di ko alam kung ano na problem sa digestive ko, this midyear 2011 lang ako nging constipated nag start siya sa loob ng isang linggo minsan lang ako mag bowel movement as in pag nag BM nman super tigas niya, :( this october i decided to consult a doctor finding was internal hemorrhoid grade 3, that time i had no enough budget for surgery because the doctor advise na tanggalin kc as in hirap ako umupo, tumayo dahil sa sobrang PAIN! :( and 3days after sbe ng nanay at tita ko bkti di muna magpa second opinion para meron ako basis then i agree to their suggestion, i met a doctor in st.lukes he was a doctor also in sta. teresita the finding he was gave ANAL FISSURE and he expalin to me the detail very clear, yung sakin kc malambot siya pinkish color na gilid ng anus nung hindi pa ako nagpapacheck up ang sa tingin ko it was external hemo kc never ko siya naipasok pabalik sa loob, umabot sa halos sinlaki ng GRAPES yung nabuo na laman sa balat nayun na natanggal ng doctor sakin and now eto na i just want to share my experience guys.. hope it can gives you an idea,

i had surgery one week ago, right now i'm not feeling well i'm still constipated so that the wound not heal.. i'm using faktu ointment as advised of my doctor in st.lukes it really helps can eliminate oozing, itching.. but still my every BM is not yet normal even if i drink more than 3 liters of water and eat vegies everyday right after my surgery, i talk to my doctor he said that it takes time to heal anal fissure because if your BM is still hard and not totally in a good condition the wound might not be healed so that it can cause of bleeding and come back again and again.. yesterday i started to eat prunes and and drink laxatives(duphalac) even if my stool is not so soft but every morning i had a bowel movement.. and now i'm hoping to get rid of it.

same tayo, :(

sis, im happy to say na one and a half month pain free na ko. :) sa healing process., i lose A LOT of weight, dahil takot na ko kumain dahil nga sa pain every bm. what i only had is, oatmeal sa morning, pineapple juice with fibrosine or c-lium (one or twice a day) noodles with soup and lots and lots of wate, chicken, or fish and gulay then duphalacm pag di ako confident sa kinain ko for that day.. ayun. thank God, gumaling naman ako after a month. working na ulit ako. :D

eto din battle ko these past few months :'(... am 6mos preggy with my 3rd child. Nun dalaga ako, constipated na din ako, but no so. and once na din ako nagpacheckup kase may nakita ko blood sa pupu ko, and accdg sa dr. may sugat dw sa daanan ng poop ky may bleeding pero [textspeak!] [textspeak!] dw un internal. and it was because nga dw matigas ang poop ko. for my first pregnancy nun 2006, di [textspeak!] ko nahirapan magpoop at all. I had my 2nd pregnancy last year 2010, un na super battle ko with constipation. twice ko nadala sa hospital kc sobrang sakit n tlg and hirap na hirap ko magpoop. I had fleet enema sa ER that time. discharge [textspeak!] agad after magpoop. My OB said, it was part of pregnancy na maging constipated, drink lots of water, papaya, fiber diet. Problem is ciempre, dahil preggy, need din ng iron supplement na nakakatigas din ng poop. She gave me din SENOKOT SENNA, pero to be taken as necessary lang. and FAKTU supository, in case na hirap pa din... FAKTU helps, kase nagiging smooth un daan ng poop.. i just take senokot pag [textspeak!] ko na talga kaya, takot kc ko sa effect sa baby. (though OB says its safe).
Now, am pregnant again, and here goes my battle again. last friday, super hirap na hirap talaga ako magpoop, i didn't went to work na. and hubby went home early kase we thought, pa ER na [textspeak!] ako, nakainon na ko senokot and put FAKTU na.. pero wala pa din. good thing, OB texted to use Dulcolax Supository... after 15mins, nagpoop na ko...matigas na maliit (parang poop ng goat)... ngaun, everyday ako nagpoop, pero konti lang and super sakit talaga... eat lots of papaya na din, and NO meat muna... fish and chicken sk veggies.. mejo nagimproved naman...
sorry for the long post...just want to share.:)

