Kame ni baby, on the way to Green Meadows, dun kasi ang reception ng binyag ng inaanak ko. So from bicutan to MOA, dun yung church and from there papunta na kame ngayon dito sa GM.

Nakausap ko na din pala si Ms. Apple, okay na ang host. Nakapagdeposit na ako kanina. Yey!

nagising ako mga 7, tulog pa siya, nakadapa. nagising ako ulit mga 8, gising na din siya at nakatihaya na.

dinapa ko ulit at sabi ko pakita niya sakin paano siya umikot. umikot naman!  tinawag ko daddy niya para makita din niya. ayaw na. napagod siguro. 

meron palang 3500 na host. sana yon na lang imbes na 11500 na alex l? pero sabi niyo worth it si alex l eh so sige na nga.  medyo umiiral nanaman kasi pagka fickle-minded ko at kagabi nagdrama ako na ang mahal ng party. halos 1 annual fee na yon ng VUL kaya nag-guilty ako. 

eh naghahanap ako ng mas murang caterer. dito kasi sa clubhouse namin parati kong nakikita na caterer ng parties ay si blue petals so naginquire ako. ang mura ha. iniisip ko para makatipid ito na lang kaya kesa passion cooks.  pero di ko pa sila natry eh. meron bang makakapagbigay ng feedback? mukhang ok naman menu nila. 190++ lang yung for kids, 240++ yung for adults. half the price ng kay passion cooks.  also waiting for other caterers to send me their packages.

ang gulo ko ano? really cannot decide eh. kasi ang importante naman is may party and ma-document yung party. gaya ng sabi ko, gusto ko ng party pero ayaw ko ng mahal na party.     

and pala. question regarding fees ni apple. kasi ang nangyari ang ginawa lang niya for me is to book alex l then i'm getting balloon decor for her. nagbayad na ako ng 8k, 3k to book her and to lock in the old rates and 5k to book alex. eh yung balloons na kukunin ko from here 4000+ ang total. bawas ba dyan yung 3k na binayad ko na o bayad pa ako ng 4000+ on top of the 3k?

jen, nagreply na si zoombox. book ko na siya at si marc. at si mychocolateheaven din. itong 3 nato di ko na titipirin. nag-confirm ka na din ng booking sa kanila? pero yung caterer, napapaisip ako talaga. in-email ko na nga din si verleo eh.

kim, the white shoes i got from mothercare yesterday, di ko napansin mas malapad yug isa. as in super halata! same length sila pero mas wide yung isa. weird. will have it replaced on saturday sabay kukuha na din ako ng cupcakes for bianca's 5 months.

Lisa, I heard of blue petals, I think nakapag-inquire din ako sa kanila nung naghahanap ako ng caterer sa binyag ni Y. From what can remember, sila ata yung caterer na as in daming hidden charges. Check mo na lang din 

Re marc franco, zoombox and mychocolate heaven - okay na ako kay zoombox pero wala kaseng pencil booking sa kanila, so need talaga mag DP to reserve the date (eh meet-up pa ang pagbigay DP, di ko masingit). Then, bukas inquire ako kay marc franco naman, sana okay pa date ni Y. Kay mychocalate heaven, na-note na din niya date ng bday ni Y and finalizing my orders na lang, then go ko na din ito. Yung 2, pwede na ako mag DP this week if maayos na, yung kay zoombox ang sana mahanapan ko ng time sa meet-up.

Re apple, less niya ata ng 3K sa total price ng nakuha mo sa kanya sis. For example 4K+ na ang total ng mga gusto mo, less 3K na dun, so you're left with 1K balance na lang. Di ka ba mag styro back drop sis? Basta ang sabe ni apple sakin, pag ang nakuha ko sa kanya is nag-total ng 50K, libre na ang OTD na coordination. Pag hindi naman, dun nya ako charge ng 3K if get ko service niya sa bday ni Y.

nyak. meet-up ang DP ni zoombox? saan pwede mag meet-up daw? di pa ako nagr-reply sa email niya. yung joaquin and juanito sa blog nila, yung 12k na package ang kinuha daw. kaya pala ang ganda. hehe. pero tingin ko ok na din naman yung 6500 na package

anong package kinuha mo kay marc? 6k o 9k? namahalan na ako sa 6k eh, what more sa 9k? hehe. ako na lang gagawa ng photo book sa snapfish.

wait, di ko masyado na-egst yung kay apple. yung 3k na  sinasabi mo pag di umabot ng 50k ang kukunin sa kanya is OTD coordination? kailangan ba talaga may ganon pa o kaya kahit wala? di ko nasama sa budget yan eh. 

check ko nga ulit yung email ni blue petals. pero mukhang ayaw ng asawa ko. sa kanya kasi mura = hindi masarap o hindi maganda.  inaantay ko pa queensland and verleo.

