All about balloon Decors and Supplier Thread IV

Hi sisses, i'm a newbie here. Just want to ask your opinion kung sino'ng okay na party planner - hi5, polkadots, party booster or kidstar?

My daughter's birthday is on Jan but I decided to prepare as early as now to book my preferred suppliers, get 2012 rates. I've read very good reviews about them pero I'm still confused. Why? Kasi matagal sila (hi5 and kidstar) magreply and it took months. Right now, no reply pa rin from our last conversation.. Hayy.. Well, there's a tinge of good news naman. I appreciate Jhoanne and Jacque because they replied as soon as they have time. However, my first option talaga preferred ko, either hi5 or kk, since they are tried and tested in the industry, I am at ease that they would exceed my expectation, although mas pricey sila, based on what I read here.

Anyways, thanks for taking your time to read and to help. If ever, can you share me the range of their packages? I would need venue decor, host, and food carts. And should I pursue the non-replying PPs or just move on?  Hayyy... sana meron na ako decision, I thought as early as April meron na ako na-start but until now wala pa.

nag email ako sa KK last march yata or april? i cant remember the exact   month..

nag reply sila agad sa akin wala pang 24 hrs pero ang sabi saken wala pa daw silang rate for 2013.. ang bday kasi ng baby ko is feb 2013.. sabi ko sa email kahit benchmark lang para alam ko and im willing to reserve naman asap basta malaman ko lang rates kaso after nun hindi na sumagot hindi na din  ako nag follow up i know they are one of the best sa industry so naisip ko malamang busy lang sila..

since sobrang makulit akong tao and gusto ko kasi nag rereply agad (hahaha sorry naman lol) , i get nalang a different venue stylist. The party studio kinuha ko..

Hi Sis Izabelle, ganun din naging experience ko sa KK. Busy nga siguro sila pero for me it is not an excuse, ano ba naman yung at most 5mins of your time para magreply. makulit and OC din ako eh haha.. i will get partyboosters kasi mas madali kausap si Jacque.

^ actually ako sis medyo na TO ako sa kanila kasi hindi na sila sumagot sa akin. sabi ko kasi kahit bench mark lang or tamang price range lang. alam ko naman magbabago pa yun.. just to give me some idea lang.. hindi naman siguro plus 100k next year yun BUT yun nga iniisip ko kasi nga one of the best sila so baka busy lang.

My experience with partycheers was great. kaya i'll recommend them. Ok naman mabilis ang reply pag may inquiry and [textspeak!] output nila maganda kahit di naman bongga ang budget when it comes to venue decor, mukhang bongga din naman daw ang party as per the feedbacks sa mga guests ko.

Thank you Sis! Sa Acropolis clubhouse. Don't worry Sis Krishaish, magiging successful yan. Feeling ko nga parang wedding preps din ang 1st birthday party. haha, as early as April naghahanap na ako ng suppliers ko, January pa next birthday ng baby ko.. Kaso matagal pala talaga magreply mga party planners.

I would have to agree with you sis na parang wedding preparation din ang 1st birthday and 7th birthday party.  Di naman ako ganito Kaaga nag-prepare sa eldest ko Way back 2007, but now grabe ang preparation ko.  Probably because my 2 other kids now appreciate birthday parties kaya excited din ako.  They were requesting for a lot of things such as kiddie salon and face painting from my eldest daughter and Ben10 mascot naman for my little boy.  Di ko nga alam kung pano ko isisingit si Ben10 sa party, since girl din yung youngest ko.

Re: balloon decors i was so amazed on how Jhoanne(polkadots events) styled the venue. It was so beautiful! i was speechless.. im also thankful because she's been very patient with me. grabe npaka fickle-minded ko kase sunday ang event saturday nagpalit pa ko ng color ng balloons. imagine that! hahaha! Im so blessed having Jhoanne as one of my supplier. We didnt hire them for full coordination pero inasikaso nya lahat talaga. I really recommend Polkadots events!

Hi mga mommies!  I got Mr. Balloonatix for my son's 7th birthday party on July 28, super bait kausap ni Jojo at inadjust nya lahat para ma-accommodate nya lang requests ko dahil sabi ko nga sa kanya, i do not plan to spend too much on balloon decors kasi mas priority namin ang food, he even suggested na pwede na rin namin i-request sa mag-cater sa akin na instead of flowers eh balloons na lang and table centerpieces ko, and above that may mga free pa siya idinagdag sa decor ko, sumobra nga ang time ng party ko, pero hindi nya ako charge ng overtime..... kaya very happy talaga ako

Im considering also KK, but got the same response, they dont have the rates yet for next year..but I still want to get her service if ever..i like her works..i've attended 1 party that she dressed up..

wow sis ang galing mo! ako kahit house party lang naka gastos din ako ng more than 50k, as of my last computation a little over 70k na, at d pa kasama ang ibang small details ng bday and to think budget pa yun, hehe

yep mga sis, nasa around 50k actually, may butal naman forgot how much. Mga affordable yet magagaling yung pinili kong suppliers.

^ oo nga sis,  galing mo mag-budget.   Initially yan lang din budget ko for the party.  Pero alam mo naman pag minsan umiral ang kaartehan nating mga mommies we tend to veer away from the original plan.

^ Hi Sis scents01! Yes, yes, yes!!! Sobrang nice pa ni Ivy, Sis! Pag kausap ko sya parang mag barkada lang kami and matagal ng magkakilala. I inquired with different balloon decor suppliers, pero the moment I inquired with her, na-feel ko talaga yung "this is it" factor! No joke! She did the venue dress up for my baby's 1st bday party last July 28 lang. Kita naman dyan yung venue dress up ko c/o Ivy of Gloomballoons.  Super love ko yung decors and ang mas super love ko is yung fact na super affordable talaga yung packages ni Ivy pero di mukang tinipid.

^ Yes sis, very generous si Ivy! Sa contract namin ang free ko lang dapat are the swags, pero few days before the event, magkatext kami ni Ivy, may surprise daw sya sa akin, hindi naman ako nag expect gaano sa surprise na yun kasi alam ko talagang nakamura nako sa package na binigay nya, but event day came, gulat ako na upgrade lahat! Nagkaron ako ng cluster balloons sa ceiling, yung welcome sign na nasa contract namin naging welcome arch, yung table centerpieces ko na upgrade din. Youll never go wrong with Ivy! Mas sikat ang Gloomballoons sa SP forum, dami good feedbacks sa kanya dun sis.