present din ako sa laban na to mga sis! ang hirap2 no? parang everytime na babanyo ka, napapakapit talaga ako sa wall ng cr kasi nga masakit. and nakakaworry na rin kasi magti-30 years old na ko and since birth ata e nakikipaglaban ako. lam nyo, i'm contemplating na nga to have my colon checked kasi masama yung hindi naeexpel yung toxins sa katawan di ba? yung colon cancer ngayon hindi na lang pangmatanda, kahit bata pa nagkakaron na nito. sana ok pa yung colon ko. feeling ko kasi maliit yung daanan ng stool ko kaya siguro lagi ako constipated. kasi pansin ko, mas malakas naman ako uminom ng tubig kay hubby and same level lang kami sa pagkain ng gulay pero sya, effortless kung magbawas. call time nya lagi every morning. haysh.

btw, i have also tried psyllium fibre. effective sya sakin. kaya ko inumin basta nakahalo sa juice. advise ng gastro, if you're taking c-lium daw, you still need drink lots of water. kasi ang trabaho ni c-lium is to absorb your body fluid. e kung konti lang maaabsorb nya, tendency is titigas yung accumulated fibre, mas mahihirapan ka dumumi. share ko lang mga sis who are on c-lium.  :)

Problem ko rin to since birth. Years before, I tried 1 dulcolax to relieve my constipation. Grabe 15 hrs after ako nag-poop! I also tried drinking 2 liters of water everyday, pero naging bloated lang tiyan ko, para akong butete, pero it didn't help with my constipation. I also tried bigerlai tea. For 2 weeks naging regular poop ko, then after that parang naging immune ako. The worst part of it, ito pa ata nag-trigger sa hemmoroids ko. So guys be careful sa mga slimming teas. Then i tried wheatgrass, pero after a week parang naging immune din ako.

When I had to undergo a procto, the doc made me take 4 dulcolax 8pm, 1 dulcolax suppository 4am the next day, and enema 6am that same day. Grabe, di ako nag-poop dun sa 4 dulcolax! Nag-poop lang ako after using the suppository, then pooped again after using the enema. Ansakit sa wetpu!

Right now, I'm still looking for the right remedy for my constipation na to the highest level na ata sa grabe.

Ganito naman na bowel movement ko ever since, 3-4days bago maka-poop that's why I feel bloated all the time. But now that I'm aging, it worries me. At feeling ko, this is the reason why I'm on the heavy side, kasi hindi nalalabas yung toxins out of the body.

wala pa rin akong solution dito that I can keep up with as a daily routine. I've tried warm lemon water in the morning, green tea after every meal, prunes, but still hindi consistent ang effect. Di ko kaya ang c-lium fiber, feeling ko it gets stuck in my throat hehe, but parang andaming good testimonies sa kanya so siguro I'll try to get back to it.

Gusto ko rin i-try yung ACV, pero hesitant ako, isn't it too acidic? Back to basics muna ako, water therapy starting tom and ubusin ko muna yung psyllium husks ko dito, I'll try the 1tsbp ng psyllium husk in the morning, and another one in the evening. Plus yung 3L of water everyday. Low to no caffeine so stop ko muna green tea, and apple and bananas kasi it has the tendency to harden the poop according sa previous posters. Tapos check, check, check my food intake, although ever since naman maka fish and veggies na ako. Tamad lang talaga uminom ng water.

If all else fails pala, loyal user din ako ng bio-fit (25% senna pods, 75% senna leaves). But not every single day kasi inaabutan ako sa workplace ng poop time, and ambilis ko ma-immune. So max na ang 1-2x a week na ginagamit ko ito. And sarap ng feeling after, success na bonggang-bongga. hehe :)

