When is the best time to resign and why?

IMO, the best time to resign is after you get your Christmas & Performance/whatever all other bonuses.  AND, hindi pa ko tapos.... AND you already haved another job waiting for you. 

Why?  Coz that is the most practical approach/timing.

yes trulaloo! wag mag resign ng walang sasalo,  i always think to resign kasi hindi na ko bilib sa sarili ko, feeling ko hindi talaga ito ang trabaho para sa akin, kaso wala akong ibang maisip na puntahan.. ewan naguguluhan din ako sa sarili ko?

i just passed my resignation letter yesterday. and the only thing i felt was relief! 

i've been wanting to resign since december last year but my manager asked to say because they promised that things will get beter. but then, the account that i was handling before didn't renew its contract. same thing with the current account i'm handling, march pa expired contract nila pero di pa nagrerenew, it feels like everyone's hanging by a thread. i'm about to get married next month and the only plan i have after my resignation is to rest for a couple of weeks before i look for another job. di rin naman pwedeng mabakante ng matagal. besides, i dont see myself as a plain housewife. hehe!

Best time to resign would be 1st quarter of the year, pag tapos na ibigay ang 13th month pay and mga bonuses    But make sure you already have something lined up--either sure na job na lilipatan, or a business na aasikasuhin or family or something.  Kasi kung dun ka pa lang maghahanap after mo magresign, baka matagalan ka bago makahanap.  But if ang plan mo talaga is magpahinga muna after resigning, then pwede yun.

happy chinese new year to all .. i just started my new job last january 10 this year.. and I thought na ok na...pero hindi pala..first... my boss ( a lady boss who owns the company) smokes a lot inside the airconditioned office.. i am her secretary kaya katabi ko sha.. super kawawa ako kase lahat ng usok sa akin napupunta.. nahihirapan nga ako kase merun akong asthma... imagine smoking sa loob ng Aircon room..grabe un dba? after office when i got home masikip ang dibdib ko at parang nakakalanghap pa ako ng usok.. at irritated and throat ko...very unhealthy dba? and the second thing my boss is very very perfectionist and  para shang dragon... Yes its year of the dragon na simpleng bagay lang ay mainit kagad ang ulo nya.. she is from a rich family at sometimes kapag ngsesermon pa sha.. ipaparamdam pa nya na ikaw ay mahirap..hahahayyy... wala pa akong one month..i want to quit already..please help me mga sis what to do.... thanks in advance......

^Sis, if feeling mo gusto mo na magquit, quit ka na as early as now and cite health reason as the cause. And make sure na may dala kang health certificate from your doctor para pulido.

Ako nga sis, dun sa isang company na pinasukan ko nung newly grad ako, nag-quit na ako agad sa 5th  day and hindi ko na sya nilagay sa resume ko.

Mahirap mag work, if hindi mo type ang environment, Ang hirap bumangon sa umaga.

ako nga after 1 night training, nagquit na.. lol! call center kasi and hindi talaga ako pang call center.. kahit na tempting ang offer.. 


agree! now pa lang, you better quit na.. yun nga hindi ka happy sa job mo, enough reason na yun.. mas lalo na kung health mo pa yun nakataya.. para san pa nagwork ka kung at the end of the day, sa medicine mo lang (worst hospitalization) mo yan mapupunta.. tumambay ka na lang sa bahay.. kahit wala ka kita, hindi naman nabawasan life span mo di ba? 


ang hirap ng may monster boss.. my boss in my 2nd job is like that.. though hindi naman ako nasample-lan, grabe magcurse pag galit..

Juskoday, ako, nabasa ko pa lang yung una mong sinabi about cigarette smoke, kung ako ikaw, wala nang isip-isip at tanong-tanong, quit agad!

sis kung di mo na feel at di mo na kayang tagalan mag resign ka na pero, tanong ko lang may mapapasukan ka na ba after niyan? anong plan mo? tambay ba muna or hanap na agad ng work? kasi sa totoo lang ang hirap kayang maghanap ng work, nakakapagod na nakakafrustrate pa pag di ka natanggap. so kung may lilipatan ka na magresign ka na diyan, pero kung wala pa naman at hindi ka naman nagmamadaling magwork ok lang na resign ka na then hanap ka na lang ng work., ako kasi mas prefer kong magresign kung may malilipatan na ko mahirap kasing matambay sa bahay,mahirap walang pera

thanks mga sis for all ur reply at mga advise.. Sad to say hindi pa ako ngresign.. Tama kayo concern ako sa health ko kaya hindi ko natiis at sinabi ko sa boss ko na hindi ko kaya ang smoke at me asthma ako at sumasama pakiramdam ko lalo na kapag ui ko na sa bahay... Akala ko once alam na nya she will stop smoking.. Binawasan [textspeak!] nya hindi na ganu ka sobra unlike before na nauubos nya isang kaha.. Pero ganun pa din me usok.. Maliban dun grabe pa sha mainitin ang ulo na boss... My first unforgettable experience was last friday.. I made a simple mistake.. He yelled at me.. Told me that i am g**o.. Throw her coffee at ihatay ang ashtray sa mesa nya ng sobrang lakas at maraming beses.. Tumayo sha lumakad ngdabog umupo sa mesa tinaas ang paa na parang nanghahamon ng away..showing thats shes wearing a boots.. Astig.. Im so afraid that time and she will never listen to ur explanation..i cant stop myself and i cry..went to the ladies room dun ko nilabas ang iyak ko..nanikip ang dibdib ko sa takot..akala ko kase sasapakin nya ako.. Sabi ng mga opismate ko dapat masanay daw ako kase ganun [textspeak!] ugali nya.. Marami na ngyari ganun telephone ihahagis...  hindi ko kakayanin end of feb aalis na din ako... Hay...
