My friend gave me a Braun silk epilator as a pasalubong from abroad. I didn't ask her to buy it for me pero she knows that I often shave or wax my legs so ito yun pasalubong niya for me. Okay naman sya at madaling gamitin than waxing. I wonder how much ito kasi parang she ordered it pa from US kasi she stays in Qatar. Any idea? Parang gusto ko rin sana bigyan sister ko, e.

^^ Sakit nga niya sis.. Nilagyan ko lang ng powder para malessen sakit.. Gusto ko nga itry down there kaso natakot naman ako.. ^_^

before ako nagpa laser sa UA, wala naman ako chicken skin talaga since hindi ako ngppluck or shave, wax lagi, DIY. lol, ayun minsan nasusugatan parin ako sa first few use ko ng epilator. I found out that you have to press the epilator very lightly sa skin lang, halos nakapatong lang sya then slowly move back and forth, hindi ako nakukurot. hehe.

when I was also feeling a bit adventurous, I used the epilator "down there", my gawd, that was the day I regret I even entertained the idea. hahaha. ang saket. as in saket! iyak tawa ba. hehe!

Thanks sa feedback mga sis! Parang mas comfy ako gamitin yung flat na blade (di talaga ako sure ano tawag sa flat na iyon). Tatakot ako makurot ang UA skin haha

Sa legs, Veet for waxing gamit ko. Takot ako gamitan ng Veet ang UA kasi baka masunog skin ko.

I epilate my legs and underarms regularly, for me di hamak na mas madali at mas convenient ito kaysa waxing. Sana makahanap din ako ng epilator na may attachment for upper lip hair removal naman.

^^ sis yapee, yung flat is shaving head yun yung nakalagay sa  manual eh, same as shaving lang yun, though that's the one i use sa bikini line di ko carry yung epilator down there eh, oh and i read the manual of my epilator i have the philips satinelle soft na madaming kasamang attachments, yung shaving head is for bikini line saka para sa hair na hindi matanggal ng epilator head para smooth. the epilator head speed 1 pag sa ua, speed2 for legs. the epilator should be used on a 90 degree angle ibig sabihin dapat naka tayo hindi pa-slant, saka halos walang pressure, nung una lang ako sakit na sakit sa epilator kasi hindi tama pag gamit ko...now hindi na... hth

Lalo tuloy ako natakot sa experience mo sis _AiaH_.. haha.. Meron pa kayang nakapagtry gumamit ng epilator down there.. Nagsheshave lang kasi ako dun kaya mabilis lang tumubo.. Baka sakaling kapag epilator medyo matagal naman tumubo.. Kaso scary talaga.. ^_^

^ LOL. baka carry mo naman sis. hindi kasi ako nagwwax dun eh palaging shave lang pero sa sanay sa bikini or brazilian kaya nila since almost the same lang naman.

sa taas mo muna try, hehe. yung sa upper part dun, if di kaya wag mo na try sa mismong area.

^ hehe ako talaga di ko kaya super sakit eh... hanggang ua at legs ko lang epilator... nung sinubukan ko down there sa upper part lang may kagat pa ako na towel haha! kasi kung wala baka tumili ako sa sakit... kaya di ko na lang tinuloy... shave na lang, ginamit ko yung attachment ng epilator na pang shave walang sakit... though mas trip ko pa din yung regular na razor kaysa dun kasi yung razor pwede sa wet skin mas smooth ang skin pagkatapos kaysa sa shaver ng epilator na sa dry skin ginagamit, excited lang ako gumamit ng epilator that time kaya sinubukan ko hehe!!!

Sisses, what's a good epilator (in terms of result and price)? I've been in to waxing for a year and I figure baka mas makamura ako pag bumili nalang ako ng epilator.

Yup, its a good buy.. braun.. tried and tested.. mine's about 13 yrs now:)

^ ebay.com sis or @ rustans makati yata yon. or if you know someone from abroad, SG, HK dami dun. my bf's sister bought hers @ HK. i'm using Braun din, really good. almost 3 years na.

How much usually price range ng Braun? Chineck ko website nila and I want the Braun 7! Hahaha ang ganda!

Philips and panasonic work best for me on legs and down there.  Both have shaver and epilator heads you can change everytime.  Bought them 5-7yrs ago. I also have remington shaver, nice din. For underarms, panasonic is better. Waxing takes a lot of time and makalat.

philips is ok, even the cheapest kind is ok around 2,400+ philips satinelle the basic one....  anyone here who has tried wizzit??? maganda daw sabi ng friend ko, kaya lang nakabili na ko ng philips satinelle soft medyo napamahal nga ako kasi akala ko magagamit ang attachments di naman pala.. i only use two, the epilator and the shaving heads, the others are of no use to me.... sana nag wizzit na lang ako o kaya yung pinaka murang philips...

Where did you get your Panasonic sis? Mga ilang minutes para matapos half legs sa epilator?

I currently use Veet waxing strips for my legs. So far ito na yung pinakamadali at mabilis gamitin na home wax. My sister uses Strip It. Okay din kaso sobrang kalat. I spend 1-2hrs pag ito gamit ko.

Gosh! I have tried it down there and never really planned and tried to finished it.. Natuwa lang ako kasi from roots ng hair natatanggal niya talaga kaso super sakit talaga.. Haha kakalokang experience.. Feeling ko pa nabubugbog ako everytime na nagbabump yung epilator down there, kaya tinigilan mo na..

Pansin ko yung hair natin sa UA and down there are the same.. Pareho kasing natatanggal ng epilator yung hair from roots.. Yung hair naman natin sa legs and arms are the same.. Napuputol kasi siya and konti lang yung natatanggal talaga from roots..

I never tried waxing pero in my opinion matagal magprepare ng DIY wax pero sa pagtatanggal ng hair masmabilis.. Sa epilator naman kailangan talagang daanan ng maraming beses yung area para matanggal lahat ng hair. Masconvenient gamitin ang epilator kasi you just need to plug it and that's it. May wire kasi yung epilator ko. For those na battery operated naman only needs to recharge the batteries and that's it. Kailangan lang ng patience para matanggal lahat yung hair.. Ayun.. I hope may nashare ako for those sisses natin who are planning to buy an epilator..  ^_^
