^same here. LOL ;D for a while we used combi, then switched to avent. then just last monday i found a sassy spoon+fork set with case na medyo malaki ang head ng spoon and kanina pinagamit ko, so far so good. mukhang eto na muna gagamitin namin for the meantime since i find avent's spoon quite shallow and small kasi.

^ kami stainless steel na ngayon ang main spoon. Maliit na teaspoon ito, as in yung pang demitasse lang.

Then nilalagay namin sa plastic case ng richell spoons. When we go out, we bring 3 spoons para may back up din. Pero the 2 others are richell na soft tip and pigeon na parang melamine. Favorite niya yung stainless steel.

Excited na ako magprep ng solid foods for baby. Pano pala kapag umaalis kayo? Pano kayo nagpapack ng foods for baby?

Nung less than 1 yo pa lang yung anak ko, when go out ang dinadala kong pagkain, fresh fruits na may balat pa (banana, avocado) or hard-boiled egg (yung yolk lang pinapakain ko) tapos ilalagay na lang sa Munchkin fresh food feeder o i-mash and add water or milk sa food container nya, para I didn't need to worry about the freshness of the food. Kung bahay ang pupuntahan namin, I brought vegetables for steaming at nakiki-steam na lang ako (nilalagay sa ibabaw ng sinaing).

I use Tommee tippee storage cups. A cup can fit 2 ice cubes of frozen food. I just put it on ziploc along with her spoon and we're good to go. By the time we get to our destination, the food is thawed already. If it's at a restaurant, I also ask for a bowl with warm water to thaw.

Thanks sa suggestions mga mommies! Evenflo ata yung bowl na nabili namin eh. Wala kasi kaming makita na bowl na makulay na may takip. Anong brand ba nung sa inyo?

brand ng lagayan ng food?
I use avent via cups, meron din yung stainless steel 3pcs na safe for baby and tight ang cover nya i bought from zebebe.

We give her sa pureed or blended food nya:
usually brocolli, cauliflower, squash, zucchini, sayote, carrot, peas, salmon, chicken.  we add some spice like few garlic powder, cinnamon, thyme, italian spice, sibuyas when steamboiling the fish or chicken.

Mga sis, how much milk intake ba dapat ang baby at 11months? So far kasi, increase sya fr 26oz a day, naging 31oz pa recently then 3meals parin na may around 5cubes each. Plus some fruits like banana mango orange. Actually ang hirap  pakainin ng solid foods except fruits na gusto nya. I wonder baka sobra kami magpa milk, kaya di gaano gutom sa solids? Dapat ba bawasan na sa milk?

She takes enfalac a+, nutrilin and ceelin and is at 50% percentile sa weight.

Next week 6 months na si baby ko. Pwede ko kaya siya pakainin ng watermelon as his first food? May fresh food feeder na din kasi siya eh.

sis,
try prioritizing better food aside from watermelon.
watermelon kasi is mostly juice/ water that will make baby fill full/ busog and there are other more nutritious food you can try.  like squash, steamed then blended cauliflower/ brocolli.  though yung brocolli nakaka-gas / utot daw.  you can give in moderation.

^broccoli is not even advisable as a first food since it's gassy.

pwede but not as a meal itself. we give fruits to baby sometimes sa feeder para lang sipsipin nya yung juice and at the same time as his teether na rin since we give it to him fresh from the fridge.

^^^I would recommend delaying watermelon because it's one of those allergenic fruits (like oranges, kiwi & strawberries) lalo na if your family has a history of asthma. This was recommended by our pedia derma because my child has atopic dermatitis.

I don't think so. BM is easily digestible, so why should there be constipation?

It's with the type of food and not based on the type of milk the baby is used to.
