^As far as i know,the only known resto na may maraming nakapunta na artista and some manila politicians including GMA,its STK ta bai(sugba,tuwa ,kilaw--"sugba,tinola,kilawin tayo pre") at Orchid st. Capitol bale if you'll be staying around fuente area here in cebu,the nearest hotel na walking distance lang dito ay Hotel Stella(its widely recommended by our GT sisters na nakapunta ng cebu)...Actually maraming Hole-in-the-wall na resto here in cebu kaya lang hindi ganun' ka-accessible o madaling puntahan for non-cebuanos.

sis sdee! I don't know.. We went there kasi 12pm, dun kami dumerecho galing airport.. Sabi nila mabilis maubos yung lechon pero ang weird nga kasi ang dami daming lechon.. kahit yung flight namin pabalik, nakabili pa ng 3 boxes ng lechon eh mga 3pm na nun.. hehe!

btw, masarap ba sa Maribago Grill? Meron kasing may birthday sa grupo namin and we want to find a resto na ok for birthday dinner pero sa mactan area lang sana para malapit sa hotel namin. Masarap ba sa Maribago Grill? if not, any other reco na ok for a birthday celebration? tia sis

finally! tried Brian's Ribs at Casa Verde. pero nakitikim lang ako sa kasama ko. nawindang kase ko sa laki ng servings, definitely hinde ko talaga mauubos. ayos lang yung lasa nya at super solve nga sa price. order ko naman SouthWest salad. hinde ko rin naubos, nakakabusog sobra. tsaka ma-butter and medyo maalat sya for my taste. we also tried big chocolate milk shakes. sarrrrrappppp...

first night naman sa Larsian kami nag-dinner. medyo nagulat ako sa laki ng place, tapos pagpasok namin lahat sila nag-aalok ng place nila. wala kase masyadong tao. we ordered pork/chicken barbeque, chorizo, white salmon... sa salmon ako nag-enjoy ng husto. mura din tinda nila, paid 350 lang ata for the 5 of us.

was backreading and namiss ko bigla ang larsian! when our company when to cebu kumain kami dito eh. will have to bring hubby here when we go there next year

Hubby and I finally tried Zubuchon restaurant at One Mango Avenue. We had the time of our life. Sarap all the food we ordered. We had their pork fried rice which had a slight bagoong flavor and was mixed with zubuchon and manibalang mango bits, zubuchon dinuguan, squid stuffed with zubuchon sisig and the plain zubuchon lechon. Sayang lang hindi available that time yung specialty nila na kamias shake. Zubuchon now has three branches, the other two are near the Capitolyo and at the lobby of Islands Stay Hotel. The latter is very accessible from the airport specially if your flight will be arriving Cebu around lunch or dinner time. Diretso na kain dun. Yummy! We will definitely be coming back to try their other food items. Good luck diet!

Here are some of the restaurants na I've been to:

1. Ding Qua Qua- sa J.Y Square Mall, Lahug
- affordable yung buffet nila pero yung place is not spacious enough to accommodate more people.  Kung type mo magpakasawa na kumain ng siomai, pancit, shanghai rolls, buchi at lomaichi, then this is the place to be.  Yung crispy pata at lechon nila are masarap rin pagkaluto.

2. Nonki Restaurant - A.S. Fortuna Street, Mandaue City
- pina Japanese talaga ang theme nila tapos may babati pa sa iyong mga waitress na naka kimono and they will greet you in Japanese language. nakakatuwa lang! Gusto ko ang ambiance kasi may sarili kayong privacy if you occupy the separate room (nakalimutan ko ang tawag doon).  Yung food nila is masarap and tama lang sa budget pero may soup sila na nakakawindang ang presyo (para sa akin) that costs 1k! hahaha

3. Maya Taqueria and Tequila Lounge - Crossroads, Banilad Cebu
- ang mahal ng mga dishes dito pero they serve authentic Mexican cuisine.  I really love their Quesadilla Gringa, Carnitas Taco, burritos at Fajitas.  Yung atmosphere ay romantic at relaxing, plus the smoothing music adds to the lovely ambiance of Maya.

4. Anzani Mediterranean Restaurant - Panorama Heights, Nivel Hills, Gorordo Ave  Cebu City
- had the opportunity to dine in this place through my British friend who wants to have some fine dining.  The place is pang sosyal kasi fine dining eh.   Yung chef nila according to the info that I read is celebrated by the New York Times as one of the pioneer founders of “New Mediterranean Cuisine” .  The restaurant also offers al-fresco dining with an overlooking view of the city lights at night.   Sabi ng friend ko, their dishes are really authentic Mediterranean cuisine, eh ako waley eh basta all I know masarap food nila.

5. Kuya J Restaurant - 0394 Orchid St. Capitol Site, Cebu
- ang sarap sarap lang ng pagkain nila at sobrang affordable pa.  Their specialties include bake scallops, crispy pata, garlic cabbage at chili-garlic tuna.  Decent rin ang place nila at sobrang lamig sa loob.

6. Aranos - 31 Fairlane Village, Guadalupe Cebu City
- a hole in the wall eating place, they serve Spanish dishes.  Mura lang ang pagkain nila at yummy rin kaso yung outdoor dining nila is madaming lamok. LOL Sana they do something about it.

^I agree with Anzani. We reserved the place exclusively for our company event a couple of years ago. Great food paired with a good wine selection! Chef Marco, the owner/chef was very hands on during the event. You wouldn't go wrong if you dine here.

CNT Lechon super love ko din, compare dun sa ayer's ba iyon, yung nasa airport.

merun pa isa kaming nakainan hindi ko lang maalala kung [textspeak!] name nung resto( may sakit kasi ako nun) basta walking distance ito sa club ultima. hindi ko din nga natikman ang death by chocolate cake...

Miss ko na ang Brian's ribs ng Casa Verde. Nagcrave ako bigla kasi may ioopen na Mooon Cafe sa SM fairview, sana mapadpad din sa manila ang casa verde. haaay.
