@gypske, I think yung akin na 2k yung 6400. not sure though.

I think what happened here is you pushed the epilator too close to the skin. you should just let it catch the hair. pag masyadong dinikit mo sa skin, parang a little of the skin na yata ang natweeze.
Go for the rechargeable epilator, it is very convenient. there are sellers in sulit.

yep meron sis. Try SM appliance center doon ako nakakita ng Philips brand.

Sulit talaga ang epilator. Di ko na talaga kailangang gumastos sa waxing.

^ yung Braun kasi ang pinabili ko - overseas pa. Akala ko kasi walang epilator dito. Noong dumating sa bahay yung Braun na inuwi ng kaibigan ko (handcarried), saka ko lang nakita yung Philips na tinitinda sa SM appliance center dito sa amin.

Ang pangit lang sa naimport ay, yung mga parts. Pag nasira ko yung epilator mismo o yung mga accessories nito wala akong magagamit. Buti na lang at ok naman itong epilator - di ako nakatsamba ng defective na product. Hehe.

Mukhang ok rin ang Philips, based rin sa nababasa ko. Try mo na lang backread yung reviews dito na ng mga sisses tungkol doon. Mukhang ok rin naman yun.

For me i just use veet waxing strips on my legs. Nasanay na din ako. Soft and smooth ang results.  Am worried that epilator might give me chicken skin or make my skin rough

^ @ sis gil12,  epilators are for people with high pain tolerance talaga. lalo kung thick ang balahibo, lalo kung naging thick from shaving, iiyak ka safirst time of use mo ng epilator. Pero kung madami na maninipis lang ok na ok siya very tolerable. And i agreewith others here, dapat epilate after a bath

No you don't have to shave before epilating. what you do is trim to around 2mm hair length. the shorter the hair, the less chance it breaks when the epilator pulls it. if you dont trim, the longer hairs will easily get tangled on the rotating epilator head.

check online for epilator sellers. there are quite a few available in the Philippines.

Try after taking a bath. Sa experience ko rin mas masakit gumamit ng epilator kung hindi moist ang skin ko, as compared when you are out of the shower/bath na medyo moist ang skin.

Sis, yung problem is ayaw mahuli ng tweezer yung hair dahil parang nakahiga. or hindi mabunot dahil naglalaban yung epilator at yung stretchy skin?
