We celebrated my daugther's birthday last Oct 8, 2011 at Science Discovery Center, MOA. We spent around 120k for all. I took advantage of the package of SDC which included the cake with cupcake, invitations, hosting, 2 hours use of the event place, name tags, guestbook and 50 tickets to go to the gallery with tour guide and planetary show, tas nag additional tickets na lang ako for excess people na pumasok sa gallery. Good thing that they gave us free 50tickets for the planetary show only, which helped us alot. The catering costs us around 45k-50k for 130pax. Photobooth I spent only 3500 for 2 hours ( i got it their promo price). For souviners for kids, DIY lang ang ginawa ko tska puro food goodies lang.. Prizes of course ay galing sa DIVI.

I do not have a party planner, lahat ng budgeting tactics and supplier hunting tips I got from reading your posts (Thank you GT moms!). Here's the breakdown of expenses nung 1st birthday ni baby.

Caterer: Verleo - Php32070 (at Php210/head)plus 1400 seatcover. this is merienda cena for 155 pax. menu is birthday noodles, baked mac, boneless chicken teriyaki, pork bbq, drinks and dessert (no rice)
Food cart: Sweet Services - Php9700 (200 mini corndog, 200 big scoop ice cream, 100 iced tea)
Pizza Pedricos - Php5400 for 120pcs
Host/magician: Chayno - Php 8500
Face painting: Groove Paint - Php2500 for 3 hrs 2 artists, face paint and glitter art
Venue décor: Mr. Balloonatix -  Php 7480 inclusive of swags, styro backdrop, 100 balloonderitas, 1 clown balloon sculpture, cake arch
Lootbags: all edible (candies and biscuit snacks), bought brown paper bag (pandesal supot) from the grocery and had it stamped with circus elements, tapos DIY thank you sticker label lang. Stamp at Php250, paperbag Php60, lootbag contents Php1500

35 pcs foldable bags from a supplier in Bulacan - Php1300

Cake: Jen of ThePastryChef - Php 3000 + Php750 delivery fee (bottom and middle layer edible, top carousel made of styro)
Invitations: had the layout made by a mom from another forum, photo paper at Php140, envelopes at Php70, printing at home
Photo/Video: Zen Photography - Php9000
Photobooth: Fotomoto Concepts - Php5000+ from dealgrocer, gift from my SIL
Baby's outfit: Php1600
Table Centerpiece: DIY tent, printables found online. DIY paper pinwheels din.
Tip: I am kuripot so 3000 total for the tip, nagthankyou lang ako ng nagthankyou sa kanila but we provided snacks for them nung setup pa lang. Host, photo/video supplier, facepaint and photobooth staff were also invited sa buffet table. Verleo waiters din we gave some leftovers sa buffet table kasi di rin namin makakain pag inuwi lahat.

Minus the sponsored suppliers, I think not more than 100k lahat. So far, all praises ang nareceive namin from guests. At hindi ako napagalitan ng mga "oldies" for spending this much kasi super enjoy daw sila and sulit na rin daw considering yung joy na naexperience nila sa party.

i agree sis marssie our guests said that my daughter's 1st bday party which was held last nov 7, 2010 was super bongga daw so everyone was expecting that we will have another party this year for her 2nd bday! but i told them that 1st and 7th lang may party. the rest puro simple celebration lang with our immediate family and closest friends kasi mahirap ang buhay ngayon. hehe. and next year we are planning to have our 2nd baby na sana so we really have to save up

Wow, nalula ako sa ibang costs. Super mura pa pala nung sakin considering halos lahat ng elements meron din kami. Party is on Feb 25, 2012 pa but so far ito na yung contract prices namin.

Wow, bonggels ang mga budget here. Medyo tipid budgeting ako for my son's bday party so for my close relatives in leiu of gifts I asked help nalang for the party.

Overall I am satisfied that I met our budget without sacrificing the experience. The guests were saying it was very memorable because the Sala Room had billards and the guests had fun singing like rockstars well after the programme. Nakatipid din because I didn't have to rent sound system and projector anymore. My brother in law made the AVP and we watched it on the 50" TV.

Oo nga sis, kaya nga parang naguguluhan ako about may sons 4th birthday, next week na kasi ang till now di pa ako nakakapagdecide where to held it.  His First birthday kasi slight bonga lang pero sa restaurant naman 2nd birthday,nagjetski kami nagdinner lang kami ni hubby with our son and kasama byenan ko at 3rd sa house lang simple celebration but we invited some guest mga 30persons..This year,maganda ang pasok ng blessing sa amin financially, kaya sabi ko kay hubby try naman namin magpaparty then 5th and 6th sa bahay nalang again to prepare him for 7th since for sure naman magpaparty na siya every year sa school.  This 4th birthday niya kasi natapat ng weekend. By the way based on my computation ang difference sa party outside sa house is around 5 to 7k. Tapos day after his birthday may party din siya sa school... So hubby agreed naman, kaso kakabasa ko sa thread, nakikita kong 1st at 7th talaga usually ang pinaghahandaan ng husto hehe...nagdadalawang isip nanaman ako hehe.. parang at the back of my mind, ayokong may nageexpect na lagi ng bongacious ang birthday niya. Anyway, nasa 80% naman na ako na we'll do the party outside Basta i'll try to make the budget 40k lang.  To be in the topic, eto na yung nagastos ko so far for my son's birthday next week and i will just update nalang:

sa February na 1st birthday ng baby ko..sa Fun Ranch sana kaso mahal talaga so nag Jollibee kami sa Greenmeadows..nasa 18 thousand yung bill,45 guests kasama na kids..kasama na party hosts,kinuha namin lahat ng mascot,madami yung food at kasama na prizes and loot bags..nag down muna kami 3 thousand..after ng party saka na namin babayaran yung balance..
