prettykhae - the most important is the date then look for church and venue... then everything will follow na. unless you have specific in demand supplier that you want to book.

@katrinac aside from my mom and dad, bestfriend ko palang nakaka-alam. wala pa ring formal pamamanhikan. ganito pala ang feeling, parang lutang.

hay grabe, inip na inip na akong magpabook sa church. 3 weeks pa ako maghihintay. haaaaaay!

mahirap na masaya talaga ang pag prepare ng wedding.

kaloka yung mga nagsasabi sakin na super layo pa daw ng wedding nag peprepare na ako.. waaaaah eh natataranta na kaya ako. feeling ko kulang oras... haha! syempre super hanap ako ng murang suppliers na maganda quality. ayaw din naman kasi namin sobrang over budget kami.

hi! 2012 bride here. I am done na with almost all supplier booking pero getting married this Novmeber pa lang, and i agree with what has been said here, book the church then venue then everything will follow.

list down all your options for the suppliers you need.
also, know your wants, nice to haves and needs. Important kasi ma separate yun to better gauge how much will be provided for each supplier

Research din! super important ito.

toodee is right aside from listing needs and wants... set a budget for each item na rin parang minimum and maximum kasi mas nakaka-stress pag na-overbudget hehe!

dukhang adbenturera - advantage of booking early = price lock but make sure na yun na talaga ang gusto mong supplier. sometimes dahil mahaba pa ang oras at research ka ng research, may iba kang nakikita and willing ka i-let go ang down payment = lost money

ngayon ko pa lang gagawin yang list ng needs vs wants.

pero nakapag set na kami ng budget for each supplier. kaya eto research mode at mahirap ngang basta na lang magpa reserve. minsan nakakakita ako ng gustong gusto ko, pero minsan naiisip ko baka may mas better so di ko muna papabook. ginawa ko na lang naglagay ako ng deadline kung hanggang kelan lang dapat ako mgreaserach at magstart magpabook.

Hopefully, di pa nabook mga first choice namin ni h2b kapag magpapabook na kami.

sis magandang idea yung setting a deadline..

ako din research ng research, nadadagdagan ng nadadagdagan ang kalituhan on which supplier to book.. Really thankful sa GT, napakalaking tulong sa preps

Dukhang Adbenturera - headsup lang sis, St. Pancratius Chapel's rate this year is 18k. when we booked kasi after holy week last year, akala naman nag-price lock sila. unfortunately hindi pala. so from 15k rate nila on 2011, we paid 18k kasi 2012 wedding namin.

. Yan din ang gusto kong caterer talaga at kbyc kaso di sila available sa date ng kasal ko

^ naku sis! lalo ako na excite.

sana nga pag nakapagpasched na kami ng food taste sa PC magustuhan ni h2b food nila. busy pa buong weekend namin hanggang april. kaya di ma tuloy kami makapagpasked!.

dahil dito naghahanap na tuloy ako venue.

gusto ko sana sa paco park garden na rin kaso baka umulan. hehe. kaya hanap hanap na ako.

Dukhang Adbenturera - option din namin before yung Paco Park, rate is 12k when we inquired before. pero na-turn off si hubby kasi nilamok sya nung nag-ocular kami. and correct ka dyan. always consider the weather dahil its very unpredictable nowadays. you might need to book tent supplier pa, dagdag gastos lang.

december 2013 bride here. feb. 2012 kami nagstart magbook. So far church, reception venue, caterer, emcee na (or 'pa lang', hehe) ang nabu-book namin. our next goals are photographer and videographer. 2 suppliers per month lang ang tinatarget ko, first is because overseas kami ni fiance, so walang ocular ocular, internet research lang talaga, 2nd is because gusto ko mapag-isipan talaga mabuti, para 100% sure at walang remorse pag may nakita pang ibang supplier.

At oo, may mga nagsasabi samin na sobrang layo pa. Friends, ok lang, tawa lang kami. Pero pag supplier ang nagsasabi mejo nalulungkot ako, parang ang dating eh atat ko, haha. But then, para sakin hindi sya sobrang layo. Ang bilis kaya ng araw.
