Just got back from Bali last Monday. Had a 2AM flight because we flew PAL, no choice
We went all out with our expenses in Bali, after all, it was a splurge vacation talaga. We didn't hold back on the comfort and luxury kaya medyo nakaka-guilty tuloy after =)) We stayed in Grand Inna Kuta Hotel at super love ko ang location ng hotel na ito! Perfect for first timers in Bali because it is strategically located in the heart of Kuta where shops, restos and coffee shops are. Ang laki din ng rooms ng Grand Inna Kuta. We booked two rooms, and one, I share with my sister. Ang laki niya for a deluxe room ah. Hindi tinipid sa space. Four persons can comfortably fit here, although bawal sneak in. They will charge you for added people but we did the latter on our first night

Pools here are great! Wish I spent more days swimming in the hotel but we had other plans. Had an inroom Balinese Massage too for P700 ata.
Their breakfast buffet though is something I don't look forward to. Sadly, I didn't get to enjoy Indonesian food. Parang ayaw ng sikmura ko.
Places we visited:
Bali Zoo- We hired a driver to go around Bali. We told him na we want to ride the elephants as per my sister's request. So he brought us here. Although maganda ang place, sooooobrang mahal ng entrance fee dito. Imagine, $63 each? We went through with the plan after discussing pero ang bigat pa rin sa loob na maglabas ng ganun kalaking pera. That's the cheapest package, by the way. You get to enter the Bali Zoo, ride the elephants and feed them afterwards. Then you can freely roam around the park all the day. I don't recommend this place only because ang mahal mahal niya. Do this kung soooobrang mahilig kayo sa zoos and you intend to stay here all day, otherwise just skip it.
Batubuan Temple- Good for photo ops
Tanah Lot- Can get crowded pero masarap pumunta kasi mahangin tapos malamig sa pakiramdam. Mga hapon na kami pumunta kaya pa-sunset na rin. You can also do a little shopping and eat here. Popular tourist spot siya.
Waterbom Bali - Highlight of my Bali trip! We walked from the hotel to get here. Entrance is $33 for a one day pass. Sulit ito. You can re-enter the park anytime you want. Sobrang saya!!! I really enjoyed the slides, lahat may thrill factor talaga except siguro yung Lazy River. The park is well-maintained, clean at organized. We went on a Saturday at medyo crowded pero we were able to comfortably make
tambay near the food shops and just chill in between slides and swimming. Everybody, from kids to adults will have something to do at Waterbom Bali kaya for sure lahat enjoy. Sinakyan ko halos lahat ng rides at kahit mababa ang thrill factor, may kick pa rin siya hahaha. We rented a family locker at kasya ang gamit naming apat.
Upon paying at the entrance, the lady will you give a bracelet of sort. Bale yun na yung entrance ticket mo which you can load with money to pay for food inside the waterpark. The lady suggested we put 500,000 rupiah. Then upon getting a locker, they will give another bracelet to wear. No need to carry around keys. So whenever you need to get something from the food stalls, scan mo lang yung bracelet sa cashier then you can go
Cool siya kasi no hassle! Parang kuha lang kami ng kuha ng food and drinks sa food court area pag gutom na
Food is very decent here! Mostly, we got snacks like pizza, fries, fish and chips, sodas and ice cream. Afterwards, slide na naman hahaha.
Same with photos sa mga slides, a photographer will give you another band. If you want to get the souvenir photo he took, just go to the souvenir counter and have that bracelet scanned and you're good to go
To check your money balance, there are balance checkers conveniently placed around the park. Simply scan the band. You can also add more money if naubos na. You can also refund your unspent money at the end of the day.
Nusa Dua - High-end shops + eateries. We didn't enjoy our experience here only because we think we can find all these in Beachwalk Mall and Kuta Square.
Beachwalk Mall - You can find Bershka, Topshop, Pull & Bear, Mango, Stradivarius here. We went here during the mall sale. Medyo pareho lang ng prices sa Manila.
Overall, my experience in Bali was very magastos. Haha. I bet others can do better. The Balinese are very warm and kind people. My mother didn't have a hard time haggling with the vendors as they are considerate of our price.
