Has anyone here experienced VBA2C?  2x na ko naCS kahit na gustong gusto ko magtry maglabor, ayaw ng OB ko... So ayun, biyak na naman..  If given the chance na mabuntis ako ulit, try ko magconsult sa midwife na..

Parang nabasa ko 'to sis. Cebu-based ata then lumipat sya bandang Mindanao to push through her VBA2C journey.

For those who have attended a,birthing class, san kayo umattend and how much ang rate? i want to attend sana one this november before I,give birth sa 2nd wk ng december.  Anyone who could recommend

Hi sis @LeAnEn haven't attended one pero my office mate attended Rome Kanapi's Birth Class. I know there's also another one being offered by Chiqui Brosas :  http://chiquibrosas.blogspot.com/ also, meron sa mga hospital na inoffer like St. Luke's.

Ay oo, nabasa ko din yang blog.  She was from Cebu pero dumayo siya ng Davao para dun mag VBA2C.  Sobrang nainspire ako sa kanya kaya kung mabubuntis ako ulit, may plan na ako hahaha!
I have an officemate na naghome birth and yung midwife niya from shiphrah Birthing Home eh may experience daw with VBA2C.  Kaya siya agad ang icocontact ko pag nabuntis na ko ulit

@miminibebe sis, really? I have been curious nga yung Shiphrah Birthing Home kaso wala kasi akong kilala na dun nanganak. Is it possible that she can share her feedback on her midwife or her birth story? Thanks!

^Yup sis, nag-home birth si officemate a week ago lang.  Water birth to be exact.  And yung midwife niya is from that birthing home.  According to her, very supportive si midwife sa birthing plan niya.  Before siya manganak, bale tuloy yung check ups niya with her OB but at the same time, inaalagaan na din siya ni midwife.  Ang usapan nila was to call the midwife pag very close na yung contractions niya, tsaka siya pupuntahan ni midwife sa house. 

Bago siya nanganak pinatanong ko na actually sa kanya if me experience si midwife na magpaanak ng normal kahit na 2x na naCS and sabi daw ni midwife, yes.  May mga napaanak na siya na VBA2C kaya hihingin ko for sure number niya pag nagkita kami ni officemate.  I'll post it here din for everybody's reference.

Hi @aingee88. thanks sige,hanapi n ko nga. Actually my OB is open naman to do vbac. Pero nung sinabi nya yung mga risks, at narinig ko yung regarding sa pumutok na matres/ uterus ba yun medyo nanghina,ako. I have a friend who died due to that type of rupture while giving birth. Parang kino-convince,nya ako mag scheduled CS na,lang.buti na,lang may thread na ganito. At least i know na meron pa,lang shiprah. May kilala ba kayo na doula sa QC? Pashare naman contact nya. Yung taga shiprah pwede ba silang pumunta sa isang hospital to assist sa vbac?

@LeAnEn yung friend mo ba na nag uterine rupture was VBAC too? Uterine ruptures kasi can happen in any pregnancy whether VBAC or 1st pregnancy. TBH, nakakatakot nga naman yung uterine rupture, lalo na yung scar ko hindi low transverse, pero aim ko pa rin VBAC talaga.
Hmm, and sa sagot ni OB mo, I don't think open siya sa VBAC, lalo na kinokonvince ka ma CS. yung OB ko rin I have a feeling na hindi 100% yung commitment niya sa VBAC, if next visit ko hindi pa rin kami magkita eye to eye, I'm changing my OB na. Dra. Christine Tantoco from St. Luke's Global is super bait daw and VBAC advocate, hindi ka niya ippressure kung ayaw mo ma CS, pero pag may risk sainyo ni baby she won't hesitate na i CS ka niya. May I know bakit ka na CS nung first mo?

I know si Chiqui Brosas sis may doula services rin siya. For 6k ata, she will be with you throughout your labor.

May risks rin kasi ang 2nd elective CS, para nga akong mag eexam, puro research ako at basa ng basa haha

are you planning on VBAC too? Parang hindi ako comfortable na sa bahay manganak haha pero wow, kudos kay officemate! Water birth!! Amazing siguro yun! Gusto ko rin siya ma contact, baka pwede siyang doula or birth coach hehe

Bumaba na kasi heart rate ni baby. I was already in labor for 8 hrs at ayaw nyang bumaba. So Ayun emergency cs ako. Yung OB ko sa first baby ko sya nagsabi mag try ako vbac. Pero since medyo nalalayuan ako sa,kanya kaya change ob ako.  Yung new Ob ko parang nag convince na mag elective cs na lang. At earlier than my due date ah!

onga eh! I read nga your post. before 37th to 38th week? parang ang aga nun. hehe baka ayaw niya mag labor ka kung you're going to opt for CS naman? Maybe you could still push it to your week 39? Para naman hindi masyado maaga yung labas ni baby.

Emergency CS rin ako although baby's heart rate was fine pero may meconium stain na yung fluids ko and baka daw makain pa niya so ayun, CS, plus baby too big daw for pelvic and macrosomia kasi si baby.

Just watched the business of being born last night.  Grabe, sobrang nafrustrate na naman ako na i was not able to have a normal delivery on both of my babies... 

It was mentioned there na OB-Gynes have tendencies to say that the baby is in danger even if not just because they want to get the delivery over with.  Sobrang ganito yung nangyari sa eldest ko and even sa 2nd daughter ko.  They rely on the fear of the parents na syempre they will give in to having a CS.

If only i was able to watch this movie 6 years ago...  I'm planning to get my hospital records kahit di pa ko preggers para prepared na ko when i get pregnant... Worry ko naman kasi is baka hindi naman OK incision ko to try VBAC... Yung scar ko kasi is vertical so i'm not sure if yung sa loob is vertical din ba or hindi... if vertical, baka lalong hindi ako makapag VBA2C.

^ yan din yung worry ko, vertical or traditional cut ako I have yet to request my medical records sa SLMC. Sabi kasi nila sa records kelangan daw OB yung magrerequest. So have to talk to OB pa.

Meron pa nga na mas mataas daw yung instances ng CS pag malapit na matapos yung office hours kasi gusto na nila umuwi or something like that. kakapanginit ng ulo. hehe

In fairness naman to ym 1st CS, kasalanan ko kasi talagang pakawala ako sa diet ko nun. so big baby ang baby ko. tapos post term pa kami. and then nag meconium stain pa. ayun. CS. This time around I'm praying that I'll have a normal delivery.

I'm drinking red raspberry leaf tea na nga eh, to tone my uterus. haha sana makatulong!

Mga sis, naniniwala ba kayo na pag sinabi ng ob na cs na ako cs na ba talaga agad? parang last minute napaisip ako na mag vbac kasi kung feeling ko tagtag ako at nagpremature labor e magnormal nalang ako kesa scheduled cs, possible pa kaya sa shipra birthing homes? ano po ang mga requirements? TIA!
