My younger sis has this bf/live in partner for almost 5years na and may baby na sila, turning 2 next month..

Married yung guy nung 2006, naghiwalay sila ng wife nya 2007. Ang sabi nung guy ang nilagay niya na parents name sa marriage contract nila is his lolo and lola's name since both parents nya ay dead na at illegitimate child siya kaya surname ng mother nya ang gamit nya..nahihiya daw kase siya na ilagay ang name ng mother nya kase parehas sila na surname. May nilagay din siya na middle name sa marriage contract nila pero sa birth certificate nya wala siya middle name.. Pwede kaya ma null and void yung kasal nila?

Makakakuha kaya ng cenomar yung guy pag ang nilagay nya sa info niya is yung real name ng parents niya?

uu..pwede na..pero bigamy yun pag naghabol ang 1st wife. Yan ang alam ko, yung saken naman wrong spelling so makakaukha din ako gn CENOMAR, sabi ng lawyer ko, walang problema hanggat hindi maghahabol yung 1st husband.

marami namang ganyan eh, hindi na pinapalegalize, parang usapan nalang ng both parties..yun lang pag me naghabol, bigamy parin ang bagsak.

Hi WallStreetGuy, does the Solicitor General's Office entertains this kind of queries if we do call them up?

Meron bang may alam ng number ng Binan Regional Trial Court?  I'm trying to search the net pero parang walang reliable website na I can find.  Thanks in advance. 

You can get updates on your annulment cases in the following instances:

1) if your lawyer has a law firm, drop by at the office and inquire about the status. I am pretty sure there are staff there or lawyers who can assist you.

2) if your lawyer has no office, drop by a his house and wait for him. Again i am pretty sure he will go home eventually. Do it nice and diplomatic though. Some lawyers keep their work and private life strictly separate.

3) if the annulment case is pending in the court, go to the clerk of court and ask for the status and be ready with your case docket number or any reference so the clerk of court or his staff can readily assist you.

4) the solicitor general's office is also involved so you may nicely request for the solicitor or lawyer assigned to your case and maybe ask for status updates.

And the observation that lawyers are not magicians is true. The pendency and resolution of the case highly depends on the court and the manner your case will be handled by the presiding judge. Some may take six months while others as long as two years. But your lawyer should at least update you of the status regularly.

^Sis, ako din wala sa pinas.  Ang hirap tumawag.  Pero tumawag ako sa office of the solicitor general kahapon.  Hahanapin daw nila yung case and pinapatawag ako sa Monday. 
Ok naman so far kausap yung staff na nakausap ko kahapon.  Sana nga makita nila.  I gave them yung case no.

what is important is to be able to establish sa court yung grounds...yan ang advice ng fiscal na kakilala ng friend ko

i've been talking recently to a lawyer friend of mine who will handle my friends case.. palpak kasi nung unang filing kasi hindi na establish ng lawyer yung grounds 10 yrs ago..to think nothing to settle no properties nor kids..refer lang sa parents nya yung lawyer ng mga kakilala.. sayang lang binayad nila..

magastos nga daw pero nothing is better than kakilala yung lawyer at talagang kailangan mo alamin yung proseso..at updated sa annulment cases handling...


another friend i have talked to recently- she has 3 kids and has filed for annulment.. na grant naman agad after a year magastos nga daw talaga.. she was able to get a lawyer na family cases ang forte..

Question po, please help. Roman catholic po kami pareho ni mister, at stated yun sa marriage contract namin. Sa civil kami kinasal and ang nagkasal sa amin pastor. Hindi ko maalala na nag sign of the cross kami. Kung born again christian ba nag officiate ng kasal namin, null and void ba yun? Same case with james yap and kris aquino. Nalilito na kasi ako e. Natanong ko na to dati pero hindi ko na makita post ko. Dati gusto ko magpaannul pero ngayon ayaw ko na. Pero ayaw ko rin naman na nagsasama nga kami tapos hindi naman pala valid kasal namin. Please enlighten me po. Tia!

Hi Sis, silent reader ako here. I know Brucelyn here sa GT wayback 2010 pa ata..regarding annulment procedure. We exchanged emails, but since di pa ako ready that time. I didn't push through. BTW, I filed my annulment last 2011..na raffle case ko ng 2012 and started my pre trial April 2012..up to now di pa tapos..so disappointed sa nangyayari. Going back kay Brucelyn, I hope maayos nyo agad. Di biro ang pera nailabas natin just to file, not to mention yun emotional stress while on going ang case
