We got SJT Strings and we booked them for only 12k sa wedding fair.

Hi sis based sa weddings that I've attended, the strings will be your background music, like during cocktails and such and during dinner din. Para hindi puros usap and glass clinking ang naririnig. During the couple's entrance, they could also play your entrance song, unless you want a livelier song, or a certain song na hindi kaya ng strings. Mga past weddings na I've attended, they had strings but during their couple's dance they also opted for mp3 songs na were already mashedup for their dance. Hope this helps

Hi you guys, has anyone heard of the Strings band D Capo? Actually I know one of their members, but I've never really seen them play in weddings, and I'm a bit shy to ask him as for their rates as I'm not also sure if I want to get them. Just wanted to know their reputation first. Thanks to anybody who can answer please.

Sis medyo isa sa pinaka expensive si D Capo. But I think it is because they bring their own equipment. Here are the rates I have from 2014:

28K    Trio ( violin& percussion , keyboard, guitar) + 1 singer

34k quartet ( add flute/ sax) + 1 singer

34k.     Trio + 2 singers ( male& female)

40k   Quartet + 2 singers

Basic soundsystm will do, we bring our own equipment.

Before I wasn't planning on having any strings or bands but now my MIL invited her friend on the guise that she will sing in our wedding. Hay.... 😩😩😩😩 So now I have to go and look for a band but I prefer strings kasi.  Especially the cello. Sigh... 😓😓😓

Quintet - 23k
Sextet - 27k

min rate of singer -6k
rates exclusive of 13% Tax

^wow thanks sis for posting the rates of MPO.  So the hubby and I decided that we may need to get Strings.  So far isa pa lang ang napagtanungan namin and they are the Rhythm and Strings 12k, no out of town fee  3 strings with vocals. Okay na sana pricewise but when I was checking their other videos minsan sablay yung vocals. Although nagagandahan ako sa strings nila. Can somebody recommend other strings with a 12-20k budget. Or is my budget too low? Masyado bang ambitious budger ko?? hehe.Thanks in advance

hi mga sis. patulong ako. kasi my fiance wants a vocalist during reception. i suggested na kung pwede we get MSM on the ceremony and get a band on the reception pero sabe niya it might be expensive lalo na kung need pa pala namin ng choir during the ceremony.. which is better? get MSM and a vocalist in both reception and ceremony or get MSM to play for the ceremony and get a band for the reception?

^Its cheaper to get MSM for both church and reception, and just add a vocalist. Rather than get a band after. Not to mention, you need to pay pa for band setup with your lights and sounds supplier.

OR you can just get the MSM and vocalist for both church and reception, then get a DJ for the after party of the reception.

How about anima choir and strings, gals? Are they any good? I want a choir to sing kasi sa church e, kahit ba 4 person choir lang sila..

^I got Anima choir also =) I got a vocal quintet with keyboardist. I really want a choir in church kasi. I also got MSM but I am not sure if I will make them play in church since they only will play for a certain number of hours. I might make them perform alternate sets in the reception with Anima to do vocal sets in between. Kinda expensive lang since I hired 2 diff groups. But I really wanted the choir, and really like MSM's repertoire.

For the reception after party, we are going to have a DJ.
