Hi Sis curiouschellie, thanks for the reply. Yun nga kasi ang worry ko, bf is not into temple more on nature tripping kame and in search of good beaches. Been to Krabi and Phuket and masasabi ko mas maganda pa din sa Pinas. Need to do further checking muna bago mag book ng plane tix. thanks again

Hi Ladies, Just came back from Bali last Sat and I am super satisfied with what me and my friends did during the whole trip.

Yung mga places na gusto namin mapuntahan napuntahan namin laht. We didin't do too much temple run. kasi malalayo sila sa isat isa. 4 days is not enough to do them all.

But we are happy that our driver know na where to bring us and let us take our time roaming around never nya akmi minadali sa trip namin. Yes! I was able to hire Japanyoman as recommended by the girls here. Super bait and accommodating.

We hired him for 3days and he brought us to places from 9am to 9pm minsan sobra pa kami sa time. May naka ready na siyang itinerary but if you want change it okay lang sa kanya pwede siya mag adjust ng sa mga sights na gusto namin  puntahan.

 
We stayed in Ubud for 3days

Jan 28. Checked in at Tegal Sari-nice quite location. Our room is facing a  rice field pero paglabas mo ng hotel and walked sa main road puro restaurants na.

after resting we went straight to the center. Walked around the market, eat sa Oops restaurant. then we just decided to walked back to the hotel para madaanan namin lahat ng shops. Mind you sabi ng driver 15mins walk lang daw from market to the hotel pero inabot kami ng 1hr! hahahah kasi we stop nga sa mga shops to shop and look around.

Along the way we had dinner na rin sa Bebek Bingil for Crispy dirty duck for dinner.  looking from the out side kala namin ang liit lang ng place yun pala para itong hacienda. kaloka sa laki. =) Food is good in this place. highly recommended ng hotel.

Then we went back na sa hotel  around 10pm to rest and prepare for the next day.

Here's our itinerary.

Jan 29.

*pick up at hotel   * batubulan village
    (see traditional barong dance)
* art village   

* temple of batuan

* kintamani (volcano + lunch)- eat all you can dito with a view

* coffe  plant  - We met Anying here super nice girl. Coffee na enjoy ng mga kasama ko ng todo. Lemon tea i like!

* spring  temple Tirta Empul - super busy area bec malapit na dawa ng dark moon. so cleansing galore ang mga balinese friends natin.

* rices teracces - maliit lang ang area na to per okay lang

*  goa  gajah  temple.


Jan 30.

Check out Tegal sari and  went straight to
Visit the Ubud market again for some shopping
Palace visit

Bedugul - love this place. may kalayuan nga lang. pero gusto namin dito lalo na yung nearby market. habang nakikipaghaggle ang mga kasama ko sa fruits and goods na gusto nila bilhin,  kami naman ni Japa walang tigil ng tikim sa mangosteen, rambutan and mani  na tinda nung ale. Pagsakay namin ng kotse busog na kami may libre pa kaming isang balot ng mani. =P

Jati Luwih- rice terraces  love the view and I was able to shoot some good pics in this area.

Tanah Lot and waited for the sunset. Ganda!

Jan 31
Went to Turtle island
Uluwatu-

Padang padang  spent about 3hrs here swim and sun bathe di ganun ka ganda at kalinis pero inenjoy lang namin

Cheap Shopping for pasalubongs

Then off to Jimbara for dinner - A lot of girls dito sabi nga mahal ang food in this area pero magaleng si japa. Nagwarning na agad sa min. Sabi nya just order food that you can eat so no over order. Eh bilang magaling din sa kainan mga kasama ko ayun solve kami sa seafood and we just paid 45usd for the 4 of us. sinama na namin si Japa sa dinner. =)

di kami nakakakin sa beach front aksi biglang lumakas ang hangin at umulan naglipatana ng mga tao sa loob. =( But still solve kami sa food.

 We went back sa hotel mga 11pm na pero okay pa rin si japa no extra charges. Pero dahil mabait siya sa min we paid him extra.

Now I can definitely say if you want a good driver na aasikasuhin ka ng todo si Japa yun. =) Gusto ko na nga siya iuwi eh. hahaha

im torn between seminyak and kuta. I'm planning to go to bali this coming may. 5th year anniv kasi namin ni boyfriend. trip naming dalawa syempre magandang beach tapos trip naming mag food trip kapag gabi. di ko trip young masyadong tahimik na area. lakwatsera kasi ako gusto namin yung maraming kainan/bars na magkakatabi lang. parang boracay ang peg ;p suggestion? tsaka trip ko din pumunta sa temple. kahit isang temple lang. at least masabi lang ;p haha. budget ko hang gang 5k/night lang di na pwede lumagpas. mas okay sana kung mas mura siyempre kuta or seminyak? and si japanyoman ba is pinoy? how to contact him? tia girls HELP! :]

sis vhanya, January ka nagpunta sa Bali? based on my research kasi worst/rainy month daw ng Bali yung January. How was your trip? Maulan ba nung nagpunta kayo? and saan kayo nagstay? Initially we wanted to go to Bali for our honeymoon, but nung nalaman ko na maulan daw, nadiscourage na kami ituloy..

Yes we went to Bali last January. 1 day lang umulan and a few hours lang naman. We liked it nga coz it's not too hot

Hi, Kuta is like the party central and very commercial, I think Legian  and Seminyak is the better option, lapit lang naman lakarin papunta Kuta......you might want to stay kahit overnight lang sa Ubud, just to relax and walk around. It's better if you can hire a driver even for 1 day lang, para mapuntahan mo yung malalayong lugar, reasonable naman rates nila 400000-450000 IDR for 1 day(10hrs)

Actually, yan din pinoproblema ko a few days ago. I couldn't make up my mind kung san una pupunta, so what I did was to split it up - half ng stay namin sa Ubud then the other half sa Kuta ('cause it's nearer to the airport). 

Btw, has anyone here tried white water rafting in Telaga Waja? Are there any companies you could recommend? I like a good adventure trip every now and then, but I was a bit apprehensive 'cause when I read some of the reviews on Tripadvisor, sabi dun there were incidents of food poisoning and people falling off the boat and stuff.

may 18 - 21 kami ng BFF ko, super short trip tapos PAL pa, pangit ng oras. Anyone here na me same date sa amin?

Since midnight ng 19may na kami darating we'll just stay in an apartelle near the airport then do AM city tour then check-in at our hotel in nusa dua. Then the ff day, i want an afternoon ubud village afternoon tour, then flight back to manila sa madaling araw ng 21may.. hehe iniisip ko pa lang napapagod na ko  ok na rin

Here is the link for our guide in bali. www.transyasabali.com. The owner and tour guide is named merta wayan. You can look him up in facebook. If staying in ubud try to stay in tegal sari. Super nice and very affordable. If ur into parties then kuta is the place. But if ur a couple and enjoy cultural stuff ubud is a great place. Me and my wife spent a week only in ubud. Get lost and explore the shops and alleys in ubud. The food is amazing in ubud. Try the river rafting and canyoning. Avoid rafting during december. There is a soap factory in ubud that sells wonderful handmade soaps for under a dollar each. Its a secret so u just have to ask around. Even our guide had a hard time finding it. And if u do find it buy as many as u can. We bought 60 bars and it only set me back 4k php
