Di na ko uulit sa lola mamang's, ever! Yung party ng anak ko yesterday started at 2:30, the waiters and the food arrived at the venue at 11am and nilapag lang nila dun sa driveway ng venue yung food and the silverware, plates and glasses! They cleaned it up naman, pero they used a long white tela na feeling ko gagamiting pang cover ng buffet table. They used the same cloth for the plates, silverwares and glasses, all 120 sets. After nila maglinis nakatunga na lang sila dun until 2:30. During the party kailangan pang iremind yung waiter in charge to serve the drinks and refill the glasses, mga 2x or thrice ako nagremind. lahat nakatunganga kay jollibee (we got jollibee to entertain the guests). Sobrang tinitipid nila yung pagserve ng food sa guest, as in. Nagreklamo na yung mga kamaganak and other guests kasi nga kakarampot yung binibigay (like sa chicken cordon bleu, 1-2 pieces lang, then sa pork dish 2 slices lang). The banana cream pie looked like baby food. At dahil ang aga nila dumating super lamig na nung food and yung dessert room temp na lang. May waiter din pala na mega text while serving the food. Ilang beses ko na nilapitan sa may bar, wala dedma lang. ang super nakakainis, naubusan kami ng food and to think na good for 110 persaons yung inorder ko and mga 70 or 80 lang yung dumating. my tita asked if nasan yung ibang food, ang sabi daw sa kanya yun lang yung food na dala nila. Yung pamangkin ko nagsabi na may nagbabalot na daw sa plastic ng food dun sa ilalim ng table while ongoing yung party. Then yung mga waiters kinuha nila yung tirang jollibee na food and hindi pa tapos yung party lahat nandun sa ilalim ng buffet table at kumakain! Medyo uminit na ulo kopero sabi ni hubby hayaan na lang daw. Papakainin ko naman sila, pero patapusin naman muna yung event and wait hanggang kumonti yung mga tao tsaka magpaalam if kukuha sila ng food, yung staff ng jollibee pinakain ko rin after the party sana naghintay na lang yung mga waiters na ayain ko sila to eat... tuloy maraming kids na gustong magtake home ng extra jollibee food, nagtantrums yung isa kong guest with developmental delay nung pagbalik nya sa may buffet table wala ng chickenjoy eh sabi ko kuha lang sya sa table kasi maraming extra, pwede syang magtake 2 sa food if he wants to. eto pa pala, nung pinabalot na ng tita ko yung food, 2 maliit na plastic lang ng pasta and pork at sandamakmak na sauce yung binigay. yun lang daw yung tira. Feeling ko inuwi nila yung nasa ibang trays na hindi naiserve, siguro yun yung pinaplastic nila habang nag eenjoy kami sa party. Ang mali ko lang di ko nadouble check dun sa mga waiters yung mga binalot na food to take home. Sa ibang caterers kasi wala naman akong naging problema with the left overs, sinisimot talaga nila yung laman ng mga trays so we could take it home. I called up Judy to report about their lousy waiters ang sabi lang nya chineck naman daw nya yung bags nung waiters wala naman daw inuwi na food and kakausapin daw niya yung waiters re: paghkuha ng food ng di nagpapaalam.may guests din ako who are planning their children's binyag and birthday party, dismayado with the service. they will get our balloon decorator, venue and our contact sa tables and chairs but not the caterer. haist!
