 sa experience ko a month talaga sa osg, then kapag thru publication pa another 1month before the court will release the cert. of finality. Saken lumabas decision may14 last year, nakuha ko finality July15 na kasi publication kami. 1day lang process ko LCR where the court is and LCR where the marriage was held, sila na nag forward sa nso, bibigyan ka nila receipt ng LBC after 2-3days check mo sa NSO mag request kana Annotated Copy ng Marriage Contract mo, after 20days ang release, then ok na. Got married na last Nov

^ hi sis, what do you mean by publications? kasi i read from other forums, yung iba after one month naman daw naibigay din yung cert. of finality. so i think case to case basis?

hello sis,

 ibig ko sabihin sa publication eh, sa newspaper namin nilagay ang summons kasi hindi ko na alam saan sila nakatira now so from the start imbes na ipadala sa address nila ang summons at decision through newspaper nilalagay. a month talaga after pag publication pero pag hindi naman 15days after natanggap ng osg at walang appeal pwede na daw makakuha ng finality sa court

Good news mga sis, I am already annulled. My lawyer already got a copy of my decision today. I was annulled last Feb 20 pa pero ngayon lang napirmahan ng judge. I'm so happy. I hope magtuloy tuloy na until I can get my certificate and decree.

hi sis, I have a question again. when did you get your decree of absolute nullity? was it together with the certificate of finality or after you have updated your records from the local registries?

Again, do your homework when looking for a lawyer. Getting a lawyer is just like getting a condo or booking a hotel. Research, research and research.

about sa kasal katoliko ako wala pa kaming anak..

1. nagpakasal kami ng mister tapos nalaman ko may una pa lang pinakasalan ang mister ko kaya bale pangalawa ako at alam namin pareho na hindi valid ang kasal namin..

2. on process na ngayon ang annulment ng mister ko sa una nyang pinaksalan.

3. kapag natapos na ba ang annulment nila at nagkaroon na ng finality..kailangan pa rin ba naming ipa annul  ang kasal namin kahit na annulled na sila non una nyang pinakasalan.

4. o pwede na magpakasal na lang ulit kami since annulled na naman ang una nya.

@bubbles_sandy, depends sa court. Minimum is 8 hearings (kung hindi mapopostpone yung hearings).

@baku-kang, kailangan mo pa din ata ipa-annul yung kasal mo kesehodang annulled na yung first marriage or hindi pa. The fact na kasal pa din sya sa first wife means null and void yung marriage nyo. Pero I think the court has to declare na null and void nga.

Case in point yung kay Sharon Cuneta. Gabby was married before he married Sharon pero pina-annul pa din ni Sharon yung kasal nila ni Gabby.

this question is for my cousin.

may bf sya ngayon (they have 15 years gap) na seperated na sa wife nya. muslim na yung bf nya so pwede silang magpakasal under muslim rights kaya lang ayaw ng cousin ko kasi gusto nya sa catholic kaya lang sa catholic kasal si bf nya and di pa annull yung first marriage. my cousin wants na magfile ng annullment yung bf nya, but annullment is too pricey kaya gusto nya sure na magragrant yung annullment. ang history kasi nung bf nya is this:
-yung second daughter nya nalaman nya hindi sya ang ama a few days after her wife gave birth. so naghiwalay sila (this is the legal wife)
-after a few years nagkaron ng ka live in, 1st child sa kanya tapos yung second child hindi na naman sa kanya (saklap!) so hiwalay na naman
**pero sa kanya nakaapelyido kahit yung mga hindi nya anak kasi yung nakabuntis sa wife nya and sa naka live in nya eh parehong may asawa

i was married 17 years ago and i was 17 only that time. pinalitaw lang na 18 ako para maikasal. when i turned 18 naghiwalay din kami nung guy. i am 34 now and i have a partner living together for 7 years already. we want to get married but the problem is I am married before. what should i do. please enlighten me. thanks

Wala namang say yung ex mo dyan. Whether he agrees or not, the court will decide kung dapat ba iannul yung marriage nyo.

Dapat kasi me divorce na sa Pilipinas. This annulment chuva ek-ek is just plain stupid. Parang naglolokohan lang!

Kahit ma grant ang court annulment di ka pa rin makakapakasal sa catholic church unless makakuha  rin nang church annulment.

Your marriage is void from the beginning. You have to consult a lawyer who will help you in filing the petition in court. Once the petition is granted you can remarry.
