i stayed in Asia Stars Hotel. sa city proper sya sis. yung misis nung kasama ni hub sa hotel alejandro.

kaya lang hindi na ako nakapag pasyal sa mga spots kasi limited time lang kasi. 1 day lang ako sa tacloban.

For more affordable option, you can try the rosevenil pensione house (http://www.anasiantraveler.com/2008/08/rosvenil-pensione.html). For history buffs, you can visit Red beach where McArthur landed, Sto. Nino Shrine. Visit San Juanico Bridge, Rafael's Farm in Babatngon Leyte which is quite near to Tacloban City.

^ sis, ano yung moron? hehe natawa naman ako sa tawag sa bagay na yan

^oo nga. hehe. yung iba din natatawa pag nalalaman nila yung pangalan. it's a delicacy. Suman sya with chocolate flavor. According to AOP, It is made of ground rice cooked in coconut milk then flavored with cocoa. It is smooth like a budbud kabog. Just imagine a suman dipped in chocolate batirol. Our favorite!

pinyata lang nabili ko sis atsaka kakanin na nakabalot sa dahon ng saging na di ko alam pangalan o tawag.. yun na siguro yung moron? hihi.. binili ko lang para tikman pero nakakabusog pala agad siya

ano ba mga tourist spots dun maliban sa san juanico bridge at saka ilang days ang suggested para maenjoy ang place?

^one day is enough to tour the city, sis. it's just a small city. you can visit the tourist spots in samar like the sohoton cave.

I went to Tacloban last april 29, 2010. we stayed at hotel d' angelo. malapit lang sya sa ocho seafood restaurant. plus may view pa ng san juanico bridge from our window. We went there for work so I wasn't able to visit any tourist spot

here in TAcloban for work! The best ang foods sa Ocho grill, mura na nakakatuwa pa ang customer service... Pansin ko lang dito sa TAcloban ang bait ng mga tao, ngiti sila ng ngiti tapos pag nagtanong ka super detalyado ang mga sagot hehe
