I've been going to Affascinante for hair maintenance and makeover since November'10. I learned about the salon here in GT.
This is one of the few times I posted here in GT (always reading reader lang kasi ako before). And it's because I think y'all deserve to read about and see my rave:)
Of course I texted ms. weng before going to her salon, to consult about what I wanted done and the price. I wanted to have my hair colored jetblack, with blue reflect, para maiba naman. But ms. weng said na once na dark na ang hair, mahirap na ulit ilight. So I chose to follow her advise.
Before putting me on the digiperm "octopus" machine, she asked me what kind of curls I wanted. Para accurate ang description, she showed me 3 magazine covers, each with a girl of different curliness level: small curls, medium curls and large curls (wavy effect).
I chose medium curls, para tumagal ang perm.
And tinanong nya rin ako from what point ko gusto magstart yung perm. Sabi ko from the point of growth ng rebonded (buhaghag na kasi yung lower 1/2 ng buhok ko - relaxed treatment since May 2010, yung upper 1/2, naturally maayos naman).
After perming, my hair was colored (I told her what I wanted, basta hindi obvious ang regrowth), she chose two shades and made me select which one I wanted. I went with the darker shade. After these she gave me a free cellophane.
After 1 day (without washing), my hair looked like this:

And after washing, my hair looked like this:
http://tinypic.com/r/2ci89cn/5That is without combing at all, and just a dash of cheapo curl refining lotion (less than 100p). I am so glad my hair didn't end up looking like it's just wavy. Medium was definitely the right choice!
What I do now is, after bathing, I put a bit of curl refining lotion, then twirl my hair into place. Then the dried result is like that in the 2nd picture.

I hope this post was informative enough.
