Mga Sis and soon-to-be moms again, baka pwede natin i-consilidate here the list of the OBs who are VBAC-friendly. From what Ive read, eto kasi ang pinakamalaking factor for a succesful VbAC, if supportive si OB and she has prior experience na.

Hi mga sis. I'm just new here and I'm also planning to do VBAC. Gusto ko talaga ng normal delivery para mas mabilis ang recovery at syempre para makamura, kaya ngayon pa lang naglalakad na ako ng medyo malayo at exercise and lots of prayers syempre. Sana may maging successful na saten, pero malaking factor din talaga ang OB naten kaya naghahanap pa rin ako ng OB na makakadagdag ng lakas ng loob ko.

We're planning to have our second baby pa lang. My first baby is thru CS delivery and turning 2 years old by November. Thank you for this thread. Sana marami pang magshare ng successful VBAC experience nila.

Joining this thread. I was also CS last Sept 2010 and I really to have a normail delivery sa second baby ko.

The reason I was CS was because my waterbag was leaking for almost a week. At pumutok ang panubigan ko 12mn and ang doctor sa lying in sabi ayaw niya daw hintayin na magdry labor ako. So need daw i-CS.
Medyo dehado ako sa doctor na yun kasi sa mga nabasa ko, pag pumutok ang waterbag saka talaga magstart ang labor minsan. Na black out ako sa lahat ng pinag aralan ko nun kaya ayun, na CS ako. Sabi naman nila, depende daw yan sa reason kung baket ka na CS, so pwede pa rin ang normal delivery after CS. Ito talaga ang gusto ko.

Sana may OB dito sa Las Pinas/Paranaque area na ok ang VBAC sa kanila.

I want VBAC for second baby, but I had my checkup yesterday naka face presentation sya, sana umikot pa sya I still have 3 weeks para maging okay ang position nya, kapag hindi CS na naman ako. huhuhuh! akala ko magnormal na ako for second baby hindi rin pala

hello, joining I was aiming for VBAC with my 3rd pregnancy. My OB gave me a go signal that I can since the only reason why I had to undergo cs with my 2nd pregnancy was because of my baby's breeched position. I just need to provide her the complete operating procedures done by my previous ob. She also informed me that I should watch for my baby's weight. Baby cannot be too big because I might have a hard time and might cause rupture. SHe also advised that I cannot be in labor for too long and if it happens, we still need to undergo cs. And also additional hospital charges will apply if we try to do VBAC and still end up getting cut( use of labor room fee etc. ) Me and my OB were both preparing for VBAC but on my 6th month, I was having severe contractions and bleeding, and on my 36th week, my placenta previa is already grade 4, ob decided that I give birth on my 37th week. With God's grace, my baby came out fine, shes healthy baby girl @ 6.9 lbs Didnt get to experience VBAC but I guess what matters most is that my baby came out safe and sound

I also want to try VBAC. I gave birth last May 2012 via CS and will be having my 2nd in May 2014. Kaso when I tried to discuss it with my OB sa CGH 'di agad sya pumayag without giving any reason, I guess 'di sya in favor of the procedure.

May I ask kung sino pang mga OB ang pro-VBAC within Manila or QC sana.

Hi sis magkano total expenses ninyo sa Meycauayan Doctors noong nanganak ka? Diyan ko kasi plan manganak pero wala pa ako idea how much magagastos. Any suggestions narin saan pa pwede baka kasi hindi kayanin ng budget namin. TIA!

Hi Mga Mommies,


I'm an expected Mom and my due date is April 5th 2014. I want to try VBAC also for my 3rd pregnancy. I got a C-Section from my first child last 2007 because of the umbilical cord tied around her neck. After 2 years I got pregnant but got miscarriage .

It been 7 years since my successful C-Section. I am really hopeful for a normal delivery this time. I informed my OB about my plan and ask what could be the risk if I pursue it.

She said that I have a 95% chance of VBAC and 5% of rupture. Specially daw 7 years na ang last CS ko and ang cause ay hindi emergency delivery.

Yung nga lang I need to undergo certain test parin kasi she's not my first OB who did my CS operation. We will check kung gano ka kapal yung Uterus ko and if normal lahat ng laboratory test (to make sure no complication will arise) and kung gano kagaling yung pagkakatahi sakin.

Yun nga lang mapapamahal ako kasi kung hindi ko pala kaya ma-emergency CS ako which will cause me a lot rather than the plan CS.

I got a quotation already for the plan CS: around 55k to 60k. I'll ask kung how much ang madadagdag if in anycase hindi kayanin ang VBAC at mapunta ako sa Emergency CS.

My OB is Dr. Cecilia D. Nogoy (you can search sa google, she is really good)
Hospital will be FEU
