^ These days, Yoga Plus is always packed na daw, so come early so you can save a spot.

If it's your first time, you might not have the correct posture alignment, but it will get better over time. :) If you can't do the pose, don't force yourself, instead you may want to try the modifications given by the instructors, if there are any. Rest in child's pose if you need to. I believe they also give a briefing to first-timers.

Yoga plus is such a lovely studio, with good facilities.  You must come early, some instructors don't allow students to come in late.

Hi sissies, share din ako :D

After almost a year, I'm taking Bikram Yoga classes again! I feel like a first timer and I'm even worse than before because I can't hold the poses long enough na. :(

@YsABeLVeNuS,
If you're going to take classes at Valero, you can bring your own stuff and water or rent out towels and mats. Ok naman ang treatment nila for first timers, they don't really expect you do to all your poses well and you can rest if you need to. Try the one-week unlimited first and see if you'll fall in love with it. :)

i'll start my with my yoga classes on monday at yogaplus.  i need to complete at least 2 classes per month para di ako ma-blacklist sa yoga program ng office. sana kayanin ko. i'm a first timer and di talaga athletic person.  i'm planning to follow the following schedule:

monday - 6:30 AM or 6 PM
wednesday - 6:30 AM
thursday - 4 PM
friday - 5:30 PM

super crowded kaya yung studio ng ganitong sched? kakahiya kasi at i'm expecting na marami akong bloopers. hahaha....

anybody here tried doing the yoga dvd's of Wai Lana?

http://www.wailana.com/

Haven't tried any other yoga but what she teaches. solve na ako sa kanya  :)
she has a way of teaching na hindi ka maprepressure, wholesome siya and plus you can do it at the comfort of your home. she has for beginners, intermediate and advance, fun challenge, meron pang pilates. she even has for kids  ;) my daughter has her karaoke cd and coloring book  ;D

Yesterday I did the strengthening one. sarap talaga magyoga uli. tagal na i haven't done it.

hmmm, I've tried ashtanga and bikram yoga. Of the two, I find bikram more difficult because of the heated room. Wala naman atang yoga/exercises na hindi mahirap sa simula. :)
