Para may option lang din yung ibang gustong magpakasal dito sa Pinas if ever. WE got married December 2010, filed the petition for spousal visa March 9, kasi sobrang busy tapos medyo natagalan kami kasi yung marriage certificate namin na NSO copy matagal na-release, sa Pangasinan na kami kasi nagpakasal, kung san kinasal parents niya.

Heto po ang timeline namin

March 9, 2011 - submitted i-130 (CR1-visa)
March 14, 2011 -  requested additional evidence of relationship
May 16, 2011 - follow up sa US Embassy, got email Approved
May 25, 2011 - got my manila case number thru mail
May 25, 2011 - faxed my ds-230 Packet 3 ata eto sa iba
June 3, 2011 - interview date set
June 10, 2011 - medical st. luke's extension clinic
June 13, 2011 - medical for OB and psych referral
June 16, 2011 - last day of medical; got cd of x-ray
July 11, 2011 - interview na

^wow, thanks for sharing sis. ang bilis din pala ng spouse visa ngayon? mas mabilis pa kayo sa fiance. hehe. nagtataka lang ako bakit yung kakilala namen inabot ng 2 years ang spouse visa e pwede naman pala mabilis. congrats sis and goodluck.

wow, so inspiring! siguro kaya minsan may mga thoughts ako na i want to give up na because 5 years na kami long distance. hirap kasi talaga. pero dapat talaga hindi ako mag give up kasi kung nakatagal nga ako maghintay ng 5 years what more yung ilang months na lang naman.

so that explains it. kaya pala tumagal yung sa kakilala namen kasi yung asawa niya sa US nag file. thanks again for the info!

^imagine sis 5 years kinaya mo, aminado ako kahit ako malabo yun. months palang kami gusto na namin to be together, hopefully 1-2 years waiting time lang na LDR. mahirap kasi eh. hoping talaga kami mabilis fiance visa process next year when he files. for now, enjoy ko muna Pinas, enjoy my job, be with friends and family for the meantime, in short gawin na lahat ng pwede while here.

^ako nga din, i can't believe na nakaya ko mag wait ng 5 years at maging loyal and faithful.
 sa totoo lang dami ko sinacrifice like social life, career etc. kaya sana matuloy at ma approve na to para hindi naman mapunta sa wala yung sacrifices. haisssst, bahala na. prayers na lang din.

was browsing to find out more regarding fiance visa application and i must say yung conversation dito is very much of help sa mga mag start pa lang mag file ng papers... just wana ask mga sis, kase since mag ffile pa lang kame, we are skeptical kung kukuha paba kame ng help sa mga firms na nag ooffer ng guide throughout the process or kaya naba na wag na lang..

was browsing to find out more regarding fiance visa application and i must say yung conversation dito is very much of help sa mga mag start pa lang mag file ng papers... just wana ask mga sis, kase since mag ffile pa lang kame, we are skeptical kung kukuha paba kame ng help sa mga firms na nag ooffer ng guide throughout the process or kaya naba na wag na lang..

i agree with sis lyn, makakamura ka pa if kayo na lang maglalakad. madali lang naman sis puro fill out lang ng forms and gather ng proof. ang status ko now malapit na ako magpa schedule ng medicals and interview. medyo kinakabahan ako pero kakayanin ko na lang.

meron ka ba facebook? may group kasi kame sa facebook regarding K1 visa and very helpful sila lahat dun. may isang gtalker din dito na member si sis rkstanton. siya yung nag add sa akin sa FB group na yun and sobrang helpful talaga! 
nakaka stress kasi talaga ang fiance visa. pero kaya naten to..

Hi sis, my bf also proposed and we're now planning to go through the same process (after getting denied a tourist visa twice heto na naman kami haha).He asked someone from the Immigration Assistance ba yun and they said best to get a spousal visa kaso one of his friends said mabilis lang naman daw talaga [textspeak!] fiance visa as long as you make sure everything thing you submit is in order. So rather than pay the $1000 fee which could go to my plane ticket, kami nalang gagawa on our own with a lot of reading, patience, sipag at tiyaga! This thread has been a lot of help pati VJ. Kaya natin to!

I have a question though.. Parang mahina kami in terms of the 'evidence' needed. Kasi my fiance (then bf) was studying in the US back in 2006 came home for a vacation and when we met dun lang naging kami. He had to go back then go out of the US to work then only went back this April. He has stayed here for a long time though. Kahit may pictures kami of our trips to SG, BK & China, we don't have any written things like snail mail or cards. We don't have the receipt of the ring kasi pinagawa pa siya though I have pictures of when he proposed. What he has is a tall stack of phone cards he accumulated from calling me before and now puro kami Skype or Magic Jack. We don't have emails or chat logs either kasi may app naman siya sa cellphone na libre SMS and I text his Globe number. Mainipin kasi kami pareho so rather than log in on chat, I'll just call him or vice versa. If we start now, aabot pa ba yun sa pagfile namin eh sa isip ko kasi "snail" mail nga siya. Pasensiya na the last time i tried snail mail was way back in grade school sa mga penpals ko pa so I'm definitely clueless on how it works now. I'm also stumped on how to show that we're communicating eh magkasama naman kami dito sa manila for the past year. Pano na kaya? Any advice would be appreciated

sa tingin ko, importante naman sis eh nagkita kayo in a span of 2 years. yun yung talagang tinitingnan nila kaya i think pictures from year 2009-2011 will do. saka ang basehan naman daw nila para ma approve at magka visa is yung affidavit of support. dapat mapakita ninyo na kaya kang suportahan ng fiance mo pagdating sa US.  kami nga na receive namen ang NOA2(notice of approval 2) pero ang pinasa lang namen dun eh pictures and greeting cards, letter of intent to marry. wala kami phone bills kasi thru skype lang din at globe tipid IDD card pag nagtatawagan.

nabasa ko din sa ibang forums ok lang naman daw kahit wala pang engagement ring. though kami may engagement ring nga pero wala din receipt kasi napaka traditional ng family niya, bale yung engagement ring namen ay na inherit niya pa sa mommy niya and yung ring na yun ng mommy niya e minana pa sa lola niya. nakakaloka diba? sana lang ma approve din kame sa mismong interview. update ko kayo mga sis.
