Who's into PHOTOGRAPHY here as a hobby?

anong magandang entry level dslr sa market ngayon? gusto ko matuto magphotography as a hobby. I don't plan to be a photographer.

Photo-hobbyist here.  I'm just using Panasonix Lumix LX5 because:
1. Yun lang afford ko
2. It fits in my everyday bag.

Since hobby lang naman, masaya na ko sa little camera ko.   Nag-upgrade ako from LX3 and so far very satisfied ako with my LX5.  You can check my photos under Photography + Travel tab in my website.   Photos posted were taken using LX3.  Haven't posted photos using LX5 *laziness*

I also have a Lomo camera pero pahirapan sa developing.  My next target is an Instax camera.  Nag-iipon pa ko

Actually back to film na naman ako... haha and it's a good thing I have found Hidalgo as a place to find affordable films that cost LESS than 100 pesos. But if you want to look for rare films such as Velvia, it's recommended sa Lil'whims sa The Collective, Makati (:

I used to have a Canon 60D. But recently bought a Nikon V1 mirrorless. Nabu-bulkyhan ako and sobrang bigat ng 60d, or kahit anong dlsr for me that I can't just put it in my bag for everyday photog. You have to have a separate bag pa. Another thing is that I don't need a semi-pro/pro camera pa naman, I'm just an enthusiast and andami ko narin pinagkakaabalahan ngayon so I switched to a mirrorless. I haven't regretted it since. It's perfect for bringing it anywhere, and the quality is great. Of course not that it's comparable to 60d but it's still amazing. Hinihintay ko nalang eh ang maglabas sila ng 50mm para perfect na.

Ever since I started my blog I've been enthusiastic with photography. Good thing my hubby knows a little bit about it since this was his hobby until naging super busy na sya. I use a Sony Nex 7. I like it kasi it's very compact unlike some of the bulky DSLRs I've seen. I'm planning to take up some basic lessons, just waiting for some free time.

At first I wanted to get a DSLR kaya lang bigat talaga dalhin specially if you like to travel light like I do. Kaya I opted to get the NEX7 since it is very compact (pwede ko i-shoot lang sa bag ko) compared to a DSLR and it does take nice photos too. Well, pwede na for someone like me na starting pa lang.

read the manual first. madaming available sa youtube and google pero most helpful pa din ang manual specially for beginners kasi you'll understand your camera's function and features through the manual. important na ma-gamay mo muna kung san located yun mga menu/options.

d5100 was my first camera and definitely it helped a lot na mabasa yun manual. i learned to locate yun mga options unlike when i bought my 2nd dslr, tinamad na ko basahin un manual. feeling marunong lang

I'm also into photography as a hobby. May Canon 60D din ako but the last few trips I had di ko na sha dinadala kasi ang bigat tapos it's a pain in the rear pag papalit palit ng lens. Ngayon nag rerely na lang ako sa iPhone and my old digi cam kasi suksok lang sa bulsa ok na.

Parang nice nga yung Sony NEX-7, maki Canon kasi ako eh

Kung sa DSLR, I prefer Canon. I just prefer the look, simplicity, and how the buttons are laid out. Malinis tingnan.
