Hello GT!

^ as long as you are paying, dapat talaga entitled ka sa benefits.

Kasi i was employed last year from feb to sept. tapos, stop ang hulog ko ng oct-dec. nabuntis ako ng Dec, so nag-voluntary ako ngayon for the whole year. Entitled ba ako sa benefits? Last week ng august ang EDD ko. Thanks!

due date is first week of april or even earlier. i already paid my philhealth for jan-june 2013. tapos june - dec 2012 me contributions din naman ako. june to august ako employed. sept to june 2013 - voluntary. i got married nun november 2012, hindi ko pa rin na change to married name yung philhealth ko. okay lang kaya yun? although hindi ako bed rest ngayon, hindi ako magkatime na pumunta sa philhealth na ibang branch kasi malayo, mahihirapan ako byahe or pila. sa galleria lingkod center ako nagpupunta kaso ilang weeks na silang offline. at nagagawa ko lang yun pag me kasama ako. okay lang kaya yun.

sis agatha19 i stand corrected. confirmed with my hospital na 9months daw required to avail pregnancy related cases. same applies sa newborn care package. cant avail newborn care pag di qualified ang momy sa maternity benefits too :(

sis! Bottomline is there should be 9monthly contributions for pregnancy related cases within 12month period prior to confinement regardless of membership status.

Hi all, I'm giving birth anytime this month, but last January lang pala ako na-add as dependent ng husband ko sa PhilHealth niya. I've been working online na for more than a year so 2011 pa yung last kong contribution.

Better to ask your HR.

MrsLuluyz, exact same situation tayo. Fully paid Philhealth. Due to give birth first of April or earlier. Got married last year but have not updated my Philhealth status yet.

I've put my maiden name/married name IDs, my marriage contract, and my proofs of payment in my hospital bag -- I think that should be enough. Actually, ayoko palitan pa yung name & status ko sa Philhealth kasi based on my last experience, the hospitals where I am try to deny Philhealth coverage at the teensiest loophole.

Thanks for the update sis. Mukhang employer mo pala ang may problem. Hehe.

Really is worth it to double check. Such things happen also in Pagibig and SSS - pag hindi naremit ng employer di magrereflect.

At least entitled ka na. You could enjoy Philhealth benefits at the fullest. Laking tulong yan.  :)

Haha. Iisa lang kasi Philhealth where I am, for sure mahaba pila. Sana same day ko lang din magawa lahat -- update status, change name, update dependents, and get the MDR. By the way, did you make yourself a dependent of your husband or did you do it the other way around?

Ayoko naman magpa-schedule ng much more expensive induced labor or CS just to accommodate her. Oh well.
