Hi sis! I was initially looking at Tagaytay for wedding and reception but na turn off kami sa traffic. We ended up sa Sta. Rosa area, sa baba ng tagaytay (Nuvali). You may want to check out areas there. I made a list of the venues I went to such as Alta Veranda, Rekados cafe, The Hills @ silang, Teofely Gardens and Hardin ni Maria. We ended up getting Alta Veranda. Church ko is St. Benedict Westgrove. If you dont have a church yet i'll recommend my combination

Help me choose mga sis.

Oo nga 1 event per day lang sila. Kahit Pavillion lang irent mo, allowed ka ng photo op sa Garden area nila.

Ang question ko may OOT fee ba ang mga suppliers kapag Antipolo area na? Puro dun kasi yung nakikita kong magandang venue. Yung picturesque talaga yung place.

Madaming maganda sa Manila area, pero sa loob ka lang ng venue talaga, walang photo op around the area eh.

Now ko lang nagets bakit most of the brides are choosing Tagaytay.

hi sis @hermione28, hindi sila exclusive kay tamayo's..pwede kang magdala ng sarili mong caterer..tska yung venue is malaki, hall type sya that can accommodate 200-300 pax. anyway, suggestion lang..hehe

hi sis @B2B2016 , villa ronar is nice too..they have caterer na mura and maganda styling.. i know someone from there gusto mo recommend kita so she can meet you to explain their package?

^been there sis when we were looking for a venue last year may event sila that time kaya nakita namin yung styling maganda din naman saka may mga packages sila. 2 function rooms up (with a/c) and down (no air con). si kaki bytes ang caterer nila.When ang wedding mo at saan ang church mo sis?

This might be a stupid question but I need to make sure: if your venue already includes a l&s system, is it safe to assume that it will be enough? Siguro naman yung ibibigay nila passable na for their own venue diba?

Let's assume muna that we won't be getting a band.

Another question mga sis, mababa ba ang ceiling ng Pavilion sa Mango Farm? Kaya bang lagyan ng full drapings?


Sis whutup - depende sis kung nakalagay ba is Basic lang. I've read somewhere na like Sitio Elena, nagpapadagdag sila ng 4k para sa mas magandang L&S

^sis, nakaattend ako FT sa Mango farm last Dec. Maganda na yung venue itself, sa pagkakatanda ko, parang mababa nga yung ceiling if magpapalagay pa ng drapes. di ko din masyado sure sis. Pero maganda yung setup ni Quidos (without the drapes) nung umattend ako, though di lang swak yung food.

Sis hermione28, thanks. And ibig ko sabihin, maririnig ba ng lahat ng guests yung basic? Or hindi rin? Parang weird lang kasi na isasama nila sa package kung di man lang sapat para sa venue nila.

There are covered areas which they rent out separately but basically everything is just open air.  We rented the whole estate for the whole day (well til 11pm). The bridal suite comes with it.

Could I just update this? Kagagaling ko lang ng Intramuros, nagOcular sa possible reception venues. Back to square one na naman ako sa venue. Dito ako galing so far:

1. La Castellana - ang laki ng space! Ang ganda nung touch-up area! Malinis ang restroom. Sir Christian is accommodating as he tirelessly & patiently answered my questions. To lock in the rate, one month after payment of reservation fee worth Php10000, you should be able to pay 50% of the total amount of the package. Top contender ito but the payment "schedule" makes us a bit hesitant. Madami pa kasi pwede puntahan yung Php100000 namin IMO.

2. Teatrillo/Casa Blanca - I thought ok na ako sa Teatrillo, pero no pala. The place gave me the creeps di ko alam bakit e tanghaling tapat naman at kasama ko yung guard. May smell din ng air freshener na parang naiwan sa place. Di ko feel yung restroom, mababa ceiling baka mauntog yung ibang matatangkad na guests. Casa Blanca looks more promising kaso the AC units are a bit old, mukhang magdagdag kami dito ng air cooling units. Ngayong nakita ko na sila pareho, mas pipiliin ko na yung Casa Blanca. No touch-up venues ito & if you want one, they'll refer you to White Knight Hotel which costs Php1000/hour daw.

3. Casa Marinero- the place is newly renovated & sadly, they no longer accept wedding reception reservations.

4. Patio Victoria - talked to Ms. May & their wedding packages are workable. Napansin ko lang she kept on pushing the garden venues (Sofia & Diana, I think) but fiance insisted that we get an indoor reception. She took me to their banquet which was a long narrow hall & can serve 150guests tapos the food will be outside the hall. Di ko nainspect yung restroom for the guests. May touch-up area din with own toilet & bath. As for crew meals, pwede sa kanila yung oorder ka sa iba & they'll set up a table for the suppliers. Possibly our 2nd choice.

5. Barbara's- Ok din naman ito kaso no touch up area rin, at yung amount nila for the guests e food pa lang, wala pa drinks. Plus 120/pax for refillable iced tea. Di ako pinapasok dun sa hall nila for 150 guests kasi may taping daw dun si MMDA Sec. Tolentino this afternoon. Nakasilip naman ako & it's U-shaped. Medyo dikit din yung tables & chairs. Covered monoblock chairs ang gamit nila & if you want to use Tiffany chairs e may makukunan sila but they didn't specify how much so baka mabigla na lang kami ni H2B. They don't allow bringing in of food (gusto ko sana magpasok ng milk tea & ice cream, di raw pwede) kaya yung suppliers will have to get the food from their ala carte menu at di na matutupad yung gusto ko na kumakain na yung guests while waiting for us.

6. Ilustrado - Interested in getting SinagTala ballroom at maraming suppliers na nirecommend si Ms. Jet. She wants to know sinu-sino lahat ng outside suppliers na dadalhin ko so she can compute the corkages/additional fees. Unfortunately, di na kami umabot sa anniversary promo nila so ang freebie will be pass-around cocktails (pwede na) & others. 3rd choice namin ito.

P.S. Didn't check out Villa Immaculada na. Newly renovated din yung hall nila but I have attended a reception held here a few years ago & di ako nasarapan sa food nila. Di rin naman nangangahulugang I won't consider them. We'll see.

^kung nag-out of town wedding ako, gusto ko sana sa Casa San Pablo or Sonya's Garden. kaso we preferred to hold our wedding sa malapit lang sa mga bahay namin kasi madali kami mapagod sa byahe pareho. tsaka inisip ko talaga yung convenience ng mga guests namin, halos lahat from around Metro Manila. so kung Laguna or Tagaytay, baka kailanganin pa magprovide ng acconodations. di naman din pwede na magtrim down ng guests to mga around 50 persons lang kasi marami talaga ang relatives ko, kasi big family sina mama. at super close talaga, marami mahuhurt kung mag-intimate wedding.

Marikina ako tapos Pasig naman ang husband ko, we got married in Cainta. walang nagreklamo na guests kasi 330pm pa lang uwian na.

^siguro punta na lang ako sa Casa San Pablo for a family vacation.
