hi mga sis!! ano pa ba ok na green veggies na ibigay kay baby? kasi so far ang nakain na niya is green peas and sayote.  i bought broccoli kaso i read sa previous thread na gassy pala un so not good! any suggestions please? thanks!

for fruits pala, nakain na siya ng banana (although lakatan yun tapos nasama ko pa yun gitnang part...ah baket nga pala bawal yung gitnang part?), apple, pears at papaya. more of papaya ngayon kasi nga hirap pa din siya minsan mag-poop.  i'm not sure nga if considered as constipated na siya or not e! how can you tell ba? basta ba hirap mag-poop constipated na? please help! TIA!

every morning po mag introduce ng solid food tas mas ok if 3 consecutive days papakain ang same kind of food para malaman natin if me allergic si baby sa food na yun.. if meron man at least madali lang natin ma identify compare kung palit ng palit everyday ng menu..

^ thanks sis grace! i bought na yung ice cube tray with cover and may container na rin siya for frozen cubes, magkakasama sila, sayang di ako nakahanap ng biokips na brand, but this one did the job pa rin naman, thank you! i have na kasi yung dr. browns food storage pods, kaso 6 pcs lang yun sa isang package and 3 oz per pod siya so parang kulang na for my baby ngayon, kaya naisip ko baka puwede yung muffin trays, hehe. similar kasi siya dun sa dr. brown na silicon din. pero, okay din yung ice cube tray ko. salamat ulit! :-)

^you have space issues ba sa freezer? you can transfer the cubes in a ziplock plastic after nila mafreeze. eto ginagawa ko pag kulang na sa space ang freezer dahil sa breast milk

Hi. I'll be starting with solid foods soon. So nakaplano na din ang pagbili ko ng ice cube trays, ziplock, and chopping board. Question ko is kelangan ba magbigay ng rice cereals? Kasi parang puro veggies and fruits ang nabasa ko na ok ifreeze. So inisip ko, if part talaga cya dapat sa diet ni baby, bili na lang ako ng earth's best rice cereal sa healthy options. Kasi parang ang hassle to prepare from scratch everytime i feed my baby tapos super konti lang naman eat nya.  Thanks mga sis.

Joining. My son's 10 months old, and picky eater na sya! So hoping I can find recipes here for him to eat.

We started weaning him when he was 5.5 months, una puro mash food muna - avocadoes, banana, carrots and baby rice (cereals). Tapos onti onti we introduced pasta (yun mga small shapes), chicken, green peas, bread, potatoes, spinach, fish, egg (the last 2 nung 9 months lang sya kasi some people believe na puedeng may allergy ang bata to such food). Puro from scratch ko sila niluluto.

Now he still has no teeth pero he eats 'finger foods' by himself - pilas ng slice ng bread (we give him brioche para malambot), small chunks of chicken, fish, green peas. Ang nalulungkot lang ako e hindi nya feel ang sabaw na food, gusto nya 'dry' na nahahawakan. Nagsasawa na rin siguro yun bata sa chicken (nilaga with ginger) and peas. This month inintroduce ko na rin beef (with pasta and tomato so parang spag na) and pork. Mukhang di pa enjoy si bigboy dun, or maybe ayaw nya na ginagawa kong sabaw yun food... oh well!

^^yan ginawa ko before, just buy earth's best cereals tapos i incorporate it to the pureed fruits/veggies.

^you just have to be consistent and persistent in giving food to your baby. anak ko naman medyo kailangan distract like his hands needs to be busy with something before he'll eat. minsan if i notice if its because of his teething episodes i just give him camilia drops then puros mga finger food i.e. carrot sticks, broccoli, bread etc

sis try mo i-separate yung kanin and ulam nya and encourage self feeding by giving her fork or spoon. Yun yung ginagawa ng asawa ko pag lunch, with matching pambobola/praise everytime na susubo yung bata using a spoon independently. mga 3 days na naming ginagawa to, so far effective naman. ewan ko lang next week. hehe

Actually sis, ganun nga ginagawa namin. Kasabay namin siya kumain. She has her own plate, spoon and fork and plastic cup. Pinaglalaruan lang minsan ang food, minsan naman, kakain, konti tapos iluluwa. Kasabay talaga namin siya kumain kasi gusto ko nakikita niya kame pano kumain para gayahin niya.

Hi alva! Question where did you get/buy your ice cube trays with cover & container? And may I ask how much it is? Will need to stock up on these items as my baby will be starting on solids a month frim now & ayoko sana mag-last minute ng pagbili lalo na if medyo expensive sya kasi kelangan din i-budget ko sya. Hehe. TIA.

sis cldy_1981, saw ones from theecobabyboutique and zebebe. see links here and here. yan yung plan ko bilhin, but i have a lot of avent via cups kasi which i used to store BM kaya i'm still thinking it over.

sis grayce, may i ask, what was the first food you let your son eat? i plan to introduce avocado sana kasi. i am determined to introduce it at 6months even with hubby and pedia's desire to introduce it now at 5months. nanay pa rin naman ang masusunod. hehe. :)

^siguro sis you may also check at malls, just make sure na bpa free. ako kasi i bought a converter before and avent via cups ang gamit namin. but when i changed my son's nipple to medela calma, that's when it's not so used anymore. para na din hindi mapansin ni hubby na kung ano ano pinagbibili ko, i plan to use that na lang. :)
loving my baby more each day :)
