I'm not planning na to go to the S&R sale. Wala naman kase naka-plan na dapat bibihin don so I'll stay away na muna hehe.

Finally nag-start na ko with Zoe's 1st birthday party preps. I've pooled na my possible suppliers and have narrowed down the possible venues.  We're looking at Either Shakey's El Pueblo, Shakey's E. Rodguez or Fazoli's Eastwood. If we choose Shakey's kase, I wont get their party packages cus ayoko naman ng Barney theme for Zoe. I'm thinking of Luau kase and according to Shakey's, we can have a different theme kung hinde kukunin yung party package. Naisip ko kase mag-monster deal meals kase parang mas madame yon.

On party stuff naman, eto lang naman things that I'm looking for:

Cake - Swirls N Sprinkles
Photo Booth
Balloon decors and tarp
face painting
host
invitations
loot bags and prizes

Yung photographer will prolly be my close friend's brother who took the pics din during Zoe's baptism, free na yon hehe.

question mga mommies, plan kasi namin ni hubby to have baby's 1st birthday & baptismal sa manila, and as always, ako na naman ang in-charge sa mga kachorvahan for the party. nagiisip pa lang naman ako ng ideas but i want to know kasi roughly how much kaya roughly aabutin. pashare naman ng mga experiences nyo, mention na rin if it was done at a clubhouse or sa resto. ty :D

^Samin Grayce umabot lang ng 45-50k yung expenses. Christ the King sa Green Meadows yung binyag tapos Dad's megamall reception.

meg! i miss you! hehe.

super busy ka na Van ah? Ako naman I was thinking of Jollibee or Mcdo for Amber's 1st birthday. Yun lang kasi ang accessible for my nieces and nephews and other friends since most of them live in Las Pinas din. How much ang rent for photobooth?

^Yung kay Zoe kase simple lang. Wala din program or other things. As in ceremony and reception lang.

^^Brendz, may photobooth ako nakita na 4.5k for 2 hours

What's a nice non-character theme kaya for Zoe's 1st birthday? Was thinking of ballerina or butterfly but I'm still looking into other options.

Good morning mommies!  ;D

Nice ang ballerina theme  :D For my baby naman, I'm thinking of a Fairyland theme. Right now, I'm working on scouting a back-up caterer in case di nag-open Santuario for Passion Cooks. Happy Preps  :D

Grayce - nung binyag ni Y, mga 65K-70K nagastos namen kase priority ko talaga ang food so we ended up getting a venue and a caterer. Medyo pricey si PC, pero sulit siya for me. Simple lang din yun, no other decors or programs, mahal lang talaga ang food. We're getting PC ulit for my daughter's birthday naman!  :)

Here's what I have in mind for Y's birthday party.

Venue - Santuario; Bay 1 - Booked
Caterer - Passion Cooks (menu finalized) - Pencil Booked; open to La Comida, La Milagrosa or Verleo if venue doesn't permit PC talaga
Host - Alex L - Booked c/o Yanple
Venue Dress Up - Yanple Party Shop
Cake - Kitchen Krafts (simple 1 layer cake, ayaw ko na ng cupcakes for now); c/o Yanple
Photographer - Marc Franco
Videographer - Zoombox Productions
Lootbags - Divi/Toy Kingdom/ToysRUs
Giveaways/Prizes - Divi/Toy Kingdom/ToysRUs
Invitations - DIY
Face Painting/Glitter Tatoo - c/o Yanple
Food Carts; (fries, sorbetes and one more siguro) - c/o Yanple

Kaya ngayon pa lang, magtrabaho na! LOL!  ;D

Grayce, we celebrated his 1st bday and Christening seperately.. pero ang Chinese (na sana ginawa ko din) celebrates them on the same day.. we had Kathleen of Hi5 parties for both Christening and 1st bday. Christening sa Filipinas Heritage Library.. Theme was THE LITTLE PRINCE.. 1st bday party CANDYLAND sa clubhouse sa condo namin.. Tivoli Gardens.. both parties package kinuha ko kay Kathleen.. Binyag was 72 guests and 140k.. Bday party was 130+ (na dapat 90 lang) and it was 190k++..

3rd bday party ni kyle will be booked at Ark Avilon on January 2012 pa.. kaya i stopped inquiring kasi matagal pa.. hindi pala kami makakauwi 1st week of december..

Pag 5 months to go, dun ko book yung iba and then 3 months and hopefully one month to go, bayad ko na sila  ;D I didn't include photobooth and other side-entertainment na, maybe sa 7th na mga yun.

Next time, mag-over invite na lang ako lalo na Oct 30 is Undas days ;D

Most likely, sa house ang 4th birthday party because that is what my kids want.  Kahit sa house, gusto ko may theme pa rin and entertainment,  I'll probably invite their classmates from our village.  I might hire a storyteller like what I did during their second birthday.  Ayoko muna mag-arte haha, but we'll see.  As of now, Hindi pa ako panic mode.  Since my kids like books, I want a literature-themed birthday sana like Curious George or simply, books.  Bagay nag sana ang storyteller sa theme.  My kiddies naman want Spiderman on some days or heaven forbid, Tom and Jerry, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse daw for Milo, minsan Ben 10.  Nalilito ako!  Sino ba nag pipili, ako or sila na?  For the past parties, ako naman nag pumipili at conceptualize.  Hubby has zero participation in planning, except sa bayad LOL.

Grace, for the binyag, we spent around 100k, sa Christ the King parish center lang pero ginastusan namin ang food, catered by CVJ and Bizu for the dessert buffet.  Then, may mga arte pa ako like the invites (Printed Matter) and favors (baby cologne in personalized bottles)
and I got Ging Lorenzo to photograph the event.  Walang program.  120pax.

For the first birthday, we spent close to 150k for 180 pax.  Sa Valle 6 clubhouse.  Catered by CVJ ulit plus nagpa venue dress-up ako and may side entertainment from Apple.  Si Alex ang host.  Ging sa photo, John Aguas sa video.  2008 rates pa iyan.  Last year, we spent roughly the same amount for fewer number of guests, around 80 pax.  Passion Cooks nag kinuha ko plus Ging ulit and Thor for video.  This year, iwas muna sa party expenses.  I want a no-frills party kaya iniiwasan ko these days ang kids' parties na threads. I will brainwash the kids para Thomas na Lang nag theme LOL.

Tin, pia, nabili ko na.

Tin, pano ko bibigay sayo? Si pia sa june pa so itago ko muna to.

Marose, may caltrate a imported. 1300 yata for 600 caps. Can i get a referral sa nagr-read ng story? Thanks.

Grace, we spent about 45k for the binyag. 80 guests, santuario de sa jose and outback libis. No cake and decor though. Cupcakes and mini cakes ang give away.

Inggit ako sa 1st birthday party planning. I'm seeing my tita madre next weekend so tatanong ko yung sa good shepherd. I'm thinking jollibee party for them and maybe balloon twisting, or story telling. Thinking nga if i can sustain doing this every year.

Van, gusto kong theme candyland. :)

Nagastos ko total 65K for 110pax
