I've tried the 1 week promo of Bikram Yoga in makati, everyday talaga present ako, at first masakit sa katawan pero it's worth naman..i lost few pounds kaagad..and kahit di kana magpa-massage after..tinuloy ko na lang sa bahay using videos..kasi ang layo din ng location..i live in manila kase..

been wanting to try yoga..i live in makati and i work a few blocks from Bikram Yoga Makati. i might try their 1week first timer package. naiintimidate lang ako kasi wala ako kakilala and wala ako mahanap na makakasabay. parang nakakahiya mag isa lalo na for first timers..

sis how much dito? thanks. check ko tong sa congressional malapit, lapit to samin.

Sorry for the late response. At Brewing Point 400-500 drop-in rate but I think they still have this package where you can use it for their Zumba class too. As for that of Batrington's, it's 350 a session but call them up to confirm.

^Where is Batrington's?

Also, has anyone practiced at the Chi Spa in Shangrila Mall? How was it?

So happy to share that I finally tried yoga last week! Vinyasa! Whew! Intense but hindi naman pala intimidating. Perception lang pala. Once you're all in the studio, it's all about you and how you focus na. Everyone's equal na.

I can't wait to sign up na for Bikram Yoga. I'm gonna get a package na. With my busy sched though, mukhang weekends lang kaya mag yoga..

Hi sis, nice to hear that you've tried it already. you'll get in love with the Bikram yoga more. :)

Btw, there is an ongoing promo of unlimited 15 days yoga in Dealgrocer.com you might want to try it.... The studio is located in Brixton St. Pasig city Near pioneer mandaluyong na rin I don't know how to go there though. :D

^where specifically in Bulacan do you reside? if San Jose del Monte, you may want to consider gym-based Yoga practice like the group class being offered at Fitness First in SM Fairview.

^^^ oh sorry, I won't be of help with that.

^^ they hold Yoga classes apart from other group exercise classes. The type of yoga being practiced varies with every gym branch. But typically, they have gentle and dynamic yoga classes, whereby the latter is more oriented to intermediate-advanced yogis/yoginis. And from my experience with having gone to different yoga studios, they're not as critical with observing and teaching the proper execution of poses which heightens susceptibility to injury, esply for the beginners. Ang laki kasi ng studio and there, usually, are so many attendees that the instructor is barely able to address beginners individually. I suggest you attend a session from a Yoga studio for starters before proceeding to a gym-based class.

^ try inviting a friend who's curious enough to give it a shot :) tell him/ her kahit 30 minutes lang it will be enough. If he's a guy, show him a pic of Adam levine or Robert Downey. Both men are very much into the practice. Pag girl, Jessica Biel shld do the trick.

anyone from here who has tried the much-publicized Anti-gravity Yoga? How did you find it?
