How was your experience, sino OB nyo and how much yung nagastos nyo?

35 weeks na kasi ako by Friday so I wanna know lang yung mga info.. TIA!

Hello!

I gave birth in Cardinal. My OB was Dra. Karen Torredes. Okay dito kasi convienient malapit sa lahat. Inabot ako 110k kasi CS ako. The people were nice. Nung nadischarge na ako, wherever I go and khit sino makasalubong ko encourages me to breastfeed nkakatuwa. Plus, pwede si hubby sa operating room and nursery =) I like the rooms kasi spacious!

Hi. I gave birth in Cardinal Santos 4X so slight expert na saguaro ako. Haha. Joke. My OB was Dra. Beng Santiago. Tall, pretty, statuesque and very efficient.  I have gone through a normal delivery the first time using the Lamaze room and that was my most childbirth experience there. More expensive than my succeeding CS deliveries pa. Some say CS would add up to more than 100k in Cardinal or even in some hospitals but not for me. I availed of their economists packages. It's actually the same except you get a smaller room. I think only Cardinal offers a package which still has a private room. The rest like TMC etc, semi rpivate or ward type. Yikes. Thats hard for me. So ok Lang small room but with own bathroom and I'm on my own. They have a good birthing facility. In the Lamaze room, husband can be there from the start. During my succeeding pregnancies, he was allowed in the labor room as well since the new labor rooms were like per room/cubicle type already. Everything is under your OBs discretion though. Some OBs do not qualify for the package like Dr. Pastorfide. Hehe. Good luck and hope you have a good birthing experience too.

^ hi carmel! thanks for the info.. i asked na din yung mga packages ng CSMC.. and so far, gusto ko naman yung rates nila.. excited na din ako and at the same time natatakot din ako.. hehe.. sana nga maging madali lang din yung panganganak ko..

My pregnancies were ok and delivery for the 2 had complications but my OB was very efficient and calm during those times do I got through it. Important talaga yun relationship nyo ng OB mo. With her, even my husband was very comfortable to ask questions. And when I asked about the package she was om with it. beware that some OBs might be not too encouraging. Kasi if you get the package their PFs also damay. Hehe

^ ok naman si OB ko.. super nice sya samin ni hubby.. I can text her anytime lalo na pag may nararamdaman ako na kakaiba.. hindi ko pa lang sya natatanong kasi pag kaharap ko na sya, nakakalimutan ko.. hehe she's a friend of my dad so sana mura lang singil nya sakin.. hehe

I just gave birth last april 15 (friday). I had a great and wonderful experience sa CSMC. Staffs are warm and friendly. Hubby and I enjoyed our stay there. Will definitely give birth there again with our next babies.

You can try Dr. Evangeline Santiago. She has delivered my 4 kids. And even if I had pregnancies that wasn't so smooth, it all turned out wonderfully in the end because she was very calm, collected and highly skilled.

thanks sis, hindi ako nag-avail ng package nila, naglamaze room kasi ako. ang OB ko ay si Dr. Carmela Madrigal-Dy. Sya pinili ko kasi pro NSD sya, except sa mga cases na CS talaga.

Hi guys! Anyone else give birth at Cardinal Santos? My OB kasi holds her clinic here and the only other hospital she's affiliated to is TMC. Parang mas gusto ko sa Cardinal Santos. When we talked about fees briefly the last time I saw her, she told me to inquire with the admitting section na lang about the economized package kasi that's the only package she can offer at the hospital. Excluded daw dun yung PFs. I made chika her secretary na about her PF kaya yun estimate ko na but regarding the package itself medyo malabo pa. When we asked through telephone ang sabi lang samin talk about it with the OB daw. Gulo.

Yung friend ko, na-taga sa TMC eh...
I chose to give birth sa Cardinal Santos because of the good reviews here. And after giving birth, I know I made the right decision. In fact I will choose it again for our next baby.

Thanks for sharing sis glamorosa! I wonder if the prices would still be the same for 2012? My next OB visit is this Saturday (at 34+5) and I will also ask to have a look at the facilities.

Glad to know the rooms aren't too expensive, my HMO will cover up to 2K/night so I'm thinking of getting a small or big room (depending how small the small room is!)

Hi guys! I've discussed (extensively!!) fees and whatnot with my OB na this past check-up and I've also checked out the rooms. Decided na talaga kami sa Cardinal. If anyone's wondering, the economized "package" costs around 70-80k for Normal and 90-100k for CS. My OB naman told us to expect to spend 90k for normal delivery if I choose the small private room and 150k max for CS.

Given the hospital's facilities and reputation, not bad na ha, especially if you opt for the package na private pa yung room. Alanganin lang kami dun kasi onting visitors lang kasya at a given time sa room na yun.
