One other thing I like about  boxing is you can go and train kahit wala kang kasama. Most of the time, I prefer being alone because I can concentrate on my training and routine. If friends are around, napapachika ka kasi eh  ::) If it was a light training day, I would love to have friends around.

ano ang baseline fitness requirement if you're planning to start boxing? interested ako dito dahil mostly legs ko ang naeexercise pang-endurance (walking, climbing) kaya parang magandang complement itong boxing for upper limbs and trunk. baka mabigla ang maskels eh kung sabak bigla :P

it's true that you can lose a lot of weight sa boxing, sis. problema lang is keeping the weight off. you have to stick to boxing indefinitely para mamaintain yung body mo. if you stop, tataba ka uli.

^well, no matter what type of workout, having a routine and incorporating it in your lifestyle is the key to maintain weight. kung magpapabaya ka eh babalik lang talaga sa dating weight. kung sawa ka na sa boxing, pwede ka naman magshift sa ibang workout that is accoring to your liking. plus syempre, diet is also a factor.

I agree with you sis sarsingkit, it's really commitment to exercise and I think lifetime na yun or else you will even be fatter than you used to be if you go back to the sedentary lifestyle. Dapat talaga galaw-galaw and eating right.  ;)

^^ I'll try this Saturday. I bought the voucher. :) Mukhang okay naman based sa FB page nila. Saka mas mura rates sa kanila. :)

what brand of boxing gloves are you girls using? :)
Thinking of buying pink Everlast gloves sana but it's 12oz, I'm afraid it will be a wee bit bigger for my hands or di naman?

^I use Twins 8oz and it has been my gloves for 7 years now.

I'd suggest you buy Twins or Fairtex in 8oz (if maliit hands mo) or 10oz which is just the average gloves for women.

^ Thanks sis! I find Twins and Fairtex a little too expensive na for me(nagkataon lang I found a cheap everlast deal but no na to 12oz)
Any other reliable but cheaper brands and where i can get them? 1k range lang sis. Thanks! :)
