yes, i've sent sooo many designer bags via johnny air nyc and all arrived safely the biggest box i had to send over was for my chanel gst. ang laki and i spent almost $100 --- but still happy because i got the bag in 5 days! fresh from the store pa

nag inquire ako sa jac, they told me to save on state tax have my items shipped daw sa NJ, akala ko SFO and LA ang walang sales tax?

^sis, if you backread a few posts above yours na-discuss na bakit meron ibang online stores that don't charge sales tax in CA. Now if the online stores you patronise meron "brick and mortar" store in CA sa NJ ka talaga makakamura ng sales tax. Among the three branches of JAC, CA, NY and NJ sa NJ ang pinakamababang sales tax.

^It will depend on how big or heavy the box your bag will be packaged in. They charge the freight by getting either the actual weight (gross weight) or the volume weight (dimension of the box) whichever is higher.

takot kasi ako baka mabigla ako sa shipping fee ko pagdating ng bag ko here, dustbag lang naman, no box or paperbag included, if meron man , kahit wag na nya isama sa pagship.. @mamasqueak balitaan mo ko how much inabot ng bags mo sa jac.

^sis, hindi tatangapin ng JAC or any freight forwarder/courier yung bag mo kung hindi properly packaged/boxed. SOP yan na dapat maayos yung pagka-packaged kasi they won't want accept the liability na masira/ma-damage yung shipment mo while in transit.

For the two shipments na pina-consolidate ko (bale ginawa nilang one box na lang) inabot ako ng almost 6K kasi medyo malaki yung box. Bale laman nun package ko 1 bag (large Givenchy Nightingale) and 10 assorted dresses.

ah ganun, so dapat sabihin ko kay seller not too big yung box just right na kasya yung bag, hindi na ba nirere-pack ng JAC yung matatanggap nila items? as is na yun kung pano pinaship ng u.s. seller ganun na din nila iship? thanks

wala naman sila custom tax. premium at handling fee plus 12%VAT lang.

anyone knows kung tumatanggap ng philippines based na CC ang nordstorm? balak ko bumili kasi then ipapa-Johnny Air ko nalang.. and also magkano ba yung babayaran ko sa johnny air pag andito na? wala kasi rates sa site.. ang alam ko nun.. 6 dollars /kilo? tama ba? thank you!

@calin: yes, nordstrom accepts phil cc. rate for jac is $7/lb ata, higher konti if electronics (or meron add on na $25 ata pag electronics for the customs clearing)
 the final rate will depend on how your item was packed

^^It's USD5.99/lb plus handling fee of USD5.00 and VAT. If you want to have the package delivered to you within MM it's another USD5.00

Grabe foxymom! I really have to control my online shopping since it's so easy to have them shipped to me. I have another consolidated shipment ariving this week and it's costing me USD132!! Two big packages kasi kaya ang mahal. But good thing since suki na ako I can always ask them to waive the handling fee or delivery fee.

i have my package arrived na in their New Jersey office, pero my contact person Ray Lai is asking for my card info. di ba i wll pay when i claim my items?

initially, i inquired through analyn but she is in NY and I wanted to save on sales tax kaya i emailed ray lai, both emails i got in their website. so i am sure they are both legit staffs but i am really worried and hesitant as to why i need to give my card info.

did anybody experience this? or is it really part of the transaction?
