat bread instead of white bread, less cakes and ice cream... T'was very hard to do, what with my sweet tooth.

dryness of skin din ang problem ko. skin pala dries up with any of this: too much sugar, too much salt, acidic blood (too much carbs & protein).

lordknight, try mo mag-low salt low sugar diet. each meal one serving lang of rice and whatever protein. eat plenty of fruits and vegies. definitely your skin will improve.

VCO is just to help. helps your liver remove fat around it. helps your face lock in the moisture at night.

hungrydevil, two important things:
1. it is dangerous to take VCO continuously. the liver loves it too much, and gets lazy when it can have VCO very regularly. since your immune system is tied up with the liver, a lazy liver will make you more sickly. the general dosage is one tablespoon (after every meal) for three weeks. stop for three weeks. resume the cycle until your poop is not dark anymore. but that's just general dosage. what each person really needs varies, and only a natural healer can tell you that.
2. taking VCO does not weaken your appetite. it cleans your liver but does nothing on your hunger.

abbey, i suppose it's good for the hair. esp for dry hair. i haven't used it for my hair since i already tend to be oily. noong unang panahon naman talaga, coconut milk was nature's shampoo. by the way, i met a spanish lady years ago who used coconut shampoo for the first time when she was here in manila. she loved it! she said no shampoo in spain could leave her hair as well as our coconut shampoos do. worried pa s'ya, when she was going back to spain.

Hi! I'm not in the Phils but gusto ko magpabili ng coconut oil na pang luto like frying, deep frying, etc.  Ok ba yung mga virgin coconut oil, or are they too expensive to use for frying? What about yung mga Minola(meron pa ba nito) yung mga nag solidify pag cool temperature...are they considered pure coconut oil too?

(Im thinking of doing the Paleo lifestyle)

^ most ng labeled na vegetable oil na nasa opaque bottle or container, vegetable oil halos lahat. But you can always check sa ingredients list.

Yung marca leon ata expeller pressed.

i am using it sometimes for cooking. but i could not completely replace canola and peanut oil and olive oil.

also i used coconut oil when i had excessive hair fall. pansin ko naglessen yung nalalagas na hair ko. sana lang talaga tama yung obserbasyon ko.

since its winter time where i am right now, i used it too tapos body butter. it helps keep me warmer. haven't used it in my face yet although i remember my mom using it to remove her make up. pansin ko mukha ng mom ko noon, wala pang wrinkles at 55 (baka sa genes lang hehe. i am not making a claim.)

I always have VCO sa house, I usually mix it with my chocolate or coffee in the morning. Sometimes I put a teaspoon pang top sa ice cream LOL para medyo feeling healthy, ok naman kasi nagiging solid siya para lang may layer ng ice yung top.

@july26 thanks for info I didn't know na di rin maganda matagalan mag take ng vco. I started taking it nung biglang sumikat ang VCO years ago until now but buti nalang niro-rotate ko yung mga supplements ko. I will be starting with my vco again next week kc nag green barley naman ako nitong october...

Share ko lang sa may mga pets. I give my dogs vco paminsan minsan, mixed in sa food nila. May one time kasi years ago na yun I was putting it in my coffee tapos parang bangong bango sila LOL so nagpatak ako sa palm pinaamoy ko nagunahan sila dilaan. I asked my vet about it sabi niya ok lang naman daw paminsan-minsan. My oldest dog is 10 years old now ang likot parin di halatang senior na siya maski physically I believe maganda talaga effect ng vco sa kanila.

i used VCO and left it on my hair for 11 hours. When I rinsed it off with shampoo, andaming nalagas na hair. Has anyone experienced this?
