Sis, pede ka rin magsearch ng models ng slr na babagay sa needs mo, kasi merong slr na naka.focus lang on landscape, portraits, macro etc,, anong klase ba ng photography ang gusto mong pasukin at i.forte? O saktong hobbyist ka lang?

Like sa case ko, i waited for 2 years, bago ko nabili at nahanap yung slr na magssuit sa needs ko.

ganun ba sis, siguro more on hobbyist lang. okey naman sa akin ang sony dgcam ko, kaso iba pa rin yung linaw ng slr

iba talaga ang dslr sis. i started with just the kitlens... tapos i bought 55-300mm for bird watching... after ilang months... i find myself enjoying more on portrait photography. so nag prime lens na lang ako 50mm 1.4. sobrang enjoy sis.

nice yang nikon d5100. may tilt and swivel yung LCD. HD movie capability. it's good for starters or just enjoying your dslr.

kakabili ko lang ng nikon d5100 dito sa SG nung IT show. sino sa inyo ang may alam sa d5100? any tips mga sis

d5100 user here. tip #1: read the manual hehe.

yan actually ang turo samin sa FPPF. madami dslr owners ang di nagbabasa ng manual.
dami reference sa internet kung sa photography. actually malulunod ka sa dami. pero don't just read....shoot! kasi kahit mabasa mo and di mo magagawa in actual wala rin. tsaka importanteng ma-critic un photo mo kasi dyan ka matututo.

isa na ako dun sa hindi nagbasa ng manual ^^  ako rin hobbyist lang.. nagsawa na ako sa portrait .. gusto ko naman ng mga landscape .. kaso ang mahal ng lens ..

Hi , I tried doing a research on resolution (dpi/ppi) from a digital camera
anyone who knows how to shift a digital resolution of 180ppi to 300 without using photoshop?

^sis pinkk di ko masagot ang tanong mo kasi di ako naging concern sa ganyan pag nagtake ako ng photos lagi kasi yung size ng image ang check ko.

I am a hobbyist, i enrolled in FPPF sa loob ng fort santiago ang workshop then dun na din ang photo shoot...that was 5yrs ago pa. Nung nag start palang maging fad ang photograpy. Pero ngayon kaliwat kanan na yata ang nahihilig sa photograpy because of facebook. Had my DSLR wayback then, after magsulputan na ingay sa photograpy binenta ko na at naki gamit na lang ako ng camera sa kapatid ko.hehe

^Hi pls do check the FPPF alam ko may mga saturdays and sundays workshop sila, affordable lang. Nag workshop ako dyan ng basic,advance,digital darkroom. Sa fort santiago workshop then photo shoot dun na din.

Gusto ko ang photography bilang libangan lang kasi nagagandahan ako sa mga nakikita ko sa flickr lalo na kapag yung subject ng photo is about sa nature/sky.

Just got my 1st DSLR on the last week of March. Have been enjoying owning it so far! Mas mahirap with focusing kasi mas may tendency to blur pero at the same time, if steady yung hand pag-shoot, sobrang sharp naman. Nakaka-happy!

Anyone else here na medyo newbie?

I bought a Dslr cam last xmas and during that time i was so torn between sony and canon; i ended up buying sony. So far i loved it! I also love portrait and landscape photography. Planning to buy a point-and-shoot camera for those spontaneous moments/events when i dont have my dslr. Any suggestion mga sis? ^^

^sis, maski point-and-shoot mirrorless na din? Sa sony yun ba yung NEX cam line? Target ko din yun, may kamahalan nga lang, prang dslr na din price.

^Not sure about Sony pero I really considered getting the Canon EOS-M due to its size and portability. Pretty pa! Haha! Pero tama ka, the price is really in the DSLR range na rin kasi their sensors are mostly the same rin kaya mataas ang cost.
