hi, purple_girl, I think I know which company you're talking about There will still be a yoga program this year but they are still working out the kinks. Hopefully sometime this month there will be 2 classes a week for each of the office locations. 25 people per class will be accepted, first come first served.

^ I heard good reviews sa beyond yoga. I inquired sa alabang branch nila may 50 % off daw on first class to serve as trial.

Im beginning to like yoga. I tried bikram once last year di ko na inulit kasi I didnt like the pagod and sore feeling after.tapos I tried asana last week naku hirap nanaman ako. I gave it one last try and siguro since magaling yung teacher and I was able to do some of the poses ng maayos parang nagustuhan ko sya. Now I plan to take one yoga class a week to compliment yung plana forma classes I take.

I also plan to buy my own yoga mat. Mga 1k max sana ang budget meron bang ganun? The ones they sell sa studio kasi 2800 ang mahal jade yoga.

^ Jade is a popular brand in the States. Heard good things about it. My first ever yoga mat was a Danskin with pink zebra print. It cost PHP 990. I won't recommend it because it got a bit slippery after a couple of months. I now have a Manduka Black Marvel Pro, which I still haven't used because I'm on a yoga break. I think if you're serious about getting into yoga, a good reliable mat is a must. Think of it as an investment.

I got my Manduka Pro mat from Certified Calm. Very good investment.

Hello sis. sorry medyo di pa ako kasi ganun ka familiar sa mga types of yoga. I go to Plana Forma studio kasi and there they have this class called forma asana. para syang intro to yoga. i plan to take 3 more classes muna then I'll level up na.

@mlacsamana I go to Beyond Yoga at Tomas Morato. It's a great place, friendly ang mga tao. You can try Vinyasa 1 and Universal Yoga if you are a beginner.

^ I saw a couple of decent ones at Landmark for P1200 (Danskin and another brand that comes with a cute bag).

YogaRat P1700 at Planet Sports.

There are more pricey and better quality ones by actual yoga brands and they go for at least P3k (Manduka, Gaiam) at Certified Calm or Aura Athletica.

Nike also at P3k+ and a cheaper variety at P1900.

Adidas P1700 I think.

i practice yoga at yoga+ ortigas almost everyday. almost 1 year na since nagstart pero til now di pa rin ako nakakapag headstnd on my own... but it was fun...and addicting..
