I have a question though.. Parang mahina kami in terms of the 'evidence' needed. Kasi my fiance (then bf) was studying in the US back in 2006 came home for a vacation and when we met dun lang naging kami. He had to go back then go out of the US to work then only went back this April. He has stayed here for a long time though. Kahit may pictures kami of our trips to SG, BK & China, we don't have any written things like snail mail or cards. We don't have the receipt of the ring kasi pinagawa pa siya though I have pictures of when he proposed. What he has is a tall stack of phone cards he accumulated from calling me before and now puro kami Skype or Magic Jack. We don't have emails or chat logs either kasi may app naman siya sa cellphone na libre SMS and I text his Globe number. Mainipin kasi kami pareho so rather than log in on chat, I'll just call him or vice versa. If we start now, aabot pa ba yun sa pagfile namin eh sa isip ko kasi "snail" mail nga siya. Pasensiya na the last time i tried snail mail was way back in grade school sa mga penpals ko pa so I'm definitely clueless on how it works now. I'm also stumped on how to show that we're communicating eh magkasama naman kami dito sa manila for the past year. Pano na kaya? Any advice would be appreciated

During my interview last July 11, madami din kami pi-prepare, as in toxic! isang backpack ang dala naming evidence, 100+ pics, logs sa FB (nagpaprint ako ng webpages) kasi hindi naman kami nagcha-chat kasi magkasama kami dati sa Pinas, lahat yun, hindi na tiningnan during the interview.

btw, I PASSED the MEDICAL at st. lukes, and VISA APPROVED na din! na-interview ako sa US EMBASSY last September 13, and i received an email from US embassy na na-issue na visa ko last Sept 14. hopefully tomorrow or sa monday baka mareceive ko na ONHAND yung visa! I'm so excited..

mga sis, need help po. actually, it's my aunt who is asking for help. kasi her bf is in the US. need niya ng agency to help her assist with the fiancee visa. nasa Surigao kasi siya ngayon and magffile na sana sila ng bf niya sa october. may kakilala ba kayo na agency? meron daw sila natanungan pero 8 months daw ang hintayan at aabot sa $3000 ang babayaran. they are expecting na mga 6 months lang ang hintayan ang at most $1500 daw ang babayaran. i really don't have any idea about this. sana may makatulong po.

may friend ako sis ang ginamit nila na agency online. reliable naman daw saka mas affordable. working ba yung aunt mo? kasi kung hindi naman, pwede siguro kahit siya na lang mag asikaso, though i admit nakakalito talaga at nakaka stress ang Fiance petition! grabeng hirap at sakit ng ulo ang pinagdaanan ko.

@freeswan: 299 USD lang charge nila all in na yun, whole process. pero syempre iba pa yung mismong babayaran sa US embassy na visa fee, recently binayaran ko sa visa fee is 15,050 pesos(it depends sa peso- US dollar exchange). medical sa st. luke's 9,174 pesos. baka mas mahal na ngayon since mababa ata peso ngayon.

^oo nga sis, US based ata yung site. siguro pwede yung fiance na lang niya ang mag coordinate para sure din. pero i asked my friend and hindi naman daw scam yung site na yan. pero para sure na din, i-verify na lang sana ng fiance ng aunt mo sis. 

yung fiance ko humingi din ng tulong sa agency nung inaayos evidence of support. pero sa hawaii nga lang yung agency na yun, 100 USD din binayaran ng fiance ko sa agency na gumawa at nag prepare ng evidence of support..

buti na lang din jobless ako nung inasikaso ko fiance visa kaya nakayanan naman. mas madali kase pag jobless dahil free ako everyday, lahat ng time na sa akin. hehe.

Yung tinutukoy mo ba sis is NBI clearance? Mas ok if ang purpose is: travel abroad or TRAVEL to USA(ganito yung sakin and inaccept naman ng US embassy). Pag nag work or tumira ka sa ibang country you also need a police clearance. Sa case ko since dito lang ako sa pinas nag work, enough na yung NBI clearance

@nickel18, what itsmekmia said. Get NBI with a FOR TRAVEL TO USA ang purpose. If you haven't stayed at least 6 months sa ibang bansa pwede na hindi ka mag kuha ng police clearance sa country na you work/stay. But if you were there at least for 6 months kailangan talaga may Police Clearance ka sa kanila.

@freeswan, if you're aunt and her bf can do it on their own. Much better. Less gastos kasi than hiring an agency. And it's very easy to do naman. They just have to follow the steps.

Ang hindi easy gawin if may complicated situation sila or probs sila sa financial sa bf nya. Or if she is out of status here in US meaning nandito siya sa US nag T-TNT. Other than that, if everything is just normal, okay lang e-follow yung steps. No need for an agency.
