bf sent me that article before. actually i'm caught in the middle, kung maniniwala ba ako or hindi.. bf is a Christian and i'm a Catholic.

i agree with you sis s_dlam4achange.. before bf kept on saying to me all the flaws of the Catholics, kesyo ang sumaksak raw kay Jesus ay mga Romans bakit raw tayo Roman Catholic, basta marami pa. i ended up crying begging him to stop, ayoko kasi ng ganun.. parepareho lang naman tayo ng creator e. sabi nya hindi nya naman raw sinisiraan, sinasabi nya lang raw ang totoo. simula nun di na  sya nagsalita about dun. never nang naging issue samin ang religion.

anyways, IMHO, it's all about faith and how you live with the idea that God is above all. when the judgement day comes it's what you did when you were still alive will matters not on what religion you are.

^ That's one thing I learned din. We should really respect each other's religious beliefs. I remember nagpost ako dito sa GT last month and my comment was a bit offensive sa ibang religions. I was overzealous noong time na yon, to the point na mali na talaga. I hope nobody got to read it. Hehe. I deleted it the following day.

i'm almost done reading the bible and i think it's somewhere in Exodus where Aaron built a gold bull-calf during Moses' absence ( he's in mt. Sinai ), the Lord commanded him to go back down because his people committed a sin, worshiping something that is not him, and the Lord was very angry.

i'm not questioning why there are physical representation of God, just wondering where that idea came from. i strongly believe na may basis ang Catholic church about this.

Hindi talaga wise i-force ang beliefs. Tulad nitong article na toh. Parang finoforce ka magbago via FEAR. That is not good.

Hindi din mahalaga mag-hardsell ng religion. Para kang naghahardsell ng product na tipong katulad nung ginagawa sa network marketing.

Minsan kasi, hindi naman talaga kelangan i-force ang religion mo sa iba. Tingnan mo yung tao. Mabuting tao ba sya? Hindi ba yun ang mas mahalaga? Meron akong mga nakikilalang walang religion technically, pero gusto ko silang tularan, kasi they inspire me to become a better person.

If you want to spread your faith, be an inspiration. Evangelize by example.

Although I believe in God and in his teachings, I am finding it hard to digest this. And medyo ang comedy nung mental picture of devils moonwalking their way all throughout hell and screaming a la Michael Jackson.

Siguro may ilang flaws lang din sa pagkakatranslate or di lang exactly natandaan ni Angelica lahat. I've been reading a lot about the music industry supporting the devil. Some artists even admitted that they sold their soul to the devil (Katy Perry is one, I've seen her interview). Marami pang iba kaya daw symbolic mga pics like Beyonce, Lady ga**, Rihanna, Christina Aguilera, etc. Pati kay Pope John Paul II may nabasa rin ako. Mayroon syang chair na inupuan nung nasa Israel sya na may upside down cross (symbol of Satanism). Well it is really hard to tell what is true or not siguro kanya kanya na talagang judgement. I still see this experience of Angelica as a warning.

@promises_bytes - yung upside down cross, kay St. Peter yan. nagpapako kasi sya na upside down ang cross kasi he did not feel na he was worthy na mamatay gaya ni Christ. He is considered as the predecessor of the popes kaya nagagamit nila ang symbol na yan.

nakakatakot kung sa nakakatakot ang articles, if she declared na Pope John Paul ay nandun nga sa place na yun, how much more pa tayong mga "Normal" na tao lang diba?

Ang impt lang , we should always believe in Him. no more, no less. Mahalin natin sya ng buong buo and we should always have faith i Him.

Siguro ang message din dito, dapat wag tayo masyado i embrace ang Fame. Kasi ang mga ibang tao, kapag sikat na masyado, nalilimutan na nila magpasalamat kay God.

I personally did not get scared of the article.  I am of course unsure of the Pope John Paul II story but I was actually reflecting on his life some time ago. He was the first pope to pray in a mosque and claimed there is one God. I think one who believes the Bible should be certain that while there is only one God, people are not worshiping the same God. The God of other religions seem to be different from the God of Christianity (based on the "sacred books" of the religions).

Tama naman yung sabi na idolatry is hated by God. If anything, that is what we should take out of this account because nasa Bible naman yun.
