^sis, depende naman kasi sa laki (volume) or bigat (weight) ng package mo. Standard practice na they will always get whichever is higher. When I ordered my hubby's iPad 4 and smartcover from the US, I paid less than 2K.

Pero yung delivery ko kanina umabot sa 6.9K since halos 1/3 ng laki sa balikbayan box yung volume pero magaan naman sya. Binigyan na rin ako ng discount since 8K original shipping fee ko.

I want to know if somebody already shipped Kindle Paperwhite and its leather cover so I can have an idea kung gano kalaking kahon ang ginagamit ng Amazon for those 2 items. I read kasi na sometimes ang liliit ng items tapos ang laki ng box kaya biglang lumalaki yung charge.

^ Sis, email nalang Amazon's customer service. I always buy stuff sa Amazon and I ask them to put my orders sa smallest box that it could fit.
OK naman sila, nagre-respond agad and so far, lahat ng package ko maliliit lang yung boxes.

I just talked to Alex of Johnny Air Daly City. They offer free consolidation naman daw. They will hold your items for up to 2 weeks daw.

mukhang mas ok pala sa daly city compared sa NY ofc nila.. yung package ko na darating this week sa NY ko na naman dinaan.. dapat pala sa sanfo na lang para matry ko na dun

^hindi na sis.. 9% na ang tax sa daly city while 8.875% lang sa nyc. konti lang naman ang difference kaya try ko na din sa next shipment ko baka mas mabilis compared sa NY

^sabi ng cousin ko sis na taga daly city 9% na daw sales tax nila.. saan ba sa cali ang sil mo? sa amin kasi sa irvine 8% lang kaya lang walang address ang johnny air dun eh andito kami ni hubby sa pinas ngayon

^Yup iba-iba yung mga sales tax sa CA, from 8% to 9%. Daly City SIL ko and 8.5% lang yung sales tax nila. I have another delivery to JAC and 8.5% lang din siningil na tax sa akin ng online store.

Re tax maybe it depends on the kind of items you buy? Or tier type?

I puchased from amazon last week. The tax is 4.113%. I had it sent to Burbank, CA.

iba nga ata talaga ang sales tax pag online purchase.. unlike pag sa store mismo.. depende sa zip code mo ang tax.

Tried JAC for the first time. Had my stuff shipped to them (SFO) and emailed them na. No reply yet! Sana maging smooth lahat.

I emailed JAC SFO four days ago asking a question. Still waiting for a reply.

Do you know mga sis if Johnny Air is capable of shipping a very, very fragile item? Specifically, a laptop fan.

^As long as the item is properly packed/insulated by the shipper, no problem. I had my hubby's iPad shipped from SFO last December. Got it in good condition.
