Regarding shoes - I looove shoes. I have so many pairs of shoes kase ayoko ng inuulit sya in a week not because sobrang arte ko (part na din..) but because I'm sadsad maglakad kaya kawawa ang shoes saken and hinde tatagal ang buhay nila pag araw-araw ko sinusuot. For Zoe, almost 6 months pa lang sya but she's had 4 shoes na. Feeling ko lang hinde complete ang outfit pag walang shoes.

Kim, there's Pediped in Hobbes and Landes but I ordered Zoe's Pediped from the US thru Multiply. Seriously, I'm so excited na para bang ako ang magsusuot, hubby thinks I'm nuts hahaha

Regarding driving - For the longest time, I preferred to be the passenger cus I can relax, do my make up etc while my hubby worries about traffic and walangyang drivers (sorry for the term). But masyado nako dependent sa kanya na minsan pag late sya makauwi from work and I need to get to work naman, nagagalit ako kase hinde ako maihatid. So I took driving lessons and now, I drive myself to work almost everyday (except on Wednesdays cus coding). At first, panicky ako kase I'm naturally magugulatin but when one night I decide to bite the bullet and drive to work without my husband. I was so surprised at myself cus sub-consciously pala na-pick up ko his driving skills just by being in the car. Na-discover ko din na mejo madiskarte din naman pala ko kahit pano

Ilan beses na pala ko muntik na mahuli ng mga MMDA kase hinde ko napapansin ang red light. Nasanay kase ako na mga animal drivers ang kasabayan ko sa Cubao. One time, an MMDA officer waved at me cus tuloy-tuloy pa din ako on a red light. Nagulat ako and I didnt know what to do so I waved back and gave him a big smile. Napangiti na lang sya and winave-off nya ko hahaha.

Hello mommies!

Gosh, maghapon lang akong nawala, thread 5 na! Anyway, grabe ang araw na ito! I went out to book Alexandra Clubhouse in Ortigas kaso bago ako makarating dun, susme! I accidentally bump into a taxi na bulok! Well, kasalanan ko kase traffic and I was fixing something inside my bag which is nasa passenger seat right next to me. Me bad! Buti na lang at bulok, so si Manong driver, hiningian ako ng 500 pesos! LOL! I could have called my husband na! Pero sa car namin, nagkalamat ang pantakip sa plate (that glass/plastic thing ata na ang tatak eh Deflector). Well, buti na lang yun ang nangyari. So ayun nga, di din ako natuloy i-book ang Alexandra since 3PM onwards daw ang start ng party dapat pag Sunday eh hubby wants a party starting ng 11am at from province pa most of our guests.

And so, from Alexandra tuloy kame sa Northeast Greenhills, since sabe ni MS Apple no need na daw sponsor, only to find out nung nandun na ako na need ang sponsor :-( In short, di ko din ito na-book kase di makontak ni Ms Apple ang sponsor. While in Greenhills, we dropped by Shopping Center and susme wala mga tiangge!  Since, I'm decided to book na talaga ang venue today, dinerecho ko na ang Santuario Social Hall  Grabe, super driver talaga ako today with baby and nanny as my passengers. Buti na lang behave baby ko at nage-enjoy sa views na nakikita niya 

At the end of the day, ayun ang Santuario na ang na-book ko. May accredited caterers sila ngayon and I have the list. But Ms Alice, yung secretary dun told me na baka accept na daw sila ng ibang caterers next month  So  by then, pwede na si Passion Cooks as my caterer. Sana! Sana! May mga lists binigay pero dun ko na lang post sa Kid's Parties na thread to ask feedback. Also, if any of you will hold any event there, book na kayo now kase yung Bay 1 (with stage) na I reserve for 6K, magiging 10K na daw next month 

Lisa - re strollers, ako naman I want girly na color kaso kase ang nagamit na namin na stroller is yung bingay ni SIL na Nano (black color), kaya ayun na ginagamit ni baby till now 

Madagdag ko lang, after going to Santuario, we went to GB and Glorietta and sinubukan ko ulit isakay si baby sa stroller, ang guess what?! Gustong gusto na niya ulit! Todo smile pa! So sana di lang ngayon, hanggang next time pa eh ma-love niya ang stroller niya.

Re brand conscious naman - I am brand conscious for some things ni baby pero sa clothes and shoes, not too much. And mostly naman gamit ni baby na damit or shoes is given by friends and relatives  Tipid na ako dito! Dami niya damit, so okay na ako till she turns 3 years old. Bibili din ako siguro pero not too much.

Marose - I also want to invest in good books! I got some Karen Katz books from Fully Booked last weekend. Sana madagdagan ko pa ng ibang books. My sister minsan told me to buy Grolier Logico, have you heard of this na ba?