Share ko na lang din itong nabasa kong medical quote : "You are only as healthy as your colon".
Kaya all the more reason we should have regular BM :)

problem ko din to since bata pa ko, pero now i found the solution to it. sa umaga kelangan relaxed ako para makapag poop. so i really take my time eating my breakfast, di pwedeng rush. napansin ko kasi na pag nagmamadali ako or tensed, ayan walang lumalabas. i also need to drink coffee or tea sa morning and bread. so i really make an effort to wake up 30minutes ahead sa regular wake up time ko para relaxed ako while taking breakfast. minsan pag na late ng gising and male-late na sa office, i chose to still take my time kaya ayun late sa office haha. basta after ko makakain na relaxed ako dapat, after mga 10-15minutes poop na. minsan naman right after makatapos, ayan na.

before yang sa taas, i also tried banana na lakatan or latundan? i couldn't remember pero kasi isa diyan okay sa digestion. kumbaga yung isa pampatigas, yung isa pang poop. naging effective naman kaya dati mukha akong matsing hehe then i also tried dairy products like yakult and yogurt. okay din to kaso di daw masyadong maganda ang dairy kaya binawasan ko and hanap ng ibang alternative. wheatgrass, naging medyo effective din.

it was a long battle with constipation for me. in my quest to find the solution, na try ko na rin yang c-lium, ang ending e naging bloated lang ako dito kasi may mga tao palang allergic sa c lium. dulcolax, mas lalo lang akong naging constipated dito kahit na naubos ko yung isang bottle di ako nag poop. acv, na try ko na din yan. biguerlai, grabe nawalan ako ng malay sa cr nito dahil sa sakit. pagmulat ko ng mata nakahandusay na ko. basta dati kung ano marinig ko, try ko haha malakas din ako kumain ng pineapple, pati pineapple juice. water wala din akong problema dito kasi since bata malakas talaga akong uminom. veggies, malakas din ako dito.

dati sa isang week, once lang ako nagpu poop, pahirapan pa. well, dati pabor to sa kin kasi nag dodorm ako and i'm not comfortable using the cr sa dorm (TMI haha). okay din pag may field trips tapos sa bundok bundok pa. pag umaga daming nakapila sa CR, ako wiwi lang talaga haha e nung medyo tumatanda na ko and mas naging aware sa health, ayun i started to worry.

to those who are still battling with constipation, goodluck! makakahanap din kayo ng katapat =)

hi sisses! count me in sa dilemma na to. dati hindi naman ganito pero lately napapansin ko mahirap mag poop. malakas naman akong uminom ng tubig, hindi rin ako masyado kumakain ng meat pero ewan ko ba. na-try ko na minsan yung biguerlai kaso hindi ko naman pwede i-take kapag weekdays dahil hindi ko bet mag poop sa office, nasa client site kasi ako and hindi kagandahan ang cr nila di gaya sa office talaga mismo namin. i have also tried yung c-lium pero ganun din, hindi ko pwede i-take pag weekdays. may masuggest ba kayong natural na pwede i-take and proven effective? dati na-try ko yung papaya sa gabi tapos iinom ng fresh milk. kinabukasan talagang walang kahirap hirap..  ;D

^ senna - could be in tea, capsule or tablet form. my preferred method kasi this never fails me.

bisacodyl - less stimulating than senna. comes in capsule/tablet form.

docusate sodium- stool softener. walang cramps unlike the first two.

milk of magnesia/magnesium citrate - in liquid form. tho may capsule version na rin. liquidy ang stools here, at walang cramps.

prunes or prune juice - safe for daily use, natural pa. half a glass works for me.

castor oil - super lilinisin ang bituka, hindi ka titigilan hanggat hindi empty. exhausting ito for me, tho occasionally i do this kapag super constipated ako.

Try taking perricone.  My sister had the same problem and it works with magic.  She had tried drinking tea, taking fibrosine, eating high fiber pero walang effect.

About two months ago once a week lang ako mag number 2. ;D Ngayon daily na, minsan twice a day pa! :) Pumayat tuloy ako tee hee!.

By the way, years ago di ako constipated. But when I started taking Abs na slimming, it messed up my poop schedule at mas dumalang yung poop ko when I don't take it. :( Sa mga sisses na di pa nagsisimula sa mga tea na pampa poop para umokay yung digestion, wag niyo na sana itry.