^ Lisa, oo sis meet-up! kumusta naman di ba? LOL! as if naman, kaagad agad eh pwede ako lumarga. Goodluck!  Bank deposit na nga lang, medyo hirap na ako isingit eh, meet-up pa. Pero gawan ko paraan yan since, gusto ko talaga zoombox. Naku, okay na ang 6.5K sis, yun ang inavail daw nung ibang sis na kinuha siya. Wala na ako budget more that than  Di ba nga, 100+ at konti butal na ako, di ko na keri ang 110K 

Re apple, ay hindi naman, okay na kahit wala OTD itself. Naisip ko lang if sakali umabot ako 50K, di ba mas okay at least free OTD itself niya. Pero feeling ko, baka di rin ako aabot eh, pag ganun, di ko din sya get kase sayang din 3K.

Re caterer, yun din ang paniniwala ni hubby ko sis. Mura = Di masarap. Try na lang Queensland or Verleo, pero kase mas marami not so good feedback Queensland compared to Verleo, kaya sa latter na lang ako. Yang Queensland, highly recommended yan sakin ng secretary ng Santuario De San Antonio, pero ayaw ko.

ay teka nga, di ko pa din nakita talaga mga photo works ni marc eh. check ko nga din site nya then pakita ko kay hubby.

check mo din sis ang focal point, alam ko okay din sila. Or, warren camitan (okay din ata price nya), michelle morelos, sophia photography and john aguas. Di ko na sinabe mga iba kase medyo pricey na. Budget ko nga lang sa photo is 5K eh, marc nga is 6K pala. pero okay na din lang sana.

Lisa - food ng Blue Petals para sa akin ok lang, hindi masama pero di rin naman super sarap na hahanap-hanapin ang lasa. set-up nila di maganda saka mga waiters daw tinatago sobrang food.
My Focal Point na-try na namin pero wedding saka family photo shoot. maganda kumuha si Chris, artistic din saka madali kausap and super bait pa.

Lisa and Jen, I think if your guests are less than 100, you can do away with a party manager (OTD coordinator).  But, make sure to designate a friend or relative who will take care of putting name tags on the kids and distributing prizes and loot bags.  I hired Apple as party manager on top of the things I got from her during the first birthday of my kids because we had more than a hundred guests.  But during the succeeding birthdays, hindi na kasi wala pang 100 ang guests.

For me, the focal point of the party is the stage so I really spend on the backdrop. Ayoko mang-Bi sa gastos pero iba talaga kapag customized styro backdrop ang backdrop and not just a tarp.

Lisa, ang gusto kong photographers aside from Ging Lorenzo (on maternity leave) are Warren Camitan, Ces Kasilag and Cristine Rodriguez (Little People Lifestyle Photography).  Okay din daw si Michelle Morelos plus she's pretty pa, but I am not so familiar with her work.  John aguas is highly recommended also.

Re Queensland, maraming negative feedback, plus ito yata ang may add-on charges for linens, swags,
etc.  Yeah, you get more quality, not just the food, but the set-up and over-all look of the event, if you spend more for catering.  Iba talaga.

Naku po, di type ni hubby si Marc Franco! jusmiyo! Buti na lang pala chineck ko ulit ang photos!  Mas type niya si Warren Camitan or Ces Kasilag. Same pala sila na from Image Warehouse Photography? I will inquire tomorrow regarding their rates. Sana eh pasok ang budget ko. Sabe kase ni hubby, iba daw ang hobby-ist na kuha ng kuha lang ng shots, kesa yung marunong talaga sa kiddie parties, kaya dapat daw marunong sa kiddie parties ang kunin ko.

type ni hubby. gusto kasi sana namin preferably yung isang team lang photo and video. or magkakilala. for some reason, mas feel ko yung ganon kasi at least they know how to work together.

i get what you mean about catering. pinababaan ko na nga yung kay passion cooks, sabi ko 400-450 net per head. eh kung gawin ko pa kaya yang 350net per head? ok pa kaya? still waiting for their reply eh regarding costing of the custom menu.