Pia, ang maarte kong asawa binabasa ang company profile para malaman ang history. Matagal na bang gumagawa ng ganong product, r&d nila, etc. Kasi for example avent vs tommee tippee, sino may mas ok na r&d, ano yung technology na gamit nila. Mga ganong kaartehan niya.

Tin, ako may air purifier with humidifier. Yung air purifier purifies the air  , iwas dust mites etc. And yung humidifier naman makes the air less dry. Buy a device that measures temperature and humidity so you know the humidity level in your room pag naka-aircon. Di dapat lalampas ng 70% yata. Nakatulong sa skin asthma ng husband ko ying humidifier and sakin din, hindi na sumasakit ang ilong ko pag super lamig.

Kami sa gabi lang naka-aircon si baby. During the day, presko sa room niya so we open the windows lang plus electric fan.

Ako taga-south din, better living. Qc girl ako forever at allergic sa south kasi feeling ko hellacious lagi ang traffic. When i got married, sa paranaque kami tumira. We rented an apartment sa multinational village then after a year, we bought a condo unit sa better living. Now na-appreciate ko na ang south kasi traffic isnt so bad naman. And now i sometimes dread having to go to my parents' house sa banawe area in qc kasi ang traffic sa nagtaha at espana!

Pia, sa dati kong company 10-15% usually ang salary increase. Tax is 32% max nga but i've been lucky kasi from 2006-2010, 15% tax rate ako kasi petroleum. Ngayon 2011, 15% tax pa din kasi rohq naman.

Jen, wala ka bang kilala sa cedar crest? Ang ganda ng clubhouse nila!

Sa driving naman, i love to drive. Kahit traffic pa, kahit madaming bus at jeep. Buti na lang marunong ako magdrive. I used to live in qc tapos alabang office ko. Kung commute yan, ang daming oras kong masasayang sa bus! And i dont have to rely on my husband to drive me. Kung gusto ko punta mall st ayaw niya, pupunta ako magisa.

Jen, wow, super driver ka today!  I'm glad you have a venue for the party.  Re books, my kids have the baby pack of Time Life.  I've seen Grolier Logico though I have not really inspected the books.  I'll give you feedback after I've seen the books ha.  Karen Katz books are great!  I love Counting Kisses.  For babies, I recommend board books with few words.  Try to go to Booksale or Books for Less to find books at cheaper prices. 

Pia, big no-no ang air freshener and room sprays for kids prone to allergy and asthma. May point si Bong. Even fabric conditioner that smells too good are not advisable too.

Re humidifiers... ang recommended ng allergologist ng kids ko is HEPA filter for our climate.  When we moved to our house, the asthma attacks became less frequent, unlike when we were in a condo with poor ventilation.  I didn't buy a HEPA filter for the house.  But I'm happy na meron sa school ng kids.

Lisa, I can relate to you being a QC girl myself.  Up to now, I cannot imagine living in the South.  We bought a house near Ateneo for the boys to be near the school, though now I am having second thoughts on sending them there.     We used to live in Eastwood.  Oh, technically, our village is in Marikina but we enter thru La Vista, which is in QC.

Van, sa Booksale or Books for Less ko ata nabili yung Counting Kisses, less than a hundred pesos.

Maui, sis akala ko naman yung parang may sensor. Kasi dapat bibili ako nun, pero natakot ako. Baka kasi may dumaan na 'hindi nakikita' tapos magspray. Lol!

Tin, medyo mahal bili namin don sa air purifier/humidifier namin. sharp ang brand, 16k pero 12 months 0 interest sa ansons. before that, meron kami nung imarflex na cool mist humidifier. maliit eh, hindi kaya yung floor area ng room. tapos ang dalas kailangan idescale. pero mura lang yan. check mo baka naman ok sa requirements mo din. pero nakakatulong talaga siya. pero maganda din you get a hygrometer (device that measures humidity).

Van, tyagaan ang paghanap sa mga book sale. not all branches have the same stuff kasi. kaya pag may nadadaanan akong booksale or chapters and pages or books for less, i make it a point to browse na kasi baka may good finds. i also got a karen katz book na from chapters and pages, 150. eh i i figured kung 299 lang naman yung bago, i might as well get that kung wala akong mahanap sa book sale nung titles na gust ko. next project ko eric carle board books naman.

I have a question to those who had CS delivery. Did you experience yung spotting for 2 weeks? I tested naman and it's negative but the spotting is continuous. Hindi pa ako nakakapunta sa OB ko dahil maraming ginagawa. My friend said it's normal daw for CS women kasi sa healing stage ng wound sa loob. Anyone?

^^ i had a CS delivery sis. hmmm what do you mean spotting? like menstruation pero konti lang? that's normal, ganun talaga kasi major operation ang ginawa at may sugat pa yan. and what do you mean by nag negative ka sa test?
