Has anyone tried this as a supplement? I've read that there are a lot of benefits in the intake on VCO.  :)

kami dati umiinon nito, kaso nung naubos, nakalimutan ng bumili. ok naman, nakakaboost ng energy, lalo na kung medyo not feeling well. sa store ni cory quirino sa greenhills kami bumibili. and before, may coconut shop sa may loyola heights, forgot the name lang. when we went back, nagsara na sila. ewan ko lang kung san sila nagtransfer.

Hmmm... Maybe instead of taking it in, pwedeng sya na lang gawing cooking oil. Many of the vegetable oil sold in supermarkets are really coconut oil when you check the ingredients.

I switched to expeller-pressed coconut oil cooking oil.

Para hindi na kelangan i-take sya deliberately, kasi part na ng diet.

Marca Leon yung akin, and it comes in an opaque light green bottle.

3 yrs akong nagtake nito. liquid form. super pumayat ako. nakakawalang gana after taking this. feeling ko nasusuka ako. anyway, i had to stop kase tumaas cholesterol ko. too bad.
doctor said kahit daw nakalagay na 0cholest, meron pa rin daw. depende siguro sa tao.

Last time I bought VCO was Grace brand from ABS Herbs, and when I opened the bottle the oil was smelled rancid! As in, nakaksuka talaga yung amoy so I just threw it away. Can any of you ladies recommend a brand? Preferably one that taste fresh and good?

I like taking VCO with hot chocolate. This is how I prepare my hot chocolate:

1 square Ricoa Baking Chocolate, finely chopped or grated (this is the best for me. Just pure chocolate, no substitutes, no additives)
1 Tbsp VCO
1 Tbsp Heavy Cream (optional for those who don't like this)
1/2 to 3/5 cup of hot water (depending on how thick you want the chocolate)

Heat the VCO until it is just warm -- do not overheat or you will burn the chocolate.
Remove the VCO from heat and add the chocolate. Whisk until melted. If the VCO cools before the chocolate is melted return to heat but ONLY 3 SECONDS at a time,. It's critcal that you don't burn the chocolate.
Add the hot water and heavy cream. (For those who don't like heavy cream you can add hot milk instead of the cream and water). Return to the heat and whisk until almost boiling.

Add your flavoring - I like chilli pepper or vanilla -- and add your sweetener to taste along with a pinch of salt. My preferred sweetener is Stevia because I cannot have sugar.

sis lagi ko 'tong ginagamit bago matulog. soft and smooth sa face at mabilis magpagaling ng pimples ko. after 2 days wala na ang pimples... marks na lang pero mabilis din makapag lighten ng pimple marks.