styro backdrop - so unfriendly for the environment.  but will ask apple. maliit lang kasi yung venue. this is our clubhouse. it's the best photo i could find on the internet.

dette thanks super dun sa link. same with mommy marose, mas nasa puso ko ang sesame street circus theme dahil mahilig ako sa colourful anik anik or siguro rin kasi mas madali i-execute ang sesame street circus theme.

parang wala akong maisip kasi masyado na magandang colourful pakulo sa noah's ark, might need to do more research to be fair with hubby's suggestion. yoko naman kasi na sabihin nya puro gusto ko nalang masusunod.

rant lang ako:
naiinis ako dito sa house lately, yung officemate kasi ni hubby andito yung mom and 2 siblings nya and they're staying here until 12th. now the thing is, the mom! kaloka, sige fine maglinis ka ng house dahil bored ka, pero yung galawin mo yung ibang gamit dito sa bahay ng walang paalam is something that's getting in my nerves lately, sa lahat pa naman ng ayoko is mga taong d marunong magsabi. like kanina i did the laundry, only to see half of our hangers are GONE. then i realized kaninang morning nung nakabukas yung room nila nakita ko meron mga nakasampay sa bintana na mga damit nila na mukhang pinapatuyo. hello, magpaalam pwede ba? then yung door nila, alam namang may baby dito, mano man lang hawakan ang pinto pag nagsasara para hindi hanginin yung pinto at d magulat anak ko. sus common sense nalang... then sa sobrang bored ng nanay, pati yung mga curtains sa sala binaba nya, eh we don't put it down kasi para d masyado maalikabukan & d naman tumutulong sa chores yung 2 kasama namin sa house unless masita ko.. pati yung storage area pinakialaman rin, eh andun yung shoerack. nawindang tuloy ako hanapin yung slippers ko kanina when i was about to go out. and ang isa pang kinagulat ko is, we never knew na ganun katagal sila magstastay dito ni d man lang nagsabi. kainis, may mga tao talaga minsan na d marunong mahiya

^GRayce bakit sila jan sainyo nagsstay? Mejo parehas pala tayo pero yung samin naman relatives, 2 anak ng cousin ko na sobrang gulo at pili sa food nakakaiirita. Naiinis pati ako kase pinapakealaman yung toys ni Zoe tapos ang dudumi ng hands. Hayy!

Re: Ces Kasilag, teammate sila ni Warren.. I got Ces nung binyag ni kyle and Warren for 1st bday.. sayang hindi available si Ces. I was suppose to get Ces again pero di sya available. Fave ko ang photo book na ginawa nya nung binyag ni kyle.

Grayce, isa yan sa downside pag meron housemate.. mahirap talaga lalo na pag may baby tayo. Kaya mas ok siguro na either 2BR na lang kunin nyo or 3BR pero occupy nyo 2 rooms and have the other room rented out pero isang tao lang.

Alam mo, totoo ang sabi ni Pia.  Gusto ko pareho sina Thor at Carmela of Thorprod kasi ang babait nila.  Video pa lang na-try ko.  Masaya ako.  Kung fast food party sana kami this year, kukunin ko ang photo/video nila, may promo sila last November.  Kaso, ngayon, iniisip ko hindi ko na siguro kailangan ng p/v kasi 10 kids lang talaga balak kong invite.  Si hubby ko na lang magkuha ng pictures.

Pia, si Joefe nag-recommend ng hostessblog.com for party ideas na puwede ko i-DIY.  Tapos, habang nag-se-search ako sa dessert buffet/table, nakita ko ang Vegas-themed party.  Aliw, di ba? May iba pa kong sites na tinitingnan ngayon for dessert table.  I don't want it to look too girly kasi.  But definitely, the dessert table will be my project for the birthday.

grayce, hindi ba dapat nagsabi yung housemate nyo kung gaano katagal mag stay yun family nya dun? alala ko nung nag visit kami sa SIL ko dyan, as much as possible, di kami magkita ng housemates nya e! wala lang, less kita, less mistake di ba? hehe! pero on the brighter side, at least di ba, nalabhan/nalinis na ang curtains nyo!! nilito ko sarili ko mga sis di ko alam if mag gymboree kami or yung school sa may kanto (fun-d-mentals) ang enrollan namin this summer. 16k per month dun sa latter, regardless kung everyday or thrice a week ka pumasok -- summer rate kasi -- lumalabas 800 per day. yung gymbo 4.3k + 1.8k membership for 1 month, 4x a week; so mga 1k per class. whatchatink?
