When and where was your last trip and how was it? (Thread3)

Yesterday, we went back to Paris and Brugge over the weekend.  It was fun coz we were a big group but it was tiring.... Discoveries over the weekend, travelling to Paris and using their metro when you have a baby using a buggy is not a good idea, we never did this before but we thought we'll be able to save time from traffic and finding very precious parking spaces in Paris so we took the metro... boy, that was a mistake, Paris metros are not buggy friendly.

I went to Calaguas Island last month with my girl-kadas. We stayed there for 3 days 2 nights. I loved how clean the beach is. If beach lang habol nyo, this would be a good substitute for boracay and it is way cheaper at that. Wala din electronics and you sleep at tents. If you can't survive not using the internet or cellphone for a day, then this trip is not for you

All in all, Calaguas is a good place to just relax and get away from all the city life.

I got home last Sunday from my KL-SG trip. It was fun. Pero mas naenjoy ko ang KL. Although city din sya, may essence of being vintage kasi. And ang gaganda ng infrastructure.

Germany - work related kaya di na nakapasyal masyado. Pero it is a very lovely place.

Paris (2nd time) - lovely and sunny, although the Eiffel Tower has lost its appeal to me because of all the vendors and snatchers roaming around it

Madrid - Royal Palace looks very old/antiquated, not as opulent as the Buckingham Palace

Toledo, Spain - very rustic! a small town rich in history, feels very vintage

I learned a lot from this trip, and true nga yung nabasa ko sa blogs na iba yung charm ng Bali, their beaches is not as good compared to ours, pero may something sa Bali na gustong mong balikan  Magical Bali

Penang, Malaysia (2nd time around),  this time we stayed in Batu Ferringhi, beach is not for swimming dahil sa mga jellyfish, but we enjoyed the resort (Shangri-la).  Over the weekend lang kami and saglit lang pero nag-enjoy ako sa hotel

Beijing.

Bilang nag solo ako, nag join ako sa group tour. Dami ko nakilala na bago kase sa tour, isang bus kami na iba't ibang lahi. Tapos sa end ng trip para kaming family. aliw!

 Ang ganda ng China infairness or baka emo lang ako kase "first" trip ko 'yun na mag isa lang ako.

Pangalawang akyat ko na sa Great Wall pero this time sa Mutianyu na. Nag buwis buhay akong sumakay sa Chair Lift tapos sumakay ako sa Tobaggo ride. sarap! It was all worth it.

We went to Singapore last month. We loved it there! We will go back on January before school will start.

International ba or Domestic? If International, matagal na. Japan pa and it was super saya. Babalik ako soon kapag may ipon na ulit. hehe. Domestic naman na hindi work related, Surigao del Sur to see the Enchanted River and Tinuy-An Falls. Sobra pagoda kaya buti na lang may sasakyan na nag service sa amin. Pero commute lang kami from Butuan to Hinatuan. =)

went back to Pinas 1st week of this month and there really is no place like home   super saya, food and shopping trip galore talaga ako whenever I go back home.  plus, it was my mother's birthday kaya mas masaya pa.

Hong Kong. And it was my 2nd time there.. sarap ng foods and ang bilis ng 4G nila ha. kaya lang nakakapagod magcommute doon lakad dito lakad doon... Next target namin ay Japan or SK hehe

Haven't gone anywhere outside of the Philippines since 1996, but it's all right. I've had a lot of fun trips around the country. Last May, we visited my sister and niece in Metro Manila (we live in the province, in Mindanao), and it was a lot of fun, as always. It's always fun when you're with family! It was also a celebration for my Dad's birthday. Ten days wasn't enough because I wanna go back there already.

Last July, my friends and I went to Iligan City and went waterfalls hopping. One of our stops was Tinago Falls, a hidden beauty with I think almost 500 steps. It was a really refreshing experience even if we took time going back up the really, really long stairs! Our last stop was Maria Cristina Falls. It wasn't our first time there, but I still felt the same kind of excitement I felt when I first saw the majestic falls some years ago. Maria Cristina Falls is one place every adventure lover & traveler should go to!

Last vacation I did was with my parents and the family of my sister.  We went to Malaysia and Singapore before going back to Pinas.  Manila to Kuala Lumpur yung first flight namin, then went to Penang, Malacca and then Johor Bahru. Tapos from Johor Bahru just took a taxi to go to Singapore. From Singapore na kami nagtake ng flight to go back to Manila. Masaya na nakakapagod kasi full sobra yung schedule namin most of the time. Pero in between we had some down time kasi senior citizens na din parents namin.

Malaysia, Cambodia and Thailand for the past 3 months. Di naman sunod-sunod. a long weekend every month in each country. Best was Cambodia. Angkor [textspeak!] bucket list checked!
