same here I can't concentrate before sa work, that's why I decided to relax muna after I booked major suppliers although I keep list of the other minor suppliers

kikay_machine - thank you so much sis! h2b and i planned for this ng isang taon. and sa loob ng isang taon na yun, di ako makapag focus, kasi dito ako nag paplan ng wedding sa office. haha! more internet lang. LOL. but i must say, sa wedding preps sis, wag tayo mag paka lax. mas maganda yung magawa natin nung checklist natin way ahead sa timeline talaga. in our case, as early as 2 months before the wedding, wala na kami iniisip ni h2b. kaya relax mode nalang ngayon. kaya di talaga ako na stress. Just a piece of advice lang naman. hhehe. malapit nadin ang January sis! next thing you know, naku, Jan 2013 na pala. up to now, i can't believe na malapit na talaga ang wedding namin, kasi nasanay ako na matagal ang binibilang ko. 
feeling? hehe. excitement lang nararamdaman ko ngayon sis! hintay nalang ako ng wedding day. and hopefully, tuloy tuloy na to. ayaw ko ng wedding jitters! haha

Our church and venue is at Nature Church in Las Pinas. I'm not sure if we will hire a wedding coordinator, since I have friends who are volunteering to help us on that day. In your case, I think you really need a coordinator since you're both based abroad so medyo mahirap talaga ang wedding preps.

Mga sis! 2013 bride here

We're getting married Feb. 17, 2013 in Batangas. We already pencil-booked our church and reception venues, and booked na our p/v (Imagine Nation and Rockinduo).  By next week, magda-down na kami to reserve our date sa venue.  Right now I'm looking for caterers (in Batangas) and couturier. Sa sobrang ka-OC ko, naka-sked ako kung hanggang kelan to look for this or that suppliers; hindi sabay-sabay para mas focused sa paghahanap hehe.

Happy preps! And kung may mare-recommend kayong couturier under 25K who specializes in grecian-style gowns, PM me!

Aug 2013 bride ako.. haven't done any reservations yet kasi 1 year daw dapat sa church na gusto namin ni hubby, and i don't want to reserve the reception until meron na church.

For suppliers, i have a shortlist na for p/v, reception, mobile bar, photobooth. Iniisip ko pa kung kukuha bko ng partial coordinator or OTD lang.

sis kristelvillar May 4, 2013 wedding namin! Ang gusto ni H2b is Jed or si Alex. Sana nga di pa sila mabook. Iniisip kasi ni h2b na pag sa bridal fairs magpabook may mga freebies pa. Yep mahirap maghanap sa wedding gown sis. lalo na kung yung budget limited. 10k nga lang budget ko nung una pero ngayon eh dapat dagdagan. hay. maski style ng gown hanap ako. ng tingin kong di naman ganun kamahal hehe.

hi sis mommybunny, i think ok yang ginawa mo. since di pa kayo makapagpabook ng church at least may shortlist ka na. sa wedding coordinator naman, OTD lang kinuha ko. bale Alphaevents Management kinuha kong WC.

Sis Dukhang Adbenturera, natakot kase ako na baka booked na si Lai sa wedding namen so I booked her early. Nagpalit kasi kami ng photog, eh si h2b pinagsabihan ako na papalit-palit daw ako ng gusto. Kasi naman, the more I spend sa GT, mas marami akong nadi-discover na magagandang suppliers.  May shortlist ka ba ng couturiers? Kase dun naman ako naka-focus ngayon, sa couturiers and caterer.

sis kristelvillar wala pa me couturiers talaga. medyo nahihirapan ako dito. iniisip ko nung una patahi na lang ako kay Ms. Magda or Ate Vangie (dito ko rin sila nahanap sa GT). Kaso may negative feedback na natatakot ako baka mangyari din sakin ganun.

Sa caterer naman, dito kami nakafocus ngayon. Bale  may mga sked kami for FT. Kahapon lang ng FT kami sa Patio de Tata Roque, nasarapan naman si h2b. hehe. Actually ako nagustuhan ko mgs seafoods nila at desserts.
