^ Try and try everyday, that's what made it possible for me :)

I find that learning to get into headstand (Sirsasana A) is like riding a bike, your body won't forget it once nakuha mo na. Tripod is a different story because it requires more core strength.

Coupled with healthy eating I think yes. Nabasa ko sa blog ng igobeyondyoga.com one of their yoga students lost 50 lbs in less than a year.

Anyone here who do antigravity?  Di ba nakakahilo yung nakasuspend ka? May first timer package kasi akong nakita. Good deal since 50% off yung 3 sessions.

@tough_chic: Before my first month in Bikram ended, I'm already thinning out. I thought ako lang nakakapansin but my instructor would point it out to me on a daily basis. Payat na ko to begin with so medyo alarming ito =)) Mas na-tone yung braso ko so mas lalong payat na siya ngayon. Tapos the area above my chest, mas lalong pumayat din. Funny kasi I didn't feel weak at all, if anything I feel more toned and stronger. Around this time din I started juicing vegetables so baka nakatulong.

Hi, I'm planning to enroll in yoga (Gentle Flow). How often should I practice?

My goal is to lose weight, tone my muscles, and meditate :)

thanks!

^ The closest studios I can think of is Surya Yoga http://www.suryafitnessyoga.com/ along Buendia and Yoga+ Makati http://yogaplus.ph/ at Salcedo.

Maybe the others here know of more near your area.

Hi mga sisses sa Urban Ashram ako nagyoyoga dito sa makati, merun din sila sa Brixton at BGC, okay sya nakakapagod habang ginagawa mga routines pero after that so refreshing sa pakiramdam nakakawala ng stress, though goal ko is mabawasan ng weight and magtone mga muscles  ;D

Who's into Yoga?  wanna try this sana.. san ok mag yoga near market market? and would you guys happen to know how much..thanks..=)

There's Beyond Yoga in High Street and Urban Ashram in Active Fun building near market market. Yoga+ is a bit farther from market market though. I used to go there before.

I practice in Beyond Yoga in Alabang at least 5 times a week. Variety is the key so you won't get bored. I practice mostly Vinyasa (Flow), but there are times that I do Ashtanga and Yin Yoga just to balance it all.

Been attending classes at Oasis Yoga Studio along Capitol Hills Drive. They offer Hatha, Vinyasa Flow and Ashtanga classes. I gotta say I'm loving Ashtanga. Iba rin yung pawis pagkatapos at hanep rin sa pagbuild ng arm strength.

I took Yoga class as PE when I was in college. Yeah, we have yoga as PE. Haha. I still practice once in a while to tone my muscles. I'm not a hardcore yogi though. The relaxing effect is actually what drives me most of the time to do yoga. Anyway, there are mobile apps you can download out there which can serve as your yoga coach. Just a suggestion  :)

yoga is very good if you want to relax, stretch, and you want to free your mind from stress for some time.
