sis, it's never early to book. if you have the means na, then go ahead. as long confirmed na ang date, or there's no way na hindi matuloy ang kasal go na. para na rin maprice lock nyo yung pwede nyong maprice lock. we started scouting for suppliers in 2008, almost 3 years before our actual wedding. and kung may money na kaming pangbook nun, we could've booked our caterer and p/v at that time. imagine this, we were sure to get hizon's na as our caterer when their pero plate price was 550 pa lang. when we booked them, 790/head na!

Dukhang Adbenturera - option din namin before yung Paco Park, rate is 12k when we inquired before. pero na-turn off si hubby kasi nilamok sya nung nag-ocular kami. and correct ka dyan. always consider the weather dahil its very unpredictable nowadays. you might need to book tent supplier pa, dagdag gastos lang.

ang alam ko sis meron pa. kasi may list of accredited caterers lang din sila dun. kung wala sa list nila, catering fee will be applied on top of the rental fee. tapos yun fountain din nila may charge din na P500 if you want to open it during the evet. you can go to National Park development Committee office near DOT office ng Luneta. Congrats sa mga 2013 brides Almost 5 years na kami ni boyfie and i'm hoping to be a 2013 bride too!

Dec2011 - ako na nag initiate na mag draft ng wedding plans namin ni boyfie, gusto ko na rin kasi magpakasal.
Jan2011 - started na magipon for wedding funds. dati pa nya kasi gusto magipon pero ako nageenjoy pa sa girlfriend/boyfriend stage namin. hehe.
Mar2011 - we attended Wedding Expo sa SMX. Wala kaming nabook pero nagka idea kami sa mga kailangan gawin. Good thing, on the same day, nagpareserve kami for SMDC condo.

As a summary, nagiipon kami for wedding fund at downpayment ng condo. On the side, we are not yet engaged, wala pang ring at "will you marry me" stage. Pero happy ako na we are together in all of these.

The bf calls me his fiance now and he plans for us to get married July 2013. HAHAHA. It's crazy! Being traditional and all I'm like "err, where's my engagement ring?" HAHA! Then again when we talked about it, kung kaya mahabol ng July we'll do it July but if not then we'll have it December 2013 na lang pagdatig ng family nya from CA.

I'm still in denial actually. Pero pag pinapaalala nyang kelangan na namin mag-save, scout for bahay, plan ng ganto at ganyan, narere-alize ko "ay eto na nga ata!"

Oh well, how soon should we prepare ba? I think I need another week to really feel everything sink in. HAHA.

Congrats sis unicahija7! nasa "lutang mode" ka pa. hehe. actually, matagal yang ganyan feeling sakin eh. hehe. natulala naman ako nun nagpropose si h2b. hehe.

For me, as early as now, puwede ka na magprepare. May mga sis tayo rito na 2014 pa ikakasal pero nagpeprepare na rin sila.

Congrats unicahija7! If you're planning to have a December wedding, you should start scouting for suppliers na. Mabilis sila mabook kasi most people here choose to wed during 'ber' months talaga

Aww... Thanks sisses Dukhang Adbenturera and shooting_star I'm in the office at nagtetext kami na papalitan na ang venue na since 2010 nakabookmark na sa amin. Hindi na kasi properly maintained e. Such a bummer! I was all set pa naman na in holding ours there.

Anyways, would you guys have yung timeline ng wedding preparations? Parang guide? Hehe. Before we go into details kasi we need to announce it to our families pa. HAHAHA! Kami pa lang may alam e. Tumityempo pa kami.

October 2013 bride here. Just pencil booked Fernbrook Gardens both Church and Reception Venue. Bf and I just secured this one as there would be lots of 2013 brides as months pass by. Mabuti ng sigurado ang simbahan at reception. The rest will follow naman.

^ naku sis! lalo ako na excite. 

sana nga pag nakapagpasched na kami ng food taste sa PC magustuhan ni h2b food nila. busy pa buong weekend namin hanggang april. kaya di ma tuloy kami makapagpasked!.

dahil dito naghahanap na tuloy ako venue. gusto ko sana sa paco park garden na rin kaso baka umulan. hehe. kaya hanap hanap na ako.

2013 bride here, too! Hindi pa rin nagsi-sink in sa'kin. Hindi ko nga alam ang uunahin at hindi pa rin alam dito sa bahay. Hehe. Pero yung family ng h2b ko, alam na ang they're just so excited. Napa-pencil book na ng mom niya yung church, and siya pa talaga yun nag-pressure sa'min na mag-isip na ng date of wedding, kasi when we first visited our prospective church, wala pa talaga kami maisip na date. It's going to be a wedding in a verrry tight budget. Good luck sa'min.

I already booked 4 major suppliers: Church, Reception, P/V & OTD. Ok lang bang mag slow down muna
to focus sa work & for the reason na baka mag change ng plans at maging super simple wedding n lang
although I have a short list for HMUA, Florist, Bridal car & strings.

Hirap din sa side ko oversies bride here plan ko maging active ulit 3 months before wedding.
hndi nman siguro ko mauubusan ng supplier coz we are having a weekday wedding. please let me know your insights.

@sis Noylabmay: same here. overseas bride din ako. Good luck talaga, hirap mag-plan pag wala sa pinas. I am thinking of getting a WC but OTD lang. Better to start planning early para hindi ngarag pag malapit na..

Noylabmay - as long as you booked your major suppliers you can chill muna and since 2013 pa naman you can start again by November IMO lang yun ha!

@ sis lil_amber, for me ok na ok ang OTD lang for the reason na sometimes na those suppliers na suggest by the coordinator e di mo rin type kaya you will decide pa rin nman on the details....
sa ating mga oversies bride pwede rin nmang sa reviews and feedback sa net at fellow Gts sissies natin kunin or if you want you can send your relatives to check the actual.
