Duty is a degrading term naman. It's just one of the ways to show that he loves and cares for his wife. It's not an obligation as well.

When I learned how to drive, hinde ko na ine-expect na ipag-drive ako ni hubby.

Pero nung nanganak na ko and I went back to work, ako na nag-drive mag-isa hahaha.

No. But you can make it his.

Seriously, IMO you dont want your hubby to be there always.. There will be times when you want to be independent of him.

Actually no, but if he insist of driving you then let him.

When I was pregnant, he insist of driving me around, kahit saan ko gusto.

I dont obliged my husband to drive me around, it somehow makes me feel independent sa kanya.

Mag drive man or mag commute man ako, carry ko! :)

If you have separate cars, ano ang point nun if you can't drive yourself? Or if you don't know how to, you should get your own driver.

Edited to add: For situations nga na sick or pregnant or hindi kaya mag drive. Siyempre. Pero if normal days lang, hindi. Pero halimbawa, gusto mo ipagdrive ka kasi you have to do something and wala naman ginagawa si hubby, oo naman. He might as well accompany you. IMO.

So if he does not drive you, he does not love the wife :|

Pinoy kasi eh. So ganto palagi ang thinking. Same as sa thinking na dapat si husband lang ang provider. Pero seriously if you have your own car and you know how to drive why would you oblige your husband to drive for you? Benta mo na lang car mo hehe

I know someone, lagi syang nagcocomplain na di man lang daw pinagdadrive ng stepdad niya yung mom niya sa umaga when her mom goes to work. Ang scenario, the stepdad kasi nasa bahay lang naman and yung wife lang yung nagwowork (they have a couple of businesses).

But, again, if you have your own separate car, pareho kayo may work, and both of you know how to drive, DON'T oblige your husband to do it for you :D

no, it's not a husband's duty to drive for the wife.  pero I'm very much appreciative na ipinadrive ako ng husband ko kahit na I know how to drive.

No.  (We women demand equality and yet we want our man to drive us, to pull the chair for us, etc.) It`s not the husbands duty but it`s sure is a nice gesture-- I would appreciate if my man will drive me.

no it's not the husband's duty na ipagdrive si wifey lalo na kung may own car naman sya...eh bakit pa sya bumili ng "own car" kung gusto naman din pala nya magpa-drive kay hubby!

BUT, if and ONLY IF, wala naman work si hubby at nakatambay lang sa bahay, then it would be best to drive her wife nalang!! beep...beep... ;D

i think so. ex ako, i dont drive. we have 4 drivers, pero im only comfortable if si hubby ang mag drive sakin. although minsan pag may conflict sa sched, tiyaga ako driver nalang...

No, but I appreciate it if he would. We only have 1 car sa bahay at yun ang ginagamit nya everyday when he goes to the office. Everyday, he insists na ihahatid nya ako at susunduin, what i do is pag nagkataon na yung client ko on the way naman or medyo maiba lang ng konti ang route nya, I let him. Pero if let's say i'm assigned in Makati, while his office is in Eastwood, no na lang, commute na lang ako. Hassle na kasi for him, magastos pa sa gas. Pero pag-uwi, he makes it a point na dun sya dadaan sa dinadaanan ng bus na sinasakyan ko pauwi, para pagbaba ko, he's there na at sabay na kami. Pag my night-out ako with friends, sometimes I ask him to pick me up, pero most of the time uwi ako mag-isa.

I'm trying to figure out kasi if it's a husbands obligation to be a chauffeur.

What about work related tulad meetings and company events? Dapat ba pag-drive ng husband ang wife? (wife knows how to drive and has her own car)
IMO, no! pag sinabing duty edi driver na yon.

hmmm... U tell me. hehe  :-\
Before when we're using our old car (manual), he always Drive for me. Hatid-sundo nya ko sa ofis even antok na antok pa [textspeak!] kasi we're in a different shift sched. But now, when we bought our new car, I enrolled for driving lesson and already got driver's liscence, mejo napapansin ko na ako nalang lagi ngssundo sakanya sa ofis and ngddrive ako mgisa pauwi. Mas type nya mgcommute pag sleepy pa [textspeak!] >:( Balikstad no? hehe Pro hinahatid nya ko xempre pag d [textspeak!] antok.  ;D

But it's ok. I enjoy driving. Give and take lang naman. Don't use the word DUTY nlng [textspeak!] para lahat happy :-D

Honestly no. It is a plus if he drives for me but I know its not his duty to drive me around if I want to go somewhere else. If you know how to drive, why cant you drive yourself specially nung di pa naman kayo mag asawa I am sure you drive yourself all the time. so why change the routine right? unless super pampered ka ng asawa mo and he can sacrifice his working hours so he can drive for you bongga ka. but i doubt it will ever happen
