Self taught photography enthusiast here.

Canon biased ako though I'm thinking of leaning on 3rd party lenses such as Tammy's 17-50 2.8. Pero ang dream lens ko talaga would be either 24-70 2.8 and/or 24-105 F4 of Canon. Those red rings. *drools*

May mga nagoopen shoot po ba dito?

pro na pro lang ang datingan mo nyan haha! What kind of photos do you usually shoot? Birds? Wildlife? Aviation? Sports?

I got mine back in 2012. I am still in love with it. It was very useful when I was still shooting weddings and events, especially pag evenings. Mabigat nga lang that's why I always had a monopod with me.

Sabi ko na nga ba Ate Prunella pro ka na eh.

Well, may IS na yung 70-200mm right? Though tama, even I would need a mono/tripod when using it since mabigat sya and longer focal lengths would tend to blur w/ just minimum shake.

lblackcat hindi naman masyado.. tsambahan lang..

I shoot anything I want, freelancer lang naman ako eh... ewan ko, pero kasi sabi nila pag nasa dugo mo raw ang pagiging artist(painter) or photographer.. you have an 'eye' for beautiful angles daw.. naniniwala ba kayo dun mga sisses na pro na rito sa photography???

buti ka pa sis.. pero basta.. this year magkakaron din ako niyan, by faith. In Jesus' name.

for longer focal lengths yes, kakailanganin talaga ng tripod..
pero if for close ups for example, siyempre pwede rin namang handheld... sanayan lang yan..

Damay mo naman ako dyan sa mga rakets mo so that I can learn din and maybe develop that 'eye' for beautiful angles. :

^ bro wala pa naman akong regular raket...

isa pa hindi naman kailangan ng raket para ma develop mo yung 'eye' mo lol (natawa tuloy ako sa ginamit kong term).. you can take shots anywhere... gusto klo kasi ganun eh..

tapos sa learning, gusto ko yung ako mismo.. after learning the basics, ako na nag eeksperimento ng mga gusto kong kuha... i mean without the need to know the official DOs and DONTs..

Yeah, di naman nga kelangan ng raket for that pero having a regular one would definitely boost the pace of honing your 'eye' kasi kung may constant raket ka, regardless kung bayad or hindi, constant padin yung learning mo. As for me kasi I barely have time na to go on shoots. :|

Yes, may IS. Meron ding non IS. Much cheaper.

Useless eh kasi late na ko nakakauwi ng bahay and maaga naman ang alis kinabukasan. And medyo naumay na kasi ako sa inanimate objects and what I want to develop and practice is yung may mowdels.
