arragalang - hi momy, unlike yung normal na ultrasound kapag CAS is mas matagal. mas mabusisi kasi tinitignan talaga ni OB/sonologist ang baby natin sa loob. kami dati parang almost an hour CAS.
28 weeks ata yung advisable. di ko narin masyado matandaan kung kailan ako nag pa CAS e.

hi sisses, nagpa CAS ako nun Sat sa New World sa SM north branch, P 1200 sa kanila...

baby boy ang aking angel at we're so glad na ok cya...ok din daw un weight nya sa age nya, at complete naman organs at extremities, thank God...

sis arragalang, most OBs recommend either during 24-28 weeks para daw complete na, kasi sis, bibilangin nila un mga daliri sa kamay at paa, kun complete, un mga organs kun meron lungs, stomach, kun complete un chambers ng heart...kun may spinal cord ba....kumbaga they are checking kun may obvious birth defect ang baby natin physically....

same procedure lang ng normal na ultrasound pero mas mahaba, it took me about 45 minutes unlike sa regular ultrasound na ilang mins lang....

hello everyone! first time mommy po and currently 19 weeks and 1 day pregnant..I'm scheduled for a CAS on February 27 and super nakakaba and worrying..kasi nagpa ultrasound ako last saturday, which is supposed to be a 3D scan kaso sabi nung sono d pa daw maapreciate since super early pa daw... then she told me na may choroid plexus cyst daw sa brain ni baby sobrang halos mangiyak ngiyak ako...bumalik ako sa OB ko after few days and told her about it, nag pa US ulit ako then the sono informed me wala naman daw sya nakita... worried pa rin ako

^Hi sis, isang sono lang ba yan? Basta always get a second opinion kung may something na abnormal na nakita. Kung kailangan kahit 3rd opinion pa. I hope your baby is alright sis, I can't tell you not to worry (kasi ako worrywart din at kahit liit na bagay nagwoworry ako basta may magcomment lang na kakaiba!) pero hindi ba ikaw pwede magpaschedule ng earlier CAS with your OB Sono? Kasi ang alam ko best time yan from 18-22 weeks? Feb 27 mga 24w ka na? Kasi I would think na di ka makakatulog niyan til the 27th.

No sis...bang sono to yung unang nag sono sa akin since first prenatal check up..sabi naman nung sono kahapon eh wala naman daw sya nakita nung sinabi ko na may nakita nga. US nung saturday is may nakita tapos nung monday wala naman daw sya nakita..sabi nya sa CAS nalang dn daw para d muna ako magworry ampf lalo tuloy ako nagworry but BF told me there is nothing to worry daw kasi nagresearch sya tungkol dun....and nakita na niya shape ng face ni baby nakuha tangos ng nose ko and malaki nyang tenga haha...but still sabi ko sa sarili ngayon pa lang nasasabi ko na wag naman sana ako nalang...

As far as I remember, best time for CAS is 18-24 weeks ata. 28 weeks is too late na daw for CAS. I think dito ko din nabasa yun. I've had my CAS on 20 weeks, kasi mas malaki chance na makita na gender nito. And true enough, nalaman na namin na boy. Pag girl daw, mas mababa ang probability na tama kasi baka nagtago lang. Kung boy naman kitang kita. Sa CAS binilang ang fingers and all, tiningnan kung may chance na may down, celft palate, kung tama ang pagtibok ng heart, pag develop ng kidneys, lahat lahat. Kaya sobrang nakaka kaba talaga ang CAS. haha but it was a lovely experience for me and thankful ako na okay ang baby ko.

We've had 3d/4d US naman at 28 weeks. Best time for 3d is 28-32 weeks para formed na. Good thing we've had it at the earliest possible time kasi medyo masikip daw si baby sa loob (I'm petite) and baka mahirap na daw makita pag malaki na kasi di na makakagalaw masyado. And true, this is only for entertainment purposes. although mine measure pa rin, basic things like kung tama size ng ulo, heart etc pero CAS is more in depth. But you really get to see the facial features in 3d!

Hello! I am currently on my 22nd week.. may request na ako for CAS pero ang sabe ng OB pang 24th week pa daw. eh di na ako makapag hintay. gusto ko next week na agad. pwede kaya kung going 23rd week pa lang ako?

Hello sis techy_mom, how was your CAS sa MAkati Med? I'm also considering din kasi MMC para magpa-CAS. 2d or 3d ba yung 3,100? and how was the whole experience? ok ba doctor ? Perinatologist?

Hi mga Sissies,

I'm up also for CAS on Thursday, mejo kinakabahan Akko mga sis kasi hung first Trimester nakainom ago ng gamot late ko ha kasi nalaman an pregnant ako. Dapat today ako magpapa-CAS kaso ang available a lang an time is 5pm, rush hour na so sabe ko Sa nagssched next week na Lang.

Okay din mga mommies paCAS sa new world diagnostics 1,200 lang pero isang patient per day lang kaya maaga ka dapat sa may taft pa yun, pinaCAS ako kasi 5 months na ako nagpaOb noon eh. Ang dami kong bisyo nung hindi ko pa alam na preggy ako noon.

Ako sis, Nurse kaya ang kinakatakot ko eh ang exposure ko sa mga sakit sakit. Madami pa naman kami cases ng measles and chicken pox nun. tsk kaya Goodluck sating lahat and pagdasal natin lahat ang mga future moms
