^Yup iba-iba yung mga sales tax sa CA, from 8% to 9%. Daly City SIL ko and 8.5% lang yung sales tax nila. I have another delivery to JAC and 8.5% lang din siningil na tax sa akin ng online store.

Ang saya lang nung first experience ko sa JAC. Dumating last Thursday yung item sa Daly City. Tapos Tuesday, na pick up ko na sa SM Mega mall. Around 800 binayaran ko.

^^ang bilis nyan sis burberi! sa daly city ko na din dinaan yung last order ko.. nareceive na nila kanina, sana next week mareceive ko na din. sa NY kasi it takes around 2 weeks bago ko mareceive yung package

Better to declare and pay premium. Pag alam nila, at least mas iingatan nila. And i believe kaya me additional fee kasi they take additional precautions (or different "packaging" during shipment) din for ganitong items.

summer_princess: Better to declare sis. This might be a bit OT but I have a friend of a friend na seaman. He says na his colleagues have a habit mangupit ng items na napapansin nilang sinisingit lang/not declared. Pero pag declared yung items, hindi daw nila ginagalaw (though air shipping naman si Johnny Air and not by sea, but still).

 hi mga sis. i ordered sa Nordstrom a while ago. question for the gtalkers who purchased from Nordstrom, matipid ba sila sa box? i mean i bought cosmetics kasi, hindi ba sila tulad ng amazon na sa big box naglalagay kahit konti naman laman? lol.

my order is composed of these items:

+ freebies ( a cosmetic pouch filled with 24 samples and another cosmetic pouch with samples from Clinique)


feeling ko kasi anlaki ng babayaran ko because of the dimensional weight, if ever.  hahaha!

Ordered from Nordstrom several times na din.. So far, di naman excessive ang packaging nila. Naka-box pero di naman ganun kaalogalog.

Hmm.. Di ko lang din masabi ha.. Gano kalalaki yung toners mo? Based on my experience, max box na nareceive ko from Nordstrom was about 9lbs in dimensional weight - me shoes na nakabox kasi + other items. Pero pag walang bulky boxes like shoes, less than php2k lang yan.

^ around 50mL ata for the toners? anyhoo, thanks sis! sana hindi lumagpas ng 2k. maliliit lang naman ata yung mga binili ko? lol. sana sa small sakto box lang ilagay ng Nordstrom. haha!

anyways, yung last order ko na nareceive sa daly city last friday, idedeliver na sa kin today.. yay! mas mabilis sa daly city compared sa NY so dito na ko lagi.. sana lang maayos na nila tracking sa daly city
